The previous iteration of CRITICAL! X was a giant round-robin league, this one is a more managably-sized 16-participant single-elimination tournament, featuring the contracted wrestlers/champions and the free-agent Women's Champion BEAST Shiori, where the winner would receive the 2nd of 3 contendership spots to the World Championship at the main event of Alliance Rising.
The only active edits not participating in C!X SPECIAL were the World Champion Chad Fukushima and the CRITICAL! Royale winner Vulcan Vesuvius; they will be participating in special matches though.
(This will be updated with the exhibitions and title matches that also took place during the event when those get recorded and uploaded, as well as with the specific details of the tournament itself.)
