Here's a video from my Fire Promoter mode stream from last night, in November of Year 4 of my game with Mike Awesome vs. Rob Van Dam. Lesson learned about being careful in booking inter-promotional shows.

This was a fun 100% rated simmed match to call in Fire Promoter mode: Austin Aries & Rich Swann vs. T-Hawk & Zhao Yilong. Complete with a new B-R Live/AEW themed ring design.

Back from a bit of a break after a long run in Fire Promoter mode. I gained an appreciation for how time-intensive that can be.
Might end up live streaming on Twitch the simmed matches as I'm record them for my Fire Pro YouTube channel. We'll see.
This match turned out to be great fun -- Jon Moxley and Shota "Shooter" Umino vs. Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) with a 100% match rating. As always, thanks to Carlzilla for his hard work with the Mod Pack.

So I tried out the crowd size mod which allows for empty seats. It functions properly, but unfortunately the fans in that top section near the ramp really stick out as not looking toward the ring on closer views. But I tried it with High Zoom view and it worked much better. Here's 25% for Baron Corbin vs. The Great Khali:
I'm not sure how often I'll utilize this with simmed matches, as the idea is to have matches that are entertaining and the wide shot takes away from that to a significant degree. But as a novelty it makes for a fun view.

Within the heel database, there is a toggle on whether you want a given wrestler's taunts to be booed. Might sound like a small thing, but it really adds to the fun.
Remarkably, this Vader & Sid Vicious vs. Dennis Rodman & Toru Yano match got a 100% rating. Much more entertaining than I had anticipated (in part because of the booing), longer too for that matter, particularly with fast-counting Marty Asami.

Yeah the heel database is a godsend! It's a nice work around if you don't want your heel to have the heel fighting style. Also where can I get those sweet looking arenas with the yellow guardrail? They look very nice! :)

Also where can I get those sweet looking arenas with the yellow guardrail? They look very nice! :) Here you go with the yellow guard rails. Also have blue so I'll include that as well. If there are any other elements you want, please let me know. Thanks as always to the people who put in so much hard work to make this possible. This match turned out much better than I had anticipated: Kane vs. Cain Velasquez at Arena Mexico!

The new arena DLC has been purchased, and I've simmed a couple of matches at all three. Using the USA Grand Dome with the red floor is a bit different. But it's wonderful to finally have some new venues to choose.
Normally I don't include intros, between it taking too long to get to the action and concerns about overzealous algorithms zapping videos with music. Plus the unwieldy UI makes it difficult to set up.
But if you want to, you can. And that's part of the fun of Fire Pro.
And since the new DLC includes some intro customization, I decided to give it a try. It was definitely fun to do as a one-off: Atsushi Onita vs. Bruiser Brody.

Two very long Aztec Warfare matches here: The Thanksgiving 200 and the Black Friday 300. The latter took more than nine hours to complete. I was quite surprised to wake up after a full night's sleep to discovered the match was still happening.

Things okay your way Lou? Alot of damage in my county, but it sounds like putnam county got the worst.Looks like Nashville took a big shot though. Just wanted to check in on ya. Thank you for thinking of me with the Nashville tornado. I have a roof leak at my house, but luckily that's all. Some people lost everything. And yes, Putnam County got it really bad. A buddy of mine lives near Cookeville and fortunately his place didn't sustain any major damage, but he was without power for awhile. Another friend has a child that attends Donelson Christian Academy, which was all but leveled by the storm. Basement East has hosted all sorts of pro wrestling shows in recent years, but it was severely damaged. Yet the I Believe In Nashville mural on the building remarkably was in an area where the wall was still up. I've used that mural for corner turnbuckle designs for awhile now in Fire Pro sims, like in this match: In less serious talk, I've been trying things out with empty arenas. Related note: I love the redesigned Mod Pack from Carlzilla. Much easier to navigate via the tabs. Early on in my Fire Pro Wrestling World simming, I learned early that Free Cam + tag team = bad idea. Camera starts jerking around like WWE Shaky Cam. But in playing around with camera angles with the empty arena, I discovered that the "Iron Slam 17" angle actually works better in some ways than the default, especially with managers/seconds. It's not constantly zooming out to show a wider shot with a manager just standing there. Also, there is the bonus of not seeing a partner running in to make the save until right before he or she enters the viewing area. A little bit of extra drama like you'd see in a well-directed broadcast. In addition, I've learned that Cam AI is actually *very* valuable to use, if for nothing else to get it to open on a default view instead of me madly clicking the Apply box trying to get it to open directly on my Crowd cam shot. Here's an entertaining 100% evaluated match that uses the Iron Slam 17 angle on Free Cam. Not perfect when it comes to outside the ring, but overall a fun/different view. Tito Santana & Eddie Guerrero vs. Mr. Perfect & Rick Rude (with Bobby Heenan)

I've had fun experimenting with the crowd lighting mod made by Carlzilla. Using the "Iron Slam 17" view on Free Cam at Korakuen in conjunction with darkening the crowd lighting makes the wrestlers really stand out. All I had to do was drop the brightness by 40 or 45 in paint.net and it really improved, albeit in a circa 1986 WWF Boston Garden show on NESN kind of way.
And this was a remarkably entertaining match: Steve Austin & Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Taichi & Enzo Amore. Seriously, it was great.

Warning: This match is very long and tedious. It was never supposed to be like this. Ricky Steamboat vs. Vince McMahon, I Quit Landmine deathmatch. Critical was turned up to high, yet the match kept going. And going. I might also mention this match took place in a ring on the roof of a tower thanks to the outstanding texture design of Lord2nz. And the occasional battles on the ledge of the building were quite something, might post a comp of just the ledge fights later. But at some point it began to feel like a knockoff Jon Bois "Breaking Madden" experiment. My computer seemingly tried to stop the monstrosity, with the action slowing down to the point of a Ricky Steamboat leapfrog going wrong as Steamboat landed on top of a glacier-slow VKM on a leapfrog attempt. The slowdown was having a direct effect on the match itself. The rules of physics had been bent. It took more than an hour, but finally referee Earl Hebner had seen enough. Hebner took a ref bump and stayed down. But Steamboat and Vince kept battling. At one point, finally Steamboat gave in to the dark side, wielding a kendo stick.
But the battle wouldn't end, even when Vince broke out a fork and started stabbing Steamboat in the head with it. That was unexpected. System slowdown kicked in big-time, and finally I had to call an end to it.
