Very interesting, thanks. It is strange why the developers did not complete these wrestlers. Maybe due to the lack of appropriate movements of these wrestlers. Some wrestlers simply ended their careers by 1995 or performed rarely. It was logical to add them to the legend roster. The whole "hidden Wrestlers in Edit mode" trend started in the previous game: Super Fire Pro-Wrestling Special. There's two schools of thought: 1) The developers ran out of time or RAM when designing character portraits (116 character portraits takes up a lot of space, I'd imagine). 2) These templates are hidden surprises that the fans would enjoy "discovering" and then subsequently putting together themselves.

It's a pity that they used the fictional wrestlers from Blazing Tornado, they just took up some of the RAM for nothing. And how many moves are there in premium? I met different information on the Internet, 500 or even 700.
There is another funny bug, the video explains

Ah, another humorous glitch I forgot about. Certain Wrestlers will try to perform a plancha/suicida to the outside but keep running into a turnbuckle when controlled by the CPU.
Have any of you played Fire Pro Wrestling for WonderSwan? It's essentially an update to X Premium that came out four years later on the WonderSwan handheld console.
For starters, Andre The Giant and Giant Baba are unlockable!

No, I have never had this portable device. And through the emulator is not very nice. Found for sale, is this a page from the guide?

No, I have never had this portable device. And through the emulator is not very nice. Found for sale, is this a page from the guide? This isn't in the guidebook I have. Keep in mind, there are multiple guidebooks for each game in the Fire Pro series. The above edit templates were all created using pre-existing Wrestlers (save for Gran Naniwa). The Wrestlers are: First Black Panther (1st Black Tiger) Denny The Sky Yumide (Benny Urquidez) Amakusa Kenji (Shunji Takano) Burning Hamauchi (Animal Hamaguchi) Muran Naniwa (Gran Naniwa) Macho Savage (Randy Savage) Naoki Yano (Naoki Sano) Lord. B. Lawful (William Regal)

The more I look at the cover model (who first appeared on the cover of Final Bout), the more I think the Wrestler is a portmanteau of 80's and 90's Puroresu. The mascot has the red robe and fight towel of Antonio Inoki. The long hair and ring gear of 90's shoot fighters such as Masakatsu Funaki and Akira Maeda, along with the dramatic, jumping the rope entrance like Luchadors Mil Mascaras or Tiger Mask.

Page 30 of the Super Fire Pro-Wrestling X Edit Wrestler Guide (1996 - T2 Publishing) features an advertisement for Super Fire Pro-Wrestling X Premium and the X-BAND accessory.
With the use of a phone line and a subscription service to use the X-BAND modem accessory, players in Japan could face one another in Super Fire Pro-Wrestling
X Premium.
As the art of simming was beginning to pick up momentum in the Fire Pro community, the above advertisement also mentions the ability to play 1P VS CPU battles (though, CPU vs CPU simmed battles was not possible).

The Infinite Foot Stomp Glitch:
Blazing Tornado bonus character Ho Ying Long is one of the most lethal combatants in the SFPWX roster. Not only can the speedy martial artist cause Critical knockouts with many of his strikes/grapples, Long can also perform a very cheap top rope glitch that can spell the end for many an opponent rather quickly.
Step 1.) After the opponent has taken enough damage, guide the opponent over to the left or right turnbuckles. Step 2) While near the left or right turnbuckles, perform Long's Sobat spin kick (B button - front grapple) Step 3) After the opponent has fallen to the ground, run towards the left or right turnbuckle (X + left or right) Step 4) Just before you reach the turnbuckle, press A to climb the turnbuckle. Step 5) From the top ropes press B to perform Long's Diving Double Foot Stomp. Step 6) Run towards and climb the turnbuckle again to repeat the pattern. As Long's Double Foot Stomp isn't a pin move, nor is it considered a stomp technique, Long can repeat the Foot Stomp infinitely. Once satisfied, go for a Camel Clutch (A at head of downed opponent - face down) to win via submission.

SFPWXP allows you to re-enter the ring by using either the Y or B button. I came across something that when translated I interpreted to mean that one of those buttons preserves "ring out", while the other does not. However, when trying to reproduce that, I haven't had any success. Both buttons allow me to re-enter the ring, but if I then exit the ring while the opponent is still outside and the count hits 20, my wrestler is still counted out. I even tried re-entering on the other side of the ring to see if that made a difference (like you would in real life to not interrupt a referee's count), but still the same thing. Can anyone figure out what the separate buttons do exactly? Maybe they split the buttons but never actually implemented the functionality due to time constraints? I think those commands are meant for re-entering the ring in tag matches; I've never heard of alternate methods to re-enter the ring by normal means. On the subject of lesser-known X Premium controls: Kneel position: if you press THEN hold Y,B,X or A, you can raise your character to a kneeling stance while laying on the ground. Stay on the ground longer: hold Y,B,X or A while laying on the ground. Double Impact: Approach opponent for back grapple and Press R to lift opponent onto shoulders. Only possible in tag matches where both tag partners are in the ring. Restrain opponent: similar setup to the Double Impact, but hold R + any directional button to restrain an opponent during a back grapple in tag matches. Also requires both partners in the ring at the same time. Additionally, if you hold A while running towards the corner post with Wrestlers like Ultimo Dragon, Tiger Mask, Great Sasuke or Hayabusa, you can climb the top ropes much faster.

Just found a weird glitch- came off the top rope with a diving elbowdrop to the inside of the ring. The elbowdrop knocked out my opponent, and the referee called for the bell just as I was applying a figure four hold.
The win was credited to my player, but the Figure Four hold was credited as the winning move even though I barely touched the guy's leg!
Did the Elbow Drop cause a critical? If so, which Wrestler did you use?

Under normal match settings, you can't exit the ring until either you or your opponent have been thrown out of the ring. After the opponent (or you) have been thrown out, press: Left + B - exit from the left side of the ring Right + B - exit from the right side of the ring To re-enter the ring from outside, use the following commands:Up + Right + Y or B - enter the ring from the left side. Up + Left + Y or B - enter the ring from the right side.

Cloning a Champion:If your created Wrestler has won the triple crown belts in both the singles and tag team divisions of World Championship mode, the Wrestler will unlock six stars (representing the triple crown belts) next to their portrait on the character selection screen. Additionally, completing both divisions will also unlock an additional 50 skill points that can be used in Edit mode, giving the created Wrestler the option to have perfect stats. Normally, these skill points are only available to the created Wrestlers who won both divisions. That is, unless the player saves a copy of the created Wrestler to another slot in Edit mode.
Cloning a created Wrestler who has 150 edit points and the triple crown belts will carry over to another save.

In SFPWX & X Premium, players who successfully complete World Championship mode will be awarded three gold stars next to their Wrestlers' names. The top row indicates the three Triple Crown Belts won in the singles division of World Championship mode, while the bottom row represents the trio of titles won in Championship's tag team division. Once a Wrestler has won either championship, the game does not keep track of the number of repeat titles won. Just in case you were wondering, winning the triple crown belts in both divisions with every Wrestler (including the 80 extra spots for CAW's created in Edit mode) doesn't unlock anything. Well, other than bragging rights...
