I've been trying out livestreaming on Twitch. Considerably more fun than I had anticipated thus far, though it can be challenging to read comments & talk & play all at the same time.
There was a rather wild match on there last night; I've included the video below. It's set to begin right when things really started to pick up (TC 1:36:56) in the last match of the evening.
Elimination match: Ultimo Dragon (Lou) vs. Kevin Nash vs. Harley Race vs. Paul Jones vs. The Sheik vs. Bruiser Brody vs. Jake Lamotta vs. Toru Yano

Fun main event from yesterday morning's livestream, with knockouts aplenty and an intense closing stretch.

This was great fun: Jun Akiyama vs. Tetsuya Naito in a CPU-simmed match.

Yesterday I simmed another really entertaining Jun Akiyama match, this time against WALTER. 1 fall, 30 minute time limit.

So I've been working on improving my skills at Shotcut, and I have plenty of Fire Pro matches in the archive to work with on that. Ended up with these highlight videos.

This was fun. Simmed an NJPW vs. AEW Best of 7 show at Korakuen Hall. It legit went 3-3 (including a shocking loss by Hiroshi Tanahashi to Danhausen) to set up the final match, which proved to be worthy of the main event spot.

Dakota shared a KBS Arena (Kyoto, Japan) stained glass wall design over in Carlzilla's Discord that looks amazing. I finally set it up on my system and found that a HCTP-style cam view, zoomed out a bit, works very well if you use blanks for the BL front-side fans and the FL (Facing Left) fans. Standing fans for FR look the most realistic.
I used a few different floors for my first wave of simmed matches with the stained glass wall, though Dakota created a red floor reflective of the real-life building for anyone wanting that.

So I figured out how to create standing fans for the crowd (FR and FL, at least) relatively easily using a program called Character Creator 2D. $27 USD price tag, but already well worth it for me. CC2D is available as a stand-alone, so you don't need to know how to write code in Unity to use it. Not every animation will be what you want, as CC2D was designed more for generating fighting characters for video games as opposed to pro wrestling fans at a show. But you only get five frames total for Fire Pro audience members, so there are some inherent limitations as-is. The crowd shadowing on the stoic men in suits created a rather ominous vibe for Original Tiger Mask vs. Daisuke Sekimoto. This also increases load time, even on higher-end machines.
