So this is basically my love letter to the Fire Pro community, and after months of work I am happy to finally share it with you!
This package includes a brand new save for the 1996 game Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium that features over 50 current stars from WWE, AEW, NJPW, TNA and elsewhere. I have also included nearly 30 legends that were not included in the original game.
In addition to this, I have included my brand new all-in-one patch for the original game that features: the best known English translation of the game, all of Phil Holman's original fixes and enhancements, and now for the first time ever...correct heights for every single wrestler! You can read more in the provided documentation, including the full roster.
AND IN ADDITION TO THAT...I have included my brand new English translation of the original manual!
Please enjoy! Love to you all!
Edit 1 - my IPS patch only works with the No-Intro dump of the game, so be sure to use that when patching

My love of X Premium will never die. It was the First Fire Pro title that I truly fell in love with; and the first entry in the Fire Pro series where I finally got the controls down.
Like many of us western players, I booted up X Premium thinking it played like the typical Wrestling button masher. Boy was I in for a major wakeup call.Match after match, I was getting my butt handed to me. In fact, I couldn't even figure out how to escape submission holds in my first bouts.
Yet, something in me wanted to persist ...and I'm glad I did. Finally sticking a medium grapple against the CPU for the first time ever was oh, so satisfying.
Props for the edit pack, man. It's great seeing X Premium continue to get the appreciation it deserves.

Thank you! Hopefully this spurns more people to release edits in the future and mod the game further.
Yeah I never got the controls down until the past few years. I used to send the Shotgun 2.0 save to my friend over AIM, and we'd play against each other on SNES9X via Kaillera. We were both terrible at playing. But the fact that someone made BIKERTAKER, and you could play him against Hulk Hogan...was amazing at the time.
This project started because I initially wanted to rescue some of the good creations people made circa-1999, but after digging, I figured out that absolutely none of them had correct movesets or logic (if logic was even bothered to be set at all). So I started doing everything from scratch, and quickly realized no one would want to play with most of the old wrestlers anyway. I have leftover classic wrestlers that I'll include next year, a few of which are completely done.
I used some of your model ideas from the past few years as inspiration (Young Bucks come to mind specifically), so thank you for doing what you do!
This is incredibly awesome. Thanks for posting. Now I need to track down the correct version of the ROM lol. Hopefully I'll have more feedback once I've played it in depth.
