Joshi Puroresu CASSANDRA began as an experimental roster project about two years ago. The goal was to create 64 "rookie-like" edits who share similarities, but are ultimately different from one another. Mechanically, each edit has equal Parameter spreads (4:1 Offense/Defense). Some of them have Special Skills, while others do not - This was done to make specific characters more unique than others. Many of the wrestlers are parodies of or are inspired by joshi promotions throughout history - TJPW and STARDOM are the most obvious inspirations, but some edits harken back to the 90s "Golden Era" of Joshi Puroresu. The roster is a "next generation" continuation of previous rosters, but are not necessarily affiliated with other edits within the TYPHOON PRO promotional universe. They exist in their own bubble and are designed to compete and function within that bubble.
Shows do not follow a "weekly" episodic format. They will happen as frequently or infrequently as they do - There could be a show tomorrow, or next week, in four weeks, six months, a year, so on and so forth. Any developments from previous shows may or may not affect subsequent shows. The cards are developed "on the fly", are "meme-y" in nature and, as such, match cards will not be provided ahead of time. The only plan is show duration, which will average an hour/hour and a half - Episode 0 is an exception, being two hours long.
This thread will act largely as an archive and the roster will be sorted and posted eventually as it's in perpetual developmenthell. Actual edit releases (should they come to pass) will be posted in the TYPHOON PRO thread in the Creativity section of the board. Do not ask me here nor there when an edit may be released. These requests will be ignored.
