For my first pick, I am very excited to choose: Alp Line Express: Handsome Jeffery Alpine and Son of Krampus.
Jeffery is an exclusive pick but Son of Krampus is non-exclusive so someone else can share him with me if they choose him. Not surprised Jefferey went early. They don't call him Handsome for nothing! lol
Krampus could be a rare tag partner, like when Jefferey is down and out and in need; he can summon his personal demon to tag with him.

The draft is coming along quite nicely, so far. I hope everyone has gotten their first picks! I had a question about edits post draft which I should have asked pre draft. If someone is make a contributor to an edit via steam, does changes made to the edit by the drafter change the edit for both? So if I make desertpunk a contributor on steam, does change they make to Nathan greenbeans effect my version of nathan? No they would have to make a copy of the edit to make any changes And just to add on that, I wanted to tell TSP the way I actually work with subscribed edits. I make a clone of them, save the clone to my game, and use that clone going forward. When I subscribe to an edit, they go into the "Retired" section automatically. I temporarily put them in another group then I go to "Wrestler Edit" mode. From there I select "Create New Edit" then "Model Wrestler". Then I choose the edit I subscribed to as the "Model Wrestler" (the template) and save the new one (the clone) as my edit. I put them in the group I actually want them to go. Then I move the subscribed edit back to "Retired." The thing is that the game doesn't recognize edits in the "Retired" section for my "Model Wrestler" process so I have to take them out of that section then put them back after. I don't touch the actual subscribed edit after that. It's just a template. All the work I do is on the new edit that I created from the subscribed edit and put in the group I wanted. Like faulk mentioned, you can't actually edit wrestlers that you subscribe to, even with contributor status. You have to do my method and then the clone becomes the edit to work on. The original edit, uploaded by the original creator, isn't affected at all. So you don't have to worry about the changes people make affecting your edits as they are. Only you can affect your edits. There's one edit who's appearance really stood out to me, that just had something untangible that drew me to him more than any other edit. For that reason, it only feels appropriate that my first pick coming to Blue Thunder Pro is.... I would say that glorious beard is tangible but I totally get what you mean!! 😄 Great edit choice, raven! Goro has a glorious mane and a fighting spirit to match! (Also, I do apologize for the delay. I've been busy with family. I had been checking pretty regularly up until it was actually my turn, LOL.) The gesture is appreciated but there is no apology necessary. You chose very early in your draft window. IF you know that you will be busy for a day or two and are worried you may miss your window, you can feel free to PM me a list of your draft edits. If you aren't around during your window, I can make the draft pick for you. But I usually let about 24 hours pass to give people a chance to make the picks themselves. Right now I have DP and Kidcage's draft lists but I waited for them to pick their edits since it was early in their window. Side note EDIT My healths in shambles, My personal life atm is Fire Pro and New vegas and I got a job that requires long hours; not leaving me much free time. But the Bengals actually won 2 playoffs games. So i'm convinced I'm in a alternate reality lol. You worked really hard finishing up edits for this draft. Get some rest!! I hope that you feel better soon. Don't be stressed about the draft or the edits on the Workshop or anything like that. Enjoy the Bengals victory! 🐯 Not surprised Jefferey went early. They don't call him Handsome for nothing! lol Krampus could be a rare tag partner, like when Jefferey is down and out and in need; he can summon his personal demon to tag with him. Literally what I was thinking about for Krampus. Almost like a Finn Balor/Demon type of situation but instead of being the demon, Jeffery would summon Krampus when he needs to. I definitely want to establish him first though on his own. I see Jeffery as a new rookie junior ace for me. He had #1 draft pick and super push written all over him from the very moment that I saw him!! 🏆

Mario Gallo will be my pick for Round one, plain and simple. Guy gives me an aura of operating a no-frills style whilst paradoxically being a show-off about it.

Nena Flippo approaches the podium. She appear very happy, as she comically whips away sweat from her brow. “With the last pick of the first road, Blood Blossom Wrestling selects Ryo Sakura.”
Nena Flippo steps away from the podium and checks her phono. “Oh interesting. This is gonna be fun.” Nena steps back to the microphone. “With the first pick of the second round, Blood Blossom Wrestling selects Lexes Mercury.”
Both picks are non-exclusive.

As for round two? Geno White is my next pick.Guy was my jam back in Federation Online. I wonder if someone is up to task of making his original finisher intended by the guy who made him, which would be a Powerbomb --> Leg Drop to Groin.

Hey so I do have a question on exclusive vs. non-exclusive picks.
I know in the first thread it was mentioned in the context of if someone makes a late pick.
But I was wondering about if someone voluntarily says a pick is non-exclusive, does that then mean anyone can then use the draft edit, or that it can still be drafted?
I presume if someone notes an edit as non-exclusive someone else cant then draft said edit and say it's exclusive (as far as other people are concerned)
Also, and maybe this comes to personal preference but in terms of like, different e-feds working together, non-exclusive is for the base edit, and using the final edit with any modifications that the person made to it more comes down to talking to said person right?
I guess what I'm trying to think through in a long winded way, is you could then have multiple entirely different edits that are basically all just different versions of the same base edit. Like let's say I make Goro Murakami non-exclusive, I've already made some non-trivial changes to moveset, just based on my own preferences and vision for the edit. I'll also be fiddling with params and logic. But if it's non-exclusive, that would then mean someone could have a "Goro Murakami" that wrestles very differently. Like I leaned far more into a heavyweight strong-style vision for the edit, but someone else might make him more of a pure powerhouse, or a heavyweight submission specialist, etc etc. Which would all be reasonable directions imo given the base edit.
But assuming minor to no changes are made to appearance and the name is the same, you could have some very different "Goro Murakami"s out there.
Which is not to say that's bad. I just want to make sure I understand the implications.
I presume I could alternately make an edit semi non-exclusive (You can use it but change the name and appearance at least enough to where it's not the same edit) or just make clear people can use my edit in their feds once im done (And alternately make more minor tweaks in things like logic and params to fit the style of their fed while keeping the character essentially the same)
But yeah I'm sure I'm overthinking this, I'm just trying to understand I guess.

Hey so I do have a question on exclusive vs. non-exclusive picks. I know in the first thread it was mentioned in the context of if someone makes a late pick. Right, so let's say I miss my eligibility window for a round. And I come to the boards like a day later (during someone else's picks). I can choose someone for the round that I missed. But it has to be someone who is still available and it can only be a non-exclusive pick. So anyone else can still choose that edit in the future. They can make it non-exclusive as well but they don't have to. But I was wondering about if someone voluntarily says a pick is non-exclusive, does that then mean anyone can then use the draft edit, or that it can still be drafted? It means that they can still be drafted. Let's use an example. For my first round I picked the team of Jeffery Alpine and Son of Krampus. I chose Jeffery as an exclusive pick (so no one else can choose him at all) but I chose Son of Krampus as a non-exclusive pick. It doesn't mean that anyone can use Son of Krampus at all. It just means that someone else can pick him down the line for their choice during a round. Let's say you want Son of Krampus in the future. During your eligibility window, you can choose him as an exclusive or non-exclusive edit. It's totally your choice if you draft him during your window. If you choose him as exclusive, then that means no one else can use him besides you and I. If you choose him as non-exclusive, then someone else can draft him in the future and make the same choice. (If you draft him late after your window is over, then it's non-exclusive as I said at the top of this post). I presume if someone notes an edit as non-exclusive someone else cant then draft said edit and say it's exclusive (as far as other people are concerned) Let's say I draft Edit 1 and say it's non-exclusive. Then you draft Edit 1 and say it's exclusive. Your exclusivity prevents everyone other than me from having access to the edit. You can't prevent anyone who drafted the edit non-exclusively before you from using them though. But you can prevent anyone after you from drafting them. So it's not retroactive. Also, and maybe this comes to personal preference but in terms of like, different e-feds working together, non-exclusive is for the base edit, and using the final edit with any modifications that the person made to it more comes down to talking to said person right? If I'm understanding your question correctly, I would say that different people who have access to a non-exclusive edit can modify the base edit in any way that they want. So if both you and I have drafted Son of Krampus, we can both change him however we want, book him/present him in our e-feds however we want. We certainly could communicate about booking between our feds if we want but we don't have to. The base edit was made by the original creator but you and I would be subscribing to him and saving him to our own individual games. From then on, what we want to do with the edits is our individual choice. I talked a little bit about the subscribing/saving process in my response to TSP late last night. criticalclub.com/post/52831There's a base edit that was uploaded by the creator. Anyone who drafts that edit (exclusive or non-exclusive) subscribes to that edit, then saves the edit to their own game so that they can modify it. Exactly. If Goro is non-exclusive and multiple people draft him, there could be two or more Goro Murakamis in the community and they could wrestle very differently. Our e-feds don't have to acknowledge that there is a different version or not. I know that I modify every edit that I draft. Which is not to say that's bad. I just want to make sure I understand the implications. You completely understand the implications! 💡 I presume I could alternately make an edit semi non-exclusive (You can use it but change the name and appearance at least enough to where it's not the same edit) or just make clear people can use my edit in their feds once im done And alternately make more minor tweaks in things like logic and params to fit the style of their fed while keeping the character essentially the same) The bolded section is what I have tended to do ever since the drafts started (like 10 years ago or so). I draft an edit then modify/complete it for my feds. And then I usually post it for other people to use for casual simming with the agreement that it's my edit and that other e-feds can only book them officially with my permission. When someone uses one of my edits (whether I got it from a draft or not), I always allow them to change anything about the edit for casual simming. After all, my fed's point totals may differ considerably. But when someone wants to use my edits for their fed (especially for streaming or VOD), I do want them to ask me permission to book them and to make any significant changes (like moves or logic). But yeah, I think you definitely have a very strong grasp on the implications of non-exclusive. I will continue to draft some edits exclusively and others non-exclusively. TSP is drafting everyone non-exclusively so that means he's certainly allowed to use the edits he draft but other people can draft them too. I really hope that this answered all of your questions. Please feel more then free to follow up 😎
