Following its June 13th show, SHTCWA has reinstated its LUCHA CROWN, an open championship for any masked wrestler in various promotions to challenge for on future SHTCWA shows. At the moment, El Hijo del 8-Bit, SHTCWA's inaugural champion, remains UNCHALLENGED for his LUCHA CROWN.
LUCHA CROWN RULES:
Challengers MUST be wearing a mask. High-flying luchadors and luchadoras are preferred, but obviously, they don't have to be strictly high-flyers. Use common sense. For example, if you have, say, a monster heel edit who just happens to wear a mask, compared to a traditional luchador, go for the traditional luchador. Lucha is in the name, after all.
Open challenge rules a la the Purple Jacket, Big Gold Buckle, etc. Challenges will only be confirmed via promos. Edits must be available to download via the Workshop. Vanilla method of downloading preferred, but as an export is fine, too. Standard "community rules" apply; don't make overly-hossy edits, etc., etc.

Royale, this title of being CRITICAL! Club Cruiserweight Champion is the culmination of 15 years of blood, sweat, tears, and even a full head of hair that one time. Going into FPC's "The Homestretch" AS the new Cruiserweight Champion, I'm not taking anything for granted, least of all an opportunity to win more championships across affiliates, like at Monday Night Wrestling. The mask is coming back on, the Liberty Bell is going to be rung once more, and there couldn't possibly be any more fitting first challenger for the re-activated Lucha Crown than yours truly. Hijo del 8-Bit, I'm going to step into that ring against you and show you why FreedoM is what I'M fighting for. Pan up to FreedoM in full League attire, pointing to the belt as we fade out.  |

La Relampaga<If there's one thing that's escaped me lately, it's championships. I'm no stranger to gold: the Dynasty Cyclones' reputation speaks for itself, and I've held Phoenix Rising's Pacific Northwest Championship in the past. But lately, nothing. I've come up short, singles, tag, trios... and I've lived in the shadow of my tag partners, Layla Al-Amin in particular, so I think it's high time we changed that.
They've called me the Lightning Luchadora. Dynamic, electric, relentless. And I believe there's no better way to begin the history of your new Lucha Crown than with a match to remember... fast, electrifying, the definition of pure lucha.

Space Traveler Caesar: The scene is currently in what looks to be a retro-looking space station of sorts. The camera is currently pointed at the challenger in question, Space Traveler Caesar, who is currently floating midair in a lounging position and enjoying a banana. From there, begins to address the current holder of the crown, using the fruit as a prop as if it were his microphone. "Greetings! This is Space Traveler... Caesar! Caesar is recording... This because of the... Current challenge at hand! Announced very... Recently! Caesar takes great... Interest in the Lucha Crown! Son of 8 Bit! Prepare to be button... Bashed by an Astral Chimp... Like Caesar! I hope... This challenge gets accepted!" Really solid, fun, fast-paced match. Much deserved 100% in this absolute sprint. 8-Bit looks undefeatable tbh. Also lol inb4bookingmodaccusations.

Really solid match, here. Fast-paced, fun lucha stuff, as many of the matches have been. Hexagon really took it to 8-Bit, and he simply put him away. Some good, fun, back-and-forth before Hexagon took it into overdrive. Really good stuff.

El Chico Con Resaca
The Current Scene is in what looks to be a pool party, with the challenger lounging in a chair in his full gear, suit & tie. He had just finished chugging a down bottle of Tequila in front of an awed crowd consisting with fellow independent/minor league luchadors & luchadoras. That bottle seems to have not been his first, as there are multiple other similar cans and glassware piling up to his side.
El Chico Con Resaca: "So, most of not all of you friends have heard about the recent *hic* announcement of the Lucha Crown, no...? I feel like lighting the first *hic* spark and challenging for it! Because a crown... Deserves to be *hic* on top of this Corona enthusiast!"
Crowd Member: "But Chico, are you sure about that, pal? The current holder is none other than Hexagon Jr. of Lucha POWER! How're you going to take on someone as legendary as him?"
It is from there where El Chico Con Resaca slams his gloved hands down on the table, a fire lit in his hazy eyes.
El Chico Con Resaca: "Thing is *hic*. I got no clue. But here's the advantage! With luchadors and luchadoras *hic* like us very low on the radar, they don't know how we wrestle things *hic* here! He won't know what hit him..."
Turning over to the one recording his exploits, El Chico Con Resaca points a finger gun at the camera.
El Chico Con Resaca: "Let it be known that El Chico Con *hic* Resaca will take you on, Hexagon! *hic* I can't drive, so I'll *hic* walk all over you instead, how about that?"
And from there, the video feed cuts to black after ECCR raises another bottle of alcohol in an apparent toast, with the crowd doing the same, at least with those holding drinks.
