I don't know if this is the best thread to post it in, but in this day and age, it's so surreal to me how easy it is to interact with professional wrestlers.
I don't go out of my way to get noticed by them, but it's these chance encounters that really make me happy that I'm a wrestling fan.
I've interacted with three wrestlers (so far):
The first was Lince Dorado. I was working on a mockup appearance for JAGUAR Dorado (one of my original edits) on Fire Pro Returns. I posted screenshots of him on Twitter. Phoenix Nitro ended up retweeting the post and tagging Lince Dorado. He said he'd like to make gear based on it one day - It was a Roman Legionnaire themed attire, complete with harness and everything.
The second was Human Tornado, an indy wrestler. I'm not sure how popular he is, but I've seen a little bit of his stuff. Some kind of blaxploitation character, I think. Anyhow: He came into my Twitch chat really briefly and was gone before I could respond properly - I was AFK momentarily at the time. I don't know if this one really counts, but I do anyways.
The third was Marty "the Moth" Martinez, from Lucha Underground. This one happened just this morning, another Twitch encounter. I'm super skeptical when someone uses a name similar to a professional wrestler anywhere, so I did my research. Lo and behold, His Twitch account matches his official Twitter account. He mentioned that someone created him in Fire Pro, and it turns out that someone did. He asked what the game was like and we had a short conversation about it. I told him it wasn't anything like the 2K games, but was still fun it is own way. I told him about the stuff people have made, how the game functions, and that sort of stuff.
I try not to follow or interact with most wrestlers because I like to maintain a certain element of kayfabe. Amusingly enough, I wonder if I'll ever get noticed by Psycho Clown if I spam enough Magistral Cradle gifs, lol.
