Born out of a split from the All Wrestling Federation during its downfall in 2019, SUNRISE Women’s Pro Wrestling has quickly become one of the fastest rising women’s promotions in the United States, gaining a worldwide reputation as a prime spot for women’s wrestling in the process. With a roster that has played host to both rising homegrown stars in the women’s wrestling scene and established names elsewhere, SUNRISE stands poised to ascend past its predecessor going into its 3rd year.
SUNRISE has four main tournaments: Redawn in January, the Spring Cup in March, the Sun Queen’s Challenge in June, and the World Tag Cup in November. I’ll also try and do shows on Thursdays or weekends, but those will more likely than not be a lot less consistent. All shows will be on at 9PM EST and livestreamed over on my Twitch page, with archives uploaded to Youtube a week after they go live.

Sun Queen's Challenge: Night One
A night of upsets, some friendly competition, and assertion of dominance. For now, the archive is available on Twitch, but I'll upload it to Youtube after it expires there. MATCH 1: Gloria Campbell vs Eun-Jin Choi Starting off with the only match between two women making their SUNRISE Debut, Gloria Campbell took on Eun-Jin Choi. The two were mostly even throughout the match, with Eun-jin mainly using her Judoka roots and Gloria trying to overwhelm her, but in the end, Gloria succeeded and advanced to the second round. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS (if available): As she walks into the interview room, Gloria Campbell takes a sip of a water bottle, before passing off her Belt to a SUNRISE trainee. "Just set that in my locker room," she says, "and so help me you let anything happen to it." She turns to face the camera. "I came here, not just to the Challenge, but to SUNRISE, to fight the best. If that's what you call 'the best,' then I get the sense this is gonna leave me incredibly disappointed. She wasn't even the best in ZIP!" She lets out a long, exhausted sigh as she brushes the hair out of her eyes with her hand. "I guess it isn't *that* big of a deal, I have the second round coming up. Here's hoping it's actually someone worthwhile."
MATCH 2: Tori Watson vs Vicki Violence In one of the most drastic clashes of styles imaginable, Tori Watson took on Vicki Violence. As that introduction would suggest, this ended up being Vicki's (often illegal) cheap play vs Tori's technical prowess. In the end, Tori Watson won with La Magistral following a German Suplex from outside of the ring to inside.
BACKSTAGE COMMENTS:
Tori Watson runs into the interview room with an ice pack wrapped in a towel, yelling almost every swear word in the English Dictionary as she signals for tag partner Anna Doyle. Anna enters the shot with a look of both confusion and concern.
"What is it?" Anna asks. "How bad is the cut from that sickle?" Tori asks, removing the ice pack. Anna takes a look before recoiling with a shocked look on her face as Tori puts it back on.
"Oh, bloody hell, that's awful," Anna says, before starting to chuckle to herself. "Are you-" Tori starts, before she herself starts laughing. "Come on! Play with the bit!" she says, removing the ice pack. There's no cut at all. "Hey, Vicki! You have to sharpen the sickle for it to work! How do you not know this?!"
Anna is still laughing out of shot. "I'm never doing this with you again, I hope you know that!" Tori says. "Well, honestly, she didn't pose much issue. Maybe you're just giving me easy opponents because you think I'm still not at 100%? I've been back since April. I don't need coddling from management. Anyway, up next tomorrow is Gloria. I heard your little rant backstage. You wanted the best? You're in luck." She says, as both her and Anna exit the interview room.
Vicki Violence declined to (officially) comment backstage, instead electing to throw a fork at the camera. "There's your damn comment," she says, walking off. "This isn't over!" she continues before exiting.
MATCH 3: ROXXIE HAYES VS AYA MIZUNO Next up was Roxxie Hayes vs Aya Mizuno. Both women could have viably won here, with Aya having an overwhelming experience advantage over practically everyone in the tournament, however, Roxxie remains one of the most skilled women in SUNRISE, as well as being one of the few with multiple singles championships to back it up. In the end, all it took was a single Purple Haze from Roxxie to knock out Aya.
BACKSTAGE COMMENTS:
As Roxxie Hayes enters camera shot, she undoes her wrist tape. "Aya, I owe a lot to you, I don't think I'd be here if not for those old-ass Zenjo tapes of you, but in the end, I was the better woman tonight." She lets out a chuckle. "Honestly, I was kinda expecting to get misted. Whatever, doesn't matter now, *I* have my sights on the future. Nikkita, I'm after you. That beautiful world championship is coming back to the Cult of Dionysus."
MATCH 4: OLIVIA JAKUN VS AMELIA BLACK
In yet another clash of styles, Olivia Jakun took on Amelia Black. This was the power of Jakun vs Black's pure speed. Black had a good showing for her first match in a SUNRISE tournament, but Jakun's power ended up being too much and she lost to a Pumphandle Slam. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS: Olivia Jakun throws her water bottle to the side as she enters the interview room. "My first-round match was a child. I don't know if I should be impressed she managed to keep pace with me...or disappointed in myself over her keeping pace with me. Amelia, I don't know when--or even if--you'll see this, but you have promise. If you wanna run this again, I'll be ready. Up next, Roxxie Hayes. I know you *really* want that white whale of yours, that SUNRISE World Championship, but it's not happening. I almost had Nikkita at Redawn, and I am going to finish the job at Coronation." Amelia Black enters the interview room, grabbing at her back, her gaze laser-pointed to the sky. "I really thought I could prove myself. I thought, 'if I can make it in the Sun Queen's Challenge, I can make it anywhere else!' But I think this is kind of...humbling." She pauses for a moment, before looking into the camera. "I may be good now, but I still have a ways to go," she says, sighing. "I'll bounce back, and I'll come back better for this loss."
MATCH 5: FANTASIA COSMICA VS REINA GALAXIA Next up, we had a battle between masked women with space-themed names, as Wrestle Parade's Fantasia Cosmica took on Reina Galaxia. Despite some similarities in naming conventions and influences, Reina's comparatively more power-focused style paid off, as she defeated the Intergalactic Wonder with a C4.
MATCH 6: MARILYN WATSON VS ANNA DOYLE In a match that promised to be a technical feast, Anna Doyle took on Marilyn Watson. What actually happened was something that no one in the arena expected. Marilyn evidently did lots and lots of homework, learning what to expect and how to counter Anna's more ground-based offense, as in what looks to be the biggest upset of the entire tournament, Marilyn completely steamrolled Anna Doyle in under 10 minutes.
BACKSTAGE COMMENTS:
Marilyn Watson walks into the Interview room, a fire in her eyes as she stares down the camera. "Tori, I hope you saw that. I just *destroyed* your partner. She's a former world champion, and I did that to her. I just want you to know, I'm rooting for you. You'd better make it to the finals, because I've been itching at the chance to give you what you deserve; the most thorough ass-kicking known to man. But, I still need to take out Reina, so to her; I hope you were paying attention to that."
Anna Doyle refused to comment backstage, but was visibly furious at herself.
MATCH 7: ARIS WHITE VS JESSIE PAGE In the only match between members of the same faction in the tournament, Jessie Page took on Aris White. The match started out relatively competitive, but Aris wasn't really taking it that seriously. That changed when Jessie Page scored two back-to-back near-falls, the first with her Lungblower, the second with a roll-up, at which point Aris kicked into high gear and stayed there for the rest of the match. Ultimately, it wasn't enough for the Trans Soul Rebel, as Jessie Page got a win following another Lungblower. Both women walked out together afterwards, accompanied by former stablemate-turned-referee Alex Perkins.
MATCH 8: MITSUKI ASHIDA VS NIKKITA NATRIX And in the main event, Nikkita Natrix took on Mitsuki Ashida. This was the two's first singles meeting since July of last year, where Nikkita Natrix captured the SUNRISE World Championship from Nikkita, ironically after winning the SQC herself. The loss clearly still stung to Mitsuki, who demanded the match be officiated by World Championship Referee James Waters and came out, for the most part, forgoing her usual extravagance for all business. She also was far more aggressive than usual, focusing more on punishing Natrix over winning. Ultimately, however, her fury ended up working to her detriment, as Nikkita Natrix scored a win by making Ashida pass out in the Saint Michel. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS:
Nikkita Natrix enters the Interview room with a grin on her face and the SUNRISE World Championship around her shoulders. "Well, it looks like I'm nominating my opponent for Coronation. I was hoping, of all people, Mitsuki Ashida, the one I took this title from--"she points to the World Championship"--would be capable of actually learning from her mistakes, learning my weaknesses, learning how to exploit them, learning how to beat me, but nope. Her big rematch, she's too caught up in the moment, the rage over the fact that I beat her a year ago, to actually capitalize. I'm disappointed. No matter. I still have three more rounds of this to go, surely I can find someone worthy of my time. Hell, my next match is Jessie Page, right? I can only hope. Jessie, whenever you see this, just know, I hope you do better than Mitsuki did tonight. I really do." She takes a swig from her water bottle, before saying "Some bitches are gonna regret signing up for this!*" and exiting the interview room. * - trans. from Russian
Mitsuki Ashida enters the interview room, visibly distraught over the results of the night. She looks around in camera shot for a minute, searching for the right word to say, before simply yelling "Fuck!" and promptly exiting the interview room.
And that's all! See you all tomorrow at 9PM Eastern for the remainder of the tournament!
Match 1: Tori Watson vs Gloria Campbell Match 2: Olivia Jakun vs Roxxie Hayes Match 3: Marilyn Watson vs Reina Galaxia Match 4: Nikkita Natrix vs Jessie Page Matches 5+6: Semifinals Match 7: 2/3 Falls Final: Winner gets a World Championship Match vs Nikkita Natrix at Coronation in July

Sun Queen's Challenge: Night 2 We may be witnessing the rise of a new queen of the sport.
VOD is currently available on Twitch, but I'll upload it to Youtube after it expires.
MATCH 1: Gloria Campbell vs Tori Watson We started off with Gloria Campbell vs Tori Watson. After a short process of feeling each other out, both women entered a mad dash to land a pin first. Ultimately, it wasn't finishers that did the job, but one of the simplest moves in the book, as Tori tossed an exhausted Gloria to the mat and quickly transitioned into a 5-star clutch to advance into the semifinals. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS: As Gloria Campbell walks into the interview room, she quickly puts her jacket on one arm, briefly dropping her green skull mask. "Tori was the better woman tonight, That's all there is to it," she says as she picks the mask back up. She pauses for a moment and smirks to herself. "Emphasis on 'tonight,' though. Tori, I'm gonna ask for a rematch. You name the place, time, and I'll show the world that I *am* the best."
MATCH 2: Roxxie Hayes vs Olivia Jakun Next up was a battle between two women who became darkhorses for the tournament, as Roxxie Hayes took on Olivia Jakun. After briefly feeling each other out, Roxxie began to try and turn this into an endurance match. When that didn't work, Roxxie responded by just about trying to kill Olivia, particularly with a Death Valley Bomb off of the top rope and several Northern Lights. Olivia proved resilient, however, and knocked off Roxxie with a Pumphandle Slam. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS: Roxxie Hayes enters the interview room, undoing her wrist tape as she looks at the camera. "Olivia, you are one resilient bitch! Not bad. I'd be rooting for you if Jessie wasn't still in the-" As Roxxie is about to finish, Aya Mizuno runs into frame like a green blur, spraying her mist into Roxxie's face. As Hayes is disoriented, Mizuno picks her up and hits a Poison Bomb. "What was it you said about expecting to get misted?*" She yells at Roxxie on the ground. She then looks up to the camera with a smile on her face. "April, consider this your notice. You've got Roxxie here at Coronation. She's quickly making her way up to hall of fame status, she's one of only two people to hold multiple singles belts here, and I couldn't give less of a shit about it! I'm sending out the challenge right now; make it a triple threat and take on a legend! I'm looking forward to getting one more belt for my collection!*" Aya leaves as the rest of the Cult of Dionysus comes in to check on Roxxie. * - trans. from Japanese
MATCH 3: Reina Galaxia vs Marilyn Watson Next up was the first Queens vs. Hanran match of the night, as Reina Galaxia took on Marilyn Watson. With Watson's decimation of Anna Doyle the previous night still fresh in mind, Reina tried to end the match quickly with head drops. She eventually succeeded, with a Beso de Muerte ending in a Critical for the finish.
MATCH 4: Jessie Page vs Nikkita Natrix Next up was a battle between the first SUNRISE World Champion and the most dominant, as Jessie Page took on Nikkita Natrix. Nikkita made the same mistake as Aris White had the previous night of not taking Jessie seriously. Similarly, after a Lungblower from Page, Nikkita kicked into high gear, but it wasn't enough, as Page's limbwork paid off and Nikkita passed out in a Kimura Lock to allow Page to advance to the Semifinals. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Nikkita Natrix enters the interview room, with her title wrapped around her neck and clutching at her right arm. "Well, I wanted someone worth my time, and I got it. Page, I hope we meet again. I'd die for another chance to beat your ass. That's won't be for a bit, though. For now, Reina, give her hell for me."
MATCH 5: Olivia Jakun vs Tori Watson For our first semifinal, Tori Watson took on Olivia Jakun. Both women knew it was in their best interest to end things early, and as such, this match got going quick. Olivia eventually got the win off with yet another Pumphandle. becoming your first finalist. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Tori Watson enters the interview room, holding an ice pack to her back. "Well, I'm disappointed in that result, but I'm happy with how I did. Making it to the final four on my first go is something to be proud of." She pauses for a moment. "Well, as one path to Coronation ends, another opens. Mary! I heard your little message. If you wanna fight me that badly, then I'll lay out the challenge for July. You and me, Coronation, one last time. I look forward to your response...and also to getting one more win over you."
MATCH 6: Reina Galaxia vs Jessie Page In the second semifinal, Reina Galaxia took on Jessie Page. Like Tori and Olivia, the two went in understanding that finishing quickly would be pivotal to their success. Reina went for the critical a few times again, but ultimately failed to get it off, eventually resorting to her C4 once more, which succeeded, putting her in the final. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Jessie Page needs to be helped into the interview room by her stablemates and Alex Perkins. "Reina, not bad. I'm not a fan of your boss and stablemates, but given a few years, you're gonna go far. Hell, by rule, I'm next in line for the belt now, after whoever wins the tournament has their shot. Reina, it may not happen, but I'm looking forward to the chance to fight you again. But it may not even be you. I could be talking on Nikkita again, or Olivia, so to all three of you, know this: Whichever one of you is champion at the end of Coronation, I'll be waiting right there. I'll say it right now; Jessie Page is going to be the first ever two-time SUNRISE World Champion. Mark my words."
MATCH 7: 2/3 Falls, Reina Galaxia vs Olivia Jakun And in the main event, Reina Galaxia immediately took on Olivia Jakun. Olivia went in for the kill quickly, cutting Galaxia open on a headbutt. After more work on Galaxia, Olivia scored the first point with a Shoten. However, After being attended to by a ringdoctor, Reina kicked back into high gear in the 2nd fall and got a point with the Beso de Muerte. Going into sudden death, both women went for the kill quickly, but in the end, Olivia Jakun scored the final fall with a Pumphandle. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Reina Galaxia had to be helped backstage by her stablemates and was not available for comment. Nikkita Natrix, however, was available.
"Olivia, congratulations on your win. I was in your shoes once. The difference is that unlike you will in two weeks time, I actually won my challenge. I look forward to beating you two-to-nothing at Coronation. Until then, stay healthy, and save that ass for me." As Olivia Jakun enters the interview room, she wipes the tears from her eyes. "If you told me, immediately after Redawn, I'd be main eventing Coronation in a rematch for that world title, I'd slap you in the face for being a filthy liar. Honestly, I have very little to say right now, whether I've already said it or I'm just at a loss for words, so all I'll say is this: <Nikkita: Try to put on the facade of the undefeatable champion all you want, I almost had you beaten at Redawn, you know it and I know it. This time, I'm going to finish the job, beat you two-to-nothing, and take that World Championship. Until then, Enjoy what little time you have left with that belt.> <> - trans. from Finnish
And that's all! No show Thursday so I can take time to do some balancing but I'll have some promos up. Till then, take care!

Well, this is a bit late! These were supposed to come out on Thursday, but I didn't get them posted then and was busy for most of yesterday. Anyway, Promos!
Marilyn Watson responds to her Sister's Coronation Proposition! Mere hours after Night 2 of the Sun Queen’s Challenge's conclusion, Marilyn Watson exits a local hospital after being on the receiving end of a Critical BDM by Reina Galaxia, as she is informed of both the results of the night...and the challenge of her sister, Tori Watson. “’As one path closes, another opens,’” Marilyn repeats quietly. “How apt of you to say that, Tori. You couldn’t make it to the main event against your boss, so now you’re gonna settle for me if it means getting onto Coronation. Well, dear sister, you’re in luck. We both know I’ve been itching another chance to get at you for a while, so the question was never 'oh, will Marilyn accept the challenge?' it was ‘did you even need to ask?’ You’re on. See you on the 9th." After Aya Mizuno's attack on Roxxie Hayes, April Hawkins gives her answer to the challenge! As the camera fades into the SUNRISE Dojo, April Hawkins glares down the lens, her silver SUNRISE Moon Championship in hand as the rookies spar with each other in the background, under the watchful eye of Hanran stablemate Trixie Sinclair. “So, Grandmother Poison wants a shot at my silver belt,” she starts with a confident smirk on her face. “Well, I am a fighting champion, but what irks me, Aya, is how you went about asking for a shot. If you wanted a shot at this belt, all you had to do was ask, but no, instead, you had to resort to crashing my challenger’s comments, when you couldn’t even beat her on your own in the first round of a tournament! Well, no matter how I feel about how you went about it, you challenged me. You want my belt? Earn your chance. I’ll be waiting, next week on Equinox. Beat me one-on-one, and that three-way at Coronation is yours. Just don't be surprised when you leave the arena with less teeth than you came in with.”
Tori Watson responds to Gloria Campbell! As the camera fades into the hotel room of Tori Watson, she briefly looks to an unopened book on a desk before she turns to face the lens. “Gloria Campbell. Conquerer of the American Independent Scene, and the lady who couldn’t even beat me. Now she wants another shot at me because she’s too damn proud to admit she's not as good as she thinks she is. Gloria, let me ask you something; do you think I’m an idiot? Do you think I haven’t seen the shit you and your posse get up to? Newsflash: SUNRISE isn’t the only company I watch! Even a grade schooler could figure out what's going on, let alone me. I’m not falling for your trap. If you need your ladies to win for you, you do not belong in SUNRISE, simple as that. If you want another shot to prove you’re ‘better’ than me, then get better than me, because right now, you sure as hell aren’t." She gets up to leave the room.
"And SSDB, Don’t think that just because I’ve got a bigger match than you two against Marilyn now that you’re gonna have an easier time. Someone else in the Queens'll replace me. You could be up against the Sun Queen's Finalist, Reina Galaxia, you could be up against the Scarlet Queen, Sydney Hall, hell, maybe Nikkita will decide just one match isn't enough for her that night and take those belts, but no matter who, y’all still have your plates full. Those belts are coming to the Queens.”
And that's all! Short show on Thursday and then Coronation the week after that!

Equinox #1 Card Announcement
Aris White vs Sondra Blaidd Trixie Sinclair vs Anna Doyle
Selena Beaumont vs Georgia Eagles Aya Mizuno vs April Hawkins
Nikkita Natrix and Reina Galaxia vs Olivia Jakun and Amelia Black
Just a short show before Coronation next Saturday. The two big matches here are gonna be Mizuno vs Hawkins and the main event tag team match. Per Hawkins' challenge, if Aya Mizuno wins, she will be added to the Moon Championship match to challenge alongside Roxxie Hayes in a 3-way.
The main event tag can be a preview of the main event next Saturday, but there's more to it. Amelia and Jakun are not stablemates like Nikkita and Reina, and only really have a competitive respect for each other. However, Amelia does have something to gain by accepting Olivia's invitation to be her tag partner for this match, namely, if she gets the win over Nikkita, she's owed a championship match after Jessie Page's challenge. Knowing that chance is in grasp, will Amelia put winning over Nikkita over just simply winning?
Outside those two, sort of an exhibition show. Sinclair vs Doyle is the Watson's partners going up against each other prior to their clash, White vs Blaidd is a match between a recent dojo graduate and her trainer, and Beaumont vs Eagles is an exhibition at the request of Beaumont looking to show what she can do on her own.
That's all! I may be out late tonight, so this show is gonna be at 10PM EST instead of our normal 9PM. I hope to see you all there!

Equinox #1 Results A night of upsets, lots of blood, and an utter war to main-event. Archive is on Twitch right now, but will be uploaded to Youtube after it expires.
Match 1: Aris White vs Sondra Blaidd To open things up, Aris White took on Sondra Blaidd. Aris ended up making the same mistakes she did against Jessie Page; not taking her opponent seriously. That changed after Sondra landed Astro Scissors, sending Aris outside the ring. Aris proceeded to land both a River Styx and a Canadian Destroyer for back-to-back 2.9s. In the end, Sondra hit a Critical Benadriller for the Knockout win.
Match #2: Trixie Sinclair vs Anna Doyle Next up was a battle between the Watson's tag team partners, as Trixie Sinclair took on Anna Doyle. Anna walked in incredibly hungry to prove herself after an utter defeat at the hands of Marilyn Watson in the Sun Queen's Challenge, and found a challenge in Trixie, who was able to keep pace with her on the mat. Ultimately, though, it was not enough for Sinclair, and Anna won by submission with a Chickenwing.
Match 3: Selena Beaumont vs Georgia Eagles Next up was one half of the tag team champions taking on a visitor from Wrestle Parade, as Selena Beaumont took on Guts and Glory's Georgia Eagles. Georgia was very quickly busted open with a knee from Selena, and unfortunately, her bad luck would continue throughout the match, as despite a valiant effort, Selena's kicks proved overpowering and she won with a Power of NEO. Match 4: Aya Mizuno vs April Hawkins In the semi-main event slot with Coronation implications, Aya Mizuno took on SUNRISE Moon Champion April Hawkins, where if she won, she would be added to the Moon Championship match at Coronation. Despite her efforts, Aya Mizuno fell victim after back-to-back Axe Kicks from April, keeping her match against Roxxie Hayes as a one-on-one bout. Match 5: Nikkita Natrix and Reina Galaxia vs Olivia Jakun and Amelia Black And in the main event, we got a preview of the Coronation Main Event, as Nikkita Natrix and Reina Galaxia of the Queens of Wrestling took on Olivia Jakun and Amelia Black. This was a 30-plus minute war, with Olivia getting Tiger Suplexed by Nikkita into the ringpost, Amelia getting stabbed with a fork, Nikkita being powerbombed from the apron to outside the ring, and in the end, Reina Galaxia getting revenge for the Sun Queen's finals with a BDM win over Olivia Jakun. And that's all! No show next thursday so I can do final prep for Coronation next Saturday. I hope to see you all there!

Coronation Full Card Announcement
Firstly, regarding the SQC VODs, I know the upload is late, I just haven't gotten to it yet, but probably just going to be uploaded in bulk alongside Equinox #1, probably on Friday.
With that out of the way, Coronation! Most of the card has been announced already, but there are a few matches I haven't said anything about yet, so here's the rest of the card for Coronation, this Saturday at 9PM EST!
Pre-Show Match: Experimental(so non-canon) "Go Fast" Match
This is on the pre-show because it's just something I want to experiment with and see if people like it. Basically what this will be is a test of a new division that i'm (preemptively) calling the Go Fast division, where the idea is basically to make super fast-paced matches that can end really quickly. This won't be canon due to it's experimental nature, but I'll still keep it in the VOD.
Rookie Graduation Match: Emily Holiday vs Rosa Ferrant vs Elaine Robinson As I briefly alluded to at the beginning of Equinox last week, I have a few rookies who are basically done and ready to debut!
Going down the line, you have Emily Holiday, a very young, quick rookie who takes after various Luchadors and Junior Heavyweights, Rosa Ferrant, a hard-hitting hoss seeking to live up to her mythological nickname of "Senorita Atlas," and Elaine Robinson, a rough shoot-inspired wrestler who can--and will--kick people's heads in.
SUNRISE Open This is another multi-woman match, but one i'm gonna keep close to my chest as to the participants. How it works and the stakes, though, I will not. Put simply, 8-woman battle royal, 4 women from SUNRISE, 4 women from other promotions, winner gets a shot at either of the Singles Championships in SUNRISE.
Other than these three, every other match has been announced. You have a tiebreaker between siblings in Tori Watson vs Marilyn Watson, Anna Doyle and a partner from the Queens of Wrestling vying for the Tag Team Championships against Selena Beaumont and Sassy Doll, Roxxie Hayes looking to become a 3-time Moon Champion against April Hawkins, and Olivia Jakun looking to finally be the one to unseat Nikkita Natrix before she hits a year as SUNRISE World Champion.
All of this will be on Saturday, July 9th, with the pre-show at 8:45PM EST and the actual show starting with the Rookie Match at 9PM EST. I hope to see you all there!

Coronation Results A night of surprises, upsets, and a Queen cementing her reign. VOD is up on Twitch, will be uploaded to Youtube next week. (As a side note, the SQC and Equinox #1 are also finally up if you didn't get to see them!)
Match 1: Rookie Graduation: Emily Holiday vs Rosa Ferrant vs Elaine Robinson To open the night, three rookies had their graduation match as Emily Holiday, Rosa Ferrant, and Elaine Robinson went up against each other in a triple threat. All three women had strong showings, but in the end, the match went to a time limit draw just as Emily hit an Okite Martilo de Dios on Rosa.
Match 2: SUNRISE Open Not going to be going too in-depth because this match had a lot going on, mostly just sticking to entrants and who eliminated who. START: Amelia Black and Sondra Blaidd Entrant #3: Freya O'Malley makes a surprise appearance! Entrant #4: Fantasia Cosmica returns after being knocked out in Round 1 of the Sun Queen's Challenge!
Immediately after Fantasia began to make her way to the ring, Freya O'Malley scored the first elimination on Amelia Black. Entrant #5: Eun-jin Choi Entrant #6: Gloria Campbell Sondra Blaidd eliminated Freya O'Malley and then Fantasia Cosmica threw out Sonda immediately after.
Entrant #7: Trixie Sinclair Entrant #8: Hana Brightly makes her SUNRISE Debut! Trixie Sinclair threw Fantasia Cosmica out. Eun-jin Choi threw out Trixie Sinclair. Hana Brightly threw out Eun-jin Choi. Gloria Campbell threw out Hana Brightly to win the Open, she can now challenge for either the Moon or World Championship.
Match 3: Marilyn Watson vs Tori Watson
In the first Singles match of the night, Marilyn Watson took on Tori Watson. After a short feeling-out process, these two went breakneck, ending when Marilyn Watson hit a Snap-Dragon Suplex into the turnbuckle for the win. After Marilyn exited the stadium, Tori was attacked by Gloria Campbell and the arrival of the rest of her SKULL ARMY.
BACKSTAGE COMMENTS
Marilyn Watson enters the interview room as she takes off her sleeves. "Tori, I was the better woman tonight," she starts. "You tried getting into my head there with the old gear, didn't you? Not in a million years. I still want to hope we can go back, but it's not gonna happen." She pauses to contemplate. "Hanran's doors are always open if you realize sticking with Nikkita was a mistake."
Flanked by NADIA, Elena Rose, and Lydia Anthouli, Gloria Campbell enters the interview room. "Tori, you're a smart woman, but clearly not that smart. You thought you were out of the woods when you declined the match against me? Ha! Nope! But let's be honest here, you're small fry in this company. I may have personal issues with you, but we, as the SKULL ARMY, we're putting everyone on notice! You got three of the most dangerous women in the industry to worry about now. From everyone's favorite sadist, NADIA, to Dimios here, Lydia Anthouli, to the Thorn, Elena Rose. We're here to take over this company, and none of you are able to stop us. As for my shot: Nikkita, Jakun, or Page: I'll be waiting for you."
Match 4: Queens of Wrestling vs SSDB (c) - SUNRISE Tag Team Championships In the first Championship match of the night, the Queens of Wrestling, being represented by Anna Doyle and Reina Galaxia in Tori Watson's stead, taking on Sassy Doll and Selena Beaumont. This was a nearly 30-minute war with both sides giving their all. Selena Beaumont tried to end things early with a Power of NEO, and from there, it escalated, with Sassy Doll being stabbed with a fork and Reina seemingly sustaining a neck injury after a Tiger Driver '98 by Doll. In the end, Anna Doyle countered a back grapple into an armbar and that was it, as the Queens captured their first Tag Team Championships after Natrix's takeover.
BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Selena Beaumont and Sassy Doll enter the interview room, the latter with a red bandage on her forehead; a mark from Reina's fork. "Do you want to say it, or will I?" Selena asks. "You can do it," Doll says. "I need to get this actually looked at by a doctor anyway. Good luck, Sel." After an embrace from Selena, Doll leaves, and Beaumont looks into the camera. "As much as we want to say we'll go for our belts down the line," Selena starts, her voice heavy, "that's more likely than not going to be the last time I and Sassy Doll team together." She pauses. "We came to the decision a few weeks ago that win or lose here, this was going to be our last match as a tag team. Doll feels like she needs to change up what she's doing, and I have my own aspirations as a singles wrestler. I want to be World Champion, obviously, but between that and Doll's issues, we decided it was better to split. So, Anna, Reina, Congratulations, I hope you kick some serious ass with those belts."
Anna Doyle enters the interview room, alone and with both Tag Team Championships. "When the Queens say they're going to take a championship, they take that fucking championship! Doll, you did a number on Reina, but strength recognizes strength. If you want to get in the big time, I'll vouch for you. But, ironically, SSDB is not gonna be our focus. Gloria and your band of skull-masked dipshits! You're not going to do my partner like that! If you want a war, you got one! You want gold"--she looks at the Tag Team Belts--"or Silver, just try and take it! Name your time and place!"
Match 5: Roxxie Hayes vs April Hawkins (c) - SUNRISE Moon Championship In the semi main event slot, Roxxie Hayes looked to become a 3-time Moon Champion against April Hawkins. This was an extremely even match, both women looked like they had it won in spots, trading near falls for near falls, but in the end, Roxxie Hayes got a submission win with a Cavernaria Dragon Sleeper.
Match 6: Olivia Jakun vs Nikkita Natrix (c) - SUNRISE World Championship And in the main event, Olivia Jakun sought to dethrone Nikkita Natrix, who was on the cusp of the one-year mark as SUNRISE World Champion. After a short feeling out period, both women began to go at a thousand miles per hour in frantic attempts to get a fall, with Nikkita hitting multiple Dominations in an attempt to instantly win via stoppage. In the end, after nearly 30 minutes in the first fall, Nikkita scored with a Kimura Lock. However, under the pressure of fighting both Nikkita and the clock, Olivia cracked, and fell to another Kimura Lock for Nikkita to go 2-0.
BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Olivia Jakun enters the interview room, in tears and grasping at her arm. After a short pause, she starts. "I'm not ashamed of my performance. Nikkita, you may have beaten me two-to-nothing, but you sure as hell took a while to do it. Are you losing your edge, oh mighty champion? You're going to lose that championship eventually, and whoever does dethrone you? They'll have to answer to me. Until then, celebrate, Nikkita. You did good tonight." (trans. from Finnish)
Flanked by the remainder of the Queens of Wrestling, including the new Tag Team Champions, Nikkita Natrix enters the interview room. "I have very little to say about Olivia that I haven't already, but I feel we may need a recap. Olivia, do you truly think you deserve this? You are a child trying to stand up to the goddesses of this industry. You will never hold this. Now, onto Jessie. You talk a big game, *first champ,* but you will not be able to back it up. The Queens of Wrestling run this place, and they will so long as there is life in our bodies. But who knows, Page, maybe you'll score a single fall. So, Page, get ready, because I'm going to be holding onto this belt when you try and take it from me." *_* - trans. from Russian And that's all! There should be a show on Thursday, but expect things to slow down a bit after that show. I hope to see you all there!

Equinox #2 Card Announcement 7/14: 9pm EST
Selena Beaumont vs Elaine Robinson Jessie Page vs Ritsuko Arashi Moon Championship Contendership Eliminator: Sydney Hall vs Amelia Black Nikkita Natrix, Anna Doyle, and Tori Watson vs Gloria Campbell, Elena Rose, and Lydia Anthouli
After the events of Coronation on Saturday, SUNRISE amps back up as the build to Top of The Mountain on August 27th begins!
The three rookies who debuted in the Coronation opener are going to be rolled out for their singles debuts, starting with Miss Murder herself, Elaine Robinson. Selena also looks to recover some momentum, after losing the Tag Team Championships to the Queens of Wrestling and splitting with Sassy Doll ahead of a singles run.
With her August 27th Challenge against Nikkita Natrix looming, Jessie Page looks to get some momentum against a returning Ritsuko Arashi.
With no contender for the Moon Championship following Roxxie Hayes’ win over April Hawkins, a mini-eliminator bracket has been set up, starting tomorrow with Hall vs Black. There’ll be 2 more eliminator matches coming over the weeks, and then the winners of those will compete in a triple threat, with the winner going on to challenge against Hayes at Top of The Mountain.
After the attack from the Skull Army following Tori and Marilyn Watson’s clash, the new Tag Team Champions seek some level of retribution against the invaders, as Nikkita Natrix has the opportunity to face her future challenger.
As I briefly alluded to in the Coronation recap, things are going to start winding down a bit after next week's show. I have some stuff coming up and won't have the time to do shows as much as I want to and won't be entirely free until November-ish, which leaves only a handful of shows, most of which is going to be dedicated to a pair of tournaments i'm going to announce sometime in October. I'll eventually have the rest of the schedule for the year, but for now, just don't expect a ton of stuff after next week's show. Either way, I hope I'll see some of yall in the twitch tomorrow!

Equinox #2 Results
A night of Criticals. So many Criticals. VOD is up on Twitch, will be on Youtube next week.
MATCH 1: Selena Beaumont vs Elaine Robinson To open things up on the night, Elaine Robinson took on Selena Beaumont. Both women walked in with a lot to prove, with Elaine making her singles debut and Selena looking for momentum as she started her singles run. Despite a decent effort, the rookie couldn't overcome Selena, and fell to a Power of NEO/Tigerdriver '91 Combo.
MATCH 2: Jessie Page vs Ritsuko Arashi In the 2nd match of the night, Jessie Page took on a returning Ritsuko Arashi. These two were fairly even throughout the match, but ultimately Arashi was able to hit the Stingray for the Knockout win. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Holding her right arm to her body, Ritsuko Arashi enters the interview room. "*Jessie was the #1 Contender, right? I did that to her, who knows how long she's gonna be out. Nikkita, I'm gonna give you an offer; you want someone worth your time? If Page isn't ready when the challenge rolls around, I'll take her place. I didn't come back to play second fiddle to anyone.*" *_* - trans. from Japanese Match 3: Sydney Hall vs Amelia Black In the semi-main event, Sydney Hall took on Amelia Black with a chance at Roxxie Hayes' Moon Championship on the table. Despite her efforts, Amelia Black quickly fell to a Critical Edge Eternal. Sydney now goes onto a triple threat against the winners of two other eliminators in the coming weeks, with the winner going on to Top of the Mountain to face Roxxie Hayes for the Championship.
Match 4: SKULL ARMY vs Queens of Wrestling And in the main event, the Skull Army, represented by Gloria Campbell, Elena Rose, and Lydia Anthouli, took on the Queens of Wrestling, represented by Nikkita Natrix, Tori Watson, and Anna Doyle. The new Tag Team Champions entered seeking retribution following the attack on Tori Watson after her match with Marilyn, while Natrix sought to scope out a future challenger. In the end, however, The Skull Army won, with Elena hitting the Blade of Thorns on Tag Champion Anna Doyle, cementing her and Lydia as possible contenders.
And that's all! We'll be back next thursday, but after that, we're gonna go on hiatus for a few weeks. Until then!

Equinox #3 Card 7/21: 9:30 PM EST or immediately after Warrior Pro's G2 Emily Holiday vs Sondra Blaidd Tag Championship Contender's Match: Hanran (Marilyn Watson and Trixie Sinclair) vs Skull Army (Elena Rose and Lydia Anthouli) Moon Championship Contendership Eliminator: Ritsuko Arashi vs Hana Brightly Moon Championship Contendership Eliminator: NADIA vs Aris White
Big implications for Top of The Mountain all around tomorrow night, with several #1 Contendership matches.
The rollout of the Coronation rookies continues, with the young high-flying prodigy of the group, Emily Holiday, taking on the Red Wolf, Sondra Blaidd, in her singles debut.
With a win over the Queens of Wrestling last week, the Skull Army now has a path open to contend for the Tag Team Championships. However, standing in their way is the only other team with a claim to be able to contend for the Queen's belts; Hanran's dedicated team of Marilyn Watson and Trixie Sinclair. The winners go on to face the Queens at Top of The Mountain!
Rounding out the night, you have the final qualifier matches for the Moon Championship. After her emphatic win over Jessie Page last week, Ritsuko Arashi has been placed in the Moon Championship Contendership matches against a visitor from Wrestle Parade in Hana Brightly--much to her displeasure.
After that, the final member of the Skull Army, the gleeful Sadist in Red, NADIA, makes her SUNRISE Debut, as she seeks to secure a path to the Moon Championship, but standing in her way is a motivated Aris White, as she seeks to bounce back from a series of lackluster showings and rise back to championship caliber.
And that's all! After this show, we're gonna go on a hiatus for 2 weeks, but shows should start back on either the 11th or 12th. I hope to see you all there tomorrow!

Equinox #3 Results
A night of a new star showing her mettle as the pathway to Top of The Mountain shifts. VOD is up on Twitch, will be uploaded to Youtube next week.
Match 1: Emily Holiday vs Sondra Blaidd To kick off the night's festivities, Emily Holiday made her singles debut against Sondra Blaidd. This match started at a thousand miles per hour and only escalated as it went on. Despite an extremely impressive showing from Emily for only her 2nd professional match, it wasn't enough to overcome the Red Wolf, as Blaidd scored the win after an Essex Destroyer. When Emily got back to her feet, and after the cameras stopped rolling, the two shook hands and walked to the back together.
Match 2: Hanran vs Skull Army In the first match of the night with Championship implications, Hanran, being represented by Marilyn Watson and Trixie Sinclair, took on Elena Rose and Lydia Anthouli of the Skull Army, with a shot at the Queens of Wrestling's Tag Team Championships up for grasps. This match was a war that could have gone either way, and came within two minutes of going to a draw, but in the end, Elena Rose tapped out to Trixie Sinclair's Hydrangea, mere moments before Lydia Anthouli could break the hold. With that win, Marilyn and Trixie will be facing Anna Doyle and Tori Watson for the Tag Team Championships at Top of The Mountain.
Match 3: Ritsuko Arashi vs Hana Brightly In the first Moon Championship Eliminator for the night, A less-than-enthusiastic Ritsuko Arashi took on Hana Brightly. Both women were fairly even throughout the match, but in the end, Hana could not overcome the Osaka Man o' War after falling to a Stingray. BACKSTAGE COMMENTS Ritsuko Arashi enters the Interview room with a displeased expression on her face. "*Moon Championship? Are you joking? Looking at what I did to Jessie, I should be challenging Nikkita for the World Championship. There's a conspiracy here, but I'll play along. You can try to undercut me, to deny me what I deserve, but in the end, it'll just be more gold for the Man o' War!*"
*__* - Trans. from Japanese Match 4: NADIA vs Aris White And in the main event of the night, the Skull Army's NADIA took on Aris White, with the final slot in the Moon #1 Contender's 3-Way up for grabs. NADIA spent much of the match wittling down Aris, while White honed in on NADIA's neck. In the end, a Canadian Destroyer into the Shooting Star Press put away the Sadist in Red, securing Aris entry into the Moon Championship scene, alongside Sydney Hall and Ritsuko Arashi.
And that's all! As I said when I announced the card, we're gonna go on a hiatus for two weeks while I work on some stuff outside of the fed. Some promos or something over that break, and shows should be back on the 11th or 12th!

We're almost at the end of our hiatus, and as promised, we have some promos and news on a new championship in SUNRISE!
The Queens of Wrestling react to their new #1 Contenders! As the dust settles after Marilyn Watson and Trixie Sinclair’s triumph over the SKULL ARMY’s Lydia Anthouli and Elena Rose, the current SUNRISE Tag Team Champions watch on from their locker room, while a cameraman hones in on the reactions of Tori Watson and Anna Doyle to their new contenders. “So, it’s us again,” Tori starts as she looks at the TV screen as it shows a live feed of the moment Elena Rose tapped out to Trixie's Hydranga. There’s a hesitance in her voice. “And so soon, too. I look forward to doing this again, Mary. Maybe you’ll be able to finally get your 2nd championship. But not at Top of The Mountain. As long as these belts belong to the Queens, you won’t even come close to holding these again. Let’s get going,” she says, tapping Anna’s shoulder as she gets up to leave the arena. As Anna rewatches the finish of the match one more time, a smirk comes across her face. “Oh, Trixie, I’ll enjoy making you tap out. Enjoy being able to use your arms until then.” Roxxie Hayes addresses her challengers!
The camera fades in to an enclosed room in the SUNRISE Dojo. As Roxxie Hayes looks into the lens, her Moon Championship slung over her shoulder, various wrestlers can be seen assisting in the onboarding of new trainees through a window. “So, my challenger’s gonna be either Sydney, Ritsuko...or Aris. All three of you are excellent wrestlers, the type I'd love to share a match with on the big stage, but something’s still missing. This is my 3rd reign, I’ve done a lot with this belt, so let’s change shit up! The three-way at the next Equinox, you three are in a triple threat. That's already settled, but let's up the stakes a little. Here’s what I’m thinking; you three are gonna have thirty minutes. Whoever’s still standing by the end of it gets the shot at Top of The Mountain. I may be facing only one of you, it could be a three-way if only one of you gets knocked out, hell, I may even get to face all three of you, if you’re still standing by the end of the night on the 11th, then congratulations, you’re getting a shot at this belt. See you in Charlotte, ladies.” The Birth of a new ChampionshipAnd finally, we’re finishing things off today with a bit of news for the fed! Soon, we’ll be seeing the introduction of our first new championship since the fed was founded. In the interest of not wasting time, Introducing the SUNRISE Eclipse Championship! Now, this is not the belt for the Go Fast Division I was testing on the Coronation pre-show (though that's still something I wanna toy around with. Maybe after our big hiatus/rework in December.) However, it IS another belt built around a gimmick, in that it’s sort of a Marathon championship. There is one simple rule to this belt: The championship must be defended on every non-tournament SUNRISE show in an open challenge against a mystery opponent. The first champion will be decided at Top of The Mountain on August 27th, But in the spirit of the belt's mystery opponent rules, I’ll play the participants close to my chest. (Another disclaimer for clarity, despite it's open challenge nature, This is a SUNRISE Belt, not a community belt, and as such it won't operate like the BGB/Lucha Crown/etc. If you want one of your edits to go for it, you can let me know and I'll do what I can to make it happen, though!)
And that’ll be all from me! Shows return next Thursday after the G2!
