Hey guys, Bringing back my recommendation thread from the arena. I'll post recommendations of nice edits I found across the Workshop. They don't have to be perfect but if I like them enough and they stand out in my eyes for whatever reason, I'll post them here. First up is toyzoo's Super Leather of FMW. Toyzoo makes really nice edits and his logic is very close to my taste. Super Leather in particular is also very good looking (if you can say that about someone like him). The front part is very well done and he's just a lot of fun to sim in death matches. Here's the link: Super Leather
While you're there, make sure to check out other FMW edits like Jason the Terrible and the legendary deathmatch referee. On a side note - I actually watched a whole DDT event recently thanks to toyzoo's edits so there's that :)

Epic bump and I think it's worth it. The beauty of Fire Pro strikes again as I accidentally stumble across rikson's workshop. The guy made the full roster of Pro Wrestling SHI-EN, a promotion I had no idea existed. I was curious about the edits and about the promotion, checked out a few matches on their youtube page and voila, thanks to Fire Pro I got to know another wrestling promotion. It was kinda cool to see that their first 'shows' were on a mat in the middle on the street with no real ring nor ropes. rikson's edits are very well done. 4 attires each, great color balance (no 0,0,0), voice samples, in-depth logic and movesets. The guy clearly put a lot of care and effort into making these and there's even a ring design. The only thing I did have to change is to scale down the stats. The stats are very reasonable if the promotion operates alone in the world (the ace has around 160 points, some guys have 140, 120 and so on). In Spike point system though it is way too high in my opinion and if I want them to play with other edits, they need to scale down. I'd put the ace at 120 points and most of the roster around 70-80, somewhere between NJPW young lions and my DDT roster. Hope you guys enjoy these as much as I did.

I was making Shi-en edits way back on Returns... Lol, anyway im glad theres more love for Tiger Heart out there. it's a shame he hasn't gotten picked up by a bigger indy. Also TORU is a rising star in the Osaka area, VKF and FREEDOMS, he came from Shi-en originally.

You're a much better expert than me, man. Also, I could swear I remembered Tiger Heart from somewhere... could very well be your version from Returns.
BTW, how would rate these guys in terms of points?

Sonny, I recommend you visit more frequently to the forums and show up in more E-Fed main events because your edit is a beast and having an entrance theme by Dean Martin is awesome.
Did I do this right?

Shi-en News for you Sonny, Hiroaki Taniguchi has received a massive push in the area. Ever sinc ehe grew himself a Kensuke Mullet he's been booked very strong. He even won the VKF Title.
Hiroaki Taniguchi has also been tagging with Tiger Heart. I'm gonna make a new Hiroaki Taniguchi edit soon, but if you want your own id put his new rank somewhere around the 120 parameter mark.
(9:40 in to see Hiro)

I want to recommend desertpunk's Necro Butcher. It's an 'old man' version, which I really like. Two attires, fantastic aesthetics and good logic. Here's (the new) Daniel Bryan getting the pin on Butcher but seeing he is swimming in a pool of his own blood, one have to wonder: at what price?

I had to make him a modern version, He was in a GCW battle ROyal on the 6th, and is coming back to face Joey Janella (for some reason lol)

Not an edit maker but I really wand to recommend suneed, who is making some incredible modded moves for the game. You can find the link to the moves in the pinned post on his twitter accounts. Not only the moves are mostly very smooth and clean, but suneed also keeps them very organized in his google drive folder so it is easy to tell which move goes where.

Agreed! One of the highlights of my Twitter experience is seeing Suneed's modded moves! I especially love his transitions from category to other categories (including back to front which Spike never gave us!). He animated everything really well too and comes up with some really cool ideas 💡
