I loved pro wrestling from the 1980's when the Territories were in full effect. So many people have created great old time wrestlers in the Steam Workshop that I have downloaded.
There is one HUGE problem with all these thousands of downloaded wrestlers. The authors of these wrestlers included their actual birthdates in their bios. This means that when I have Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes in my promotion, they retire after the first or second month of a NEW promotion. I need to change the starting year for a new custom promotion in Fire Promoter. If I can make the starting year be 1985, then Ric Flair will likely not retire so quickly after I start the promotion, which seems to be defaulting to our current year 2022.
Any advice here is appreciated. Has this problem been addressed in the past?
If anybody knows of any mods for this, then can you point me to that?
Or maybe some literature on how to modify the code in this game? I have professional experience with software development. I would just like to know the starting point for editing this variable that holds the current year that Fire Promoter is looking at when applying the wrestler retirement against a wrestlers birthday listed in their bio. thank you. Edit all the wrestlers to make their birthdays 40 years later than they are |
