Super Fire Pro-Wrestling III Final Bout - Guaranteed Victory Strategy
(Known in Japan as 'スーパーファイヤープロレスリング3ファイナルバウト必勝攻略法')
Pages: 79
Year: 1993
Publisher: Fighting Studios
Out of all of the strategy guides released for Fire Pro, no other installment has more guidebooks than Final Bout on the Super Famicom.
Whereas most sequels had at least one guidebook issued around it's release, Final Bout has a grand total of seven (!!) strategy guides
produced between 1993 and 1994!
While players will say X Premium was (arguably) the most-influential Fire Pro title from the 90's, it's hard to top the amount of coverage
Final Bout was getting during the series' supposed farewell back in 1993.
As far as content goes, the Guaranteed Victory book is pretty straight forward. Movelists for all 64 Wrestlers, advanced gameplay strategies
for expert players, and a host of Final Bout's unlockables; all of which are common knowledge these days.
There are no interviews, illustrations or extra content to be found in the Guaranteed Victory book, but for the diehard Fire Pro aficionados
that want to experience everything the series has to offer, here's one more rare artifact that is finally making it's way to the internet 31
years later.
As always, check back regularly as I scan this guidebook from cover-to-cover.

Page 1: title page. The text at the bottom reads:
"The Fire Pro series excites not only wrestling fans, but everyone. The third installment, Final Bout, is the definitive edition. 64 fighters gather in the ring.
Who is the true champion? The gong for the fight is about to ring. Burn your soul in the ring!"
Pages 2 -3: Table of contents & title page for the Basic Strategy Guide section. The text at the bottom reads:
"Chapter 1 - Basic Strategy Guide - The gong of the soul has sounded! In the burning ring, who will be the last one standing? No mercy, only skill,
a fierce battle is about to begin. Choose your partner! Now is the time to make the strongest wrestler yours!"
Pages 4 - 5: game modes overview.
Pages 6 - 7: game modes continued & beginning of Edit Wrestler mode summation.
Page 8: end of Edit mode.
The created character was named 'Black Liger'. For a game that came out in 1993, I believe this was before the creation of the evil Super Liger (Chris Jericho). and
Liger's heel turn as Black Liger/Kishin Liger.
Page 9: the start of the 'Fight Technique Collection' which reads:
"Here we will teach you the basics of how to fight in each mode. The basics are the same as in previous Fire Pro games, but there are some new
patterns. Don't forget your beginner's training!"
Pages 10 - 11: fight techniques part 1.
Pages 12 - 13: match type explanations.
Page 14: explaining the abilities of the six different referees.
Page 15: title page for the Data Collection section. The text reads:
