Hey everyone, I'm looking to get into fire pro wrestling world. Now I haven't bought the game yet, because I wanted to know some things and any answers or feedback you guys have would be awesome.
Right off the bat, I'll be looking to download some characters from the workshop but the process to use them seems a bit tedious. All the guides I have seen are years old, like from when the game first came out. To use the character, I have to download the character, then create a promotion, then move said character to the promotion. Is that still the case in 2024? I want to download full collections and that will be very time consuming as yall can imagine if I want that massive roster.
How fleshed out are these characters going to be anyway? Do they have their own entrance? Or even their own music?
Every character seems to have no more than 4 attires, I noticed. Is 4 the max? How can I make more if that's the case? Or is there a mod that can add infinite slots?
Speaking of mods, what mods are essential? If anybody could tell me some I would need, I would appreciate it. I know of mod pack already but I have no clue what it is or what it does.
Most of my concerns are about the wrestlers and mods lol. I'm very intrigued because it honestly seems like my dream wrestling video game. Sorry if it's a lot to read, I'm super new to all of this. Thanks in advance

Hello, I am a PS4 user, so if you are on Steam, use what you can from my responses.
4 slots for attire per character. I find with Entrance Craft, I have to use a slot for the entrance attire.
You can introduce custom music. The process between PC and PS4 is different. I have MP3 and then insert a flash drive into my console to do the transfer.
I would recommend creating the promotions first, then adding the roster. You can just transfer the wrestler from "Retired" to the promotion of your choice. However, if the creator edits, then the wrestler will be updated. I usually subscribe, move to an "EDIT" dump fed, and create an edit based on that wrestler to have a "permanent" copy.
My issue with downloading edits is that for newer wrestlers, the newer creators have 30 something parts to subscribe to as well.
Steam may allow for packs to be downloaded. PS4 doesn't.
As for edits, on PS4 I go for paimrino7...on Steam, there are a lot of good ones, but Avenger is top tier.

Yeah, I figured I would have to come to terms with having to do it one by one. Shame the devs couldn't have made like a downloaded characters section. Is there a cap to how many characters I can put a promotion? And it's funny that you mentioned avenger. His characters are what got me interested in buying the game in the first place. I wish he had some pack trailers to see what I was getting into. Also wish there wasn't a cap on the attires you can make. I'm a creative person and if it was possible, I would probably have like 10+ attires for my go to characters. (lol) Thanks for your help
