FPW arena is locked now, so I can't ask in the stickies there, but so far I haven't seen any patches or add-ons that would turn the default bat black, for Sting to naturally use to beat up nWo members.
Are there any patches like this? Is it possible? It seems like it would be easy to make if it is possible.

There was one to turn the in game chair black as well but I missed out on it before it disappeared.

It is possible but I haven’t seen the weapons textures identified in order to be replaced. I personally want a tennis racket and an umbrella. Maybe some day. If they do, the bat color change will be one of the first as it would be an easy recolor.

We could definitely change the bat to black pretty easily. Texture mods are one thing I am good at. Let me have look at it.

I wonder if we could get damaged weapons after a strike or two. Matsumoto mentioned this back when the game was announced but I think they scraped it. |

Ok, So here is a quick Sting Bat replacement of the original non-barbed-wire bat. I made a quick patcher using Unity Asset Bundle Extractor. Just run the EXE file in your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fire Prowrestling World\FireProWrestlingW_Data" folder. It will patch your resources.assets file. Please backup this file before you patch. Then you just replace this file with the original you backed up to remove the black bat and go back to default. Sting Bat Patch |

Got you covered brother. StrongStyled made a black chair replacement. Installer works the same way as the bat one patching your resources.assets file. Make sure to back it up! Yes you can patch it twice to use both the black bat and the black chair. Black chair replacement installer |

For anyone curious, the weapon textures are just as annoying as the part textures. Each individual angle needs to be made from every different side.

I was working on a guitar, but it always came out too small. Tennis racket might work. Much harder than a the bat, but I am going to look into it. A closed umbrella should be easier. I will try some stuff later. |
