For our next retro game spotlight, we'll be taking a look at the manual of a Wrestling title that has little to no coverage outside of Japan.
Shiroi Rinngu He Twinkle Little Star is a Wrestling title that was released exclusively for the Super Famicom in 1995. The game was
developed by Pony Canyon, who also released the FMW-licensed Atsushi Onita FMW in 1993.
Besides FMW, two other promotions were featured in Twinkle Little Star: the joshi-led LLPW, and Fujiwara Gumi. which featured submission
legend Yoshiaki Fujiwara.
Front and back cover of the manual.
Over the years, I always thought the game model looked like Megumi Kudo ....turns out, that suspicion was right.
Twinkle's booklet is sprinkled with coloured photos of joshi Wrestling matches.

Pages 3 and 4 introduce Twinkle's fictional story; which revolves around LLPW star Shinobu Kandori (pictured above). The text roughly
translates to:
"In 199X, the world of women's professional wrestling entered an era of unprecedented multi-groups, with various unique groups competing
with each other for splendor, beauty, popularity, and above all, strength. At the climax of the conflict, the ``Women's Pro Wrestling Dream
All-Star Match'' held at Tokyo Dome, Shinobu Kandori, the legendary wrestler who is said to be the strongest in the history of professional
wrestling, competed with her affiliated organization LLPW (Ladies Legend Pro Wrestling). ) announced his withdrawal from the group. A
move was made to establish a new organization.
The news of Kandori's departure from the strongest wrestler shocked the industry. The real reason for her leaving the group is that she
doesn't have any strong opponents around her. Many were irritated by this. She was looking for a new strong enemy who would set her on
fire...
On the day Kandori announced her departure from LLPW, a beautiful girl gazed passionately into the ring. The girl in the audience seats,
witnessing Kandori's strength, clenched her fists and muttered to herself as if she was feeling bad about it. "I've decided. This is the only
way I can live..."
A few days later, six new disciples enter the LLPW dojo, still in shock from Kandori's departure. With their dreams and hopes in their hearts,
6 girls jump into the harsh world of women's professional wrestling... Among those six people was the same girl who was staring at Kandori
at Tokyo Dome...
Another fighting girl legend begins."
