NAMCOT NEWS 9
Year: March 1986
Issue #: 9
Pages: 6
While I'm still scanning the SFPWX Edit Wrestler Guide, I wanted to share this really rare promotional pamphlet with everyone.
A pamphlet that just arrived from Japan.
NAMCOT NEWS was a fanclub newsletter which advertised new and upcoming NAMCO titles released on the Nintendo Famicom.
The ninth issue features coverage of Tag Team Pro-Wrestling (one of the world's first Wrestling games) and Dig Dug 2, the lesser
-known sequel to Namco's arcade classic.

Front cover featuring both titles.
Page 01 - the introduction to Tag Team Pro-Wrestling. Each of the four characters contains a brief bio for:
Ultra Machine (based on Super Strong Machine)
Riki (based on Riki Choshu)
Warrior (Road Warrior Animal/Hawk)
...and Mascross (who's bio states that he's a junior heavyweight champion from Mexico - which means Mascross
is most-likely based on Mil Mascaras).
Page 02 lists moves and attacks found in Tag Team Pro-Wrestling.
The illustrations at the top of the page feature the following moves:
Sasori-Gatame, Brainbuster, Enzuigiri
...and The Western Lariat (which is strange, as 'Western' is the name of Stan Hansen's Lariat.
Makes me wonder if Warrior also has nods to Bruiser Brody/Stan Hansen).
Page 03 mentions that in order to become the "super champion", player(s) must complete 35 consecutive rounds.
With how aggressive the CPU is, I never really made it past the second round when I played Tag Team Wrestling
back in the day.

Page 06 - reader submission fanart, mention of the Xevious gamebook, and a Namco Hotline ad.
The back page lists various NAMCO games for sale. All of which are organized by specific themes. For example, the first batch in the top left
