Beatdown Society is Hiring!
Don't mind the otter, it's our mascot! What you need to mind is that our bussiness of promoting good pro-wrestling shows is up and running again after the whole pandemic thing!
and what we need is YOU! We got the whole infrastructure, we got a writer! a streaming deal! a tv broadcast deal and new sponsors! we just need pro wrestlers! we need new candidates for our titles and you probably got what we need! Show up at Nagano's Gym in Tavebent Street J8 in Cambordy, Sanremo and talk to our Human Resources representative! Bring your papers and at least 1k of Non-perishable foods!
The Rundown
It's me again, Romantic, after much consideration i've decided to try my hand at a real collaborative e-fed project this time, my other e-fed, THE PEN is mostly i project i like to work alone even though ive always kept my doors open for other people's edits.
This time around i want your edits to headline the shows, to have the protagonism, i want people who're willing to write promos, and interact with each other, willing to create stables, influence angles and storylines and win titles, i want to experience what it is to run a e-fed where people put their chips in and have fun with the results, unlike THE PEN who was promoted and fought inside a dangerous prison, Beatdown Society is a almost normal promotion, run by mostly normal people, so i will pretty much accept everyone and there will be more flexibility regarding storylines and where they might go since no-one is restricted by virtue of being inside the slammer.
Just submit your edits - I want at max two edits per player - and i will sign them into the upcoming show.
Rules for Submitting Edits
Let's just keep things simple, i know most of you love your edits full of custom parts and custom moves, but Fire Pro World is a lazy piece of software who becomes unstable if too much is added into the memory, so keep the the custom moves and custom parts to a reasonable amount so my game doesn't blow up whenever i need to sim something, i will understand if your edit needs a hat to tie his visual theme altogether, or a hood, or things like that, but if it's completely made of custom parts i will politely ask you to cut them down into something we can work with. I have a truckload of custom moves already, to the point i don't think i need anymore so the same directive also applies here.
I also have something against the NJPW DLC type heads, mostly because the heads in the old style are way more in number and therefore offer more variety, all my edits are made with them, if you submit me a edit with a NJPW DLC type head i will ask you to swap it for a classic one, the hair and other parts i'm fine with it, i just don't want our edits clashing in style, because it's really weird and i'm low budget enough as it is.
as for stat point totals , i keep my edits around the 152 pts mark, i don't feel i need more than that, use that as a measuring stick if you want, and remember this is not meant to be a competitive e-fed, i mean we all want our edits to have fun and win but ask yourself if its going to be fun to dominate every single storyline, angle or contest that comes your way by virtue of maxing everything the game lets you.
other than that, please feel welcome to join in! once i have at least 6 to 8 players i will decide how we're going to communicate, if it's going to be a dedicated discord server, or something like it.
Thank you!
