I don't have any new edits right now, but I thought I might as well share the stables that currently exist within All Out Wrestling.
The A-List:
L to R: Selina Matasevi, Mercedes Kim, Violet Black
The A-List is a heel trio consisting of movie star Violet Black, part-time actress Mercedes Kim and Selina Matasevi, a wrestler who took up a bodyguard persona when she started teaming with Violet and Mercedes. Most of the legit offense for the team goes through Matasevi, while the other two mostly get up to their heel antics.
The CANUX:
L to R: Eddie Diaz, Aaron Flynn, Adam York and Phoenix Lee
Four friends, four different styles, one city. All four members of the CANUX were born and raised together in the Vancouver metro area in very close proximity to each other. Eddie is the huge powerhouse, Aaron works a more fast-paced style, Adam is known for getting into stiff-fests and Phoenix is a vicious MMA fighter, willing to do anything to get her way in a match.
Baker Street:
L to R: Luther Baker, Greg Baker, Ray Baker
Bully Ray is currently pounding on my door. The Bakers started life as a parody of the Dudley Boyz, but they've kind of gained life as their own characters over time, even if they share some visual similarities with the actual Dudleys. Luther is the big bruser who is willing to do anything to win, Greg is a deceptively agile wrestler with a lot more understanding of the ring psychology than the other two Bakers, and Ray is a very small wrestler (4'8", the shortest member of All Out Wrestling's roster) who has a particular talent for sneaking out wins over people who tower over him.
Skandalous:
L to R: Mike Sakamoto, Jose Jimenez, Cynthia James, Roy Drogba and Brock Wyatt
Pickituppickituppickituppickitup. Skandalous are a group of SoCal kids contributing to an attempt to bring about a fourth wave of ska and so far, it looks like they're succeeding. The stable actually runs a ska band behind the scenes and are known for having very energetic shows. And that energy definitely carries over to their wrestling style. They've been tag champions a few times over and have been with AOW from the beginning.
Best (Girl)Friends:
Amber Woods & Taylor Hill
A team made up of actual romantic partners in Taylor Hill and Amber Woods, the two are known for looking out for each other whenever they can. Amber generally works a much more mysterious style that no one can quite predict, while Taylor works a very high-octane style, with many flips and dives to her name. Her finisher's even a triple lotation moonsault!
The Jersey Connection:
Kareem McKay and Sasha Brixton
Kareem McKay and Sasha Brixton came together by pure chance one show and clicked instantly. In that show, they won the tag titles and decided to join forces officially as The Jersey Connection. Both members of the team work more of a technical style, especially McKay. McKay can and will airplane spin you if you aren't careful, or he can take you down with a sleeper hold, while Brixton is a major threat with her take on the Ganso bomb/Kawada Driver and her frog splash off the top. (P.S. Brixton's attire here is intended as a tribute to the New Jersey Devils)
Backyard Bros:
L to R: Tyson Matsuda, Brad Jackson and Avery Jackson
The Backyard Bros are a trio of deathmatch wrestlers who made their name in CZW in the mid-2010s. Brother and sister Brad and Avery are South Philly natives who grew up on the street right next to the 2300 Arena and regularly got taken to shows by their dad during its dying days. Tyson moved to Philly from Ohio during high school following an altercation between his mother and his sister. He became friends with Avery and later Brad through their joint interest in wrestling and not long after finishing high school, the trio showed up in CZW. Their time with the company came to an abrupt end after Avery suffered a severe injury during a match that left them questioning whether they should keep doing deathmatches, or even wrestling in general. They chose to continue, but rather with All Out Wrestling, where the three work regular stipulation matches now, but Tyson and Brad still do deathmatches here and there.
Compact Bruisers:
Benny Ward and Justin Zane
The Compact Bruisers are two cruiserweight heels who think they're hot stuff and could beat anyone put in front of them. The two members of the team, Benny Ward and Justin Zane, go way back. Ward was Zane's first opponent on the American indies after coming over from Wales, and he was also Zane's first rival on the indies. Over time, they've developed a kayfabe friend-foe back and forth, and nobody quite knows when they'll be friends and they won't be. Zane does most of the promo work for the team and is considered very charismatic by most fans, while Ward tends to be the one to stay quiet and beat up anyone in their way.
Travis Fox and Sonya Bird:
These two are very egotistical heels. They don't even think they need a nickname! The two tend to work a very rough style with a very certain specialisation. Travis is known for finding many ways in which he can catch somebody with a cutter, while most of Sonya's signature moves are finishers of those who got big during WWE's Attitude Era, with the exception of her finisher, the Dead Red Driver.
The Two Pillars:
Tiger Driver and Bernie Hammer
This team was created out of a very bad pun. Tiger Driver and Bernie Hammer are two guys who have toured the Japanese and Australian indies a lot as a duo and have finally gotten their big break in All Out Wrestling. Both of them have become very credible contenders in their own right. Driver as a big-time high flyer with some stiff kicks, Hammer with his stiff lariats and power moves.
Power Players:
L to R: Jade Ahmed, Louis White, Murray Adams
The Power Players are a trio who go back quite a bit. Louis is a native of upstate New York, being raised near Syracuse. Murray's a native of Tempe, Arizona and Jade was born in Uganda, but her family emigrated to upstate New York when she was very young. Louis and Jade met in elementary school and have had a tight friendship since, while they met Murray in high school after his family also moved to the area, and became friends with Louis and Jade not long after. Most of the Power Players' gimmick came from Jade, who has had a general ennthusiasm for video games for most of her lives, going as far as to base her attires for every major show after video game characters such as Dante from Devil May Cry. Louis is known as a technical expert, while Jade focuses more on power moves and Murray works a very agile style for his size.
Latina Heat
Sofia Magalhaes and Tia Garcia
Latina Heat is a team based around having a good time while wrestling. The two members, Sofia Magalhaes and Tia Garcia, hail from Brazil and Argentina respectively. Both of them like to work somewhat of a high flying style, although Magalhaes is capable of holding her own on the ground if need be.
Harder, Better, Faster, Strong Style:
Guy Beaubois and Tomas Miroslavic
I'm sorry. Harder, Better, Faster, Strong Style are two diehard Daft Punk fans who have modeled their entire gimmick around the two helmeted DJs, even if they did break up. Even with the name, neither really work strong style. Beaubois is a high flyer and Miroslavic is a technician. They aren't to be taken lightly either, Miroslavic had a very impressive showing in the first official iteration of AOW's league, where he finished as the runner-up to Mark Snyder.
AJ Mohammad and Seong-Ji Kang
A team put together for AOW's tag league, AJ and Seong-Ji were placed in the bracket for unofficial teams. For being very unfamiliar with one another, the two dominated the bracket and eventually defeated the established team of Partyhouse in order to become champions of the tag league and have a title shot lined up at the next major show as a reward. The two work very high flying styles.
Partyhouse:
L to R: Amy Espada, Art Ireland, Will Azubuike, Adriann Griffin
The reigning kings and queens of AOW's trios title, Partyhouse started as a sort of mix between Bayley's face gimmick and the New Day in terms of their attitude. Very bouncy, very happy and very good in the ring. They've defended their titles better than most in AOW ever have and they sure don't seem like they'll drop them any time soon. Espada's the leader of the group and she's been making a very good case for being a world title contender herself, overcoming a lot of very tough opponents in singles scenarios.
The (Hockey) Enforcers
David Catlin and Mark Snyder
Catlin and Snyder are both hockey guys. They're going to fight to the bitter end. They've used that resiliency to gain the tag titles. Catlin is particularly renowned for taking most of his opponents super deep into matches, with a lot of his matches going over 20 minutes unless he puts it away early. Snyder on the other hand, is an absolute tank, even by hockey standards. 6'8 and 260lbs, he tends to resort to slamming his opponents to the mat in a huge variety of ways, although he gets caught by submissions very often.
