Can anyone tell me some must have mods, especially in regards to the EDIT mode. Shortcuts, QOL, ETC

For edits, the Mod Pack is what you need.
There are plenty of options you can check when patching the mod in, but just about everything related to making edits is built in without checking any extra boxes on the patcher.
Keep in mind that there are some options in the Mod Pack that would prevent you from uploading an edit. For example, you can link to grapple moves via priority logic with the Mod Pack, but someone who downloads that edit would have their game crash if their game is unmodded. On the upload screen, you’re blocked from uploading edits that would cause those crashes. Custom countries of origin would do the same.
With the Mod Pack, there are some really nice QoL additions to edit mode. A couple that stand out to me are using longer names, any taunt being available in the entrance slot, and automatic tagging of required DLC and custom parts/moves used when uploading. None of that stuff causes an issue for anyone downloading.

It's not that difficult to patch in, but plenty of people are able to help on the general channel if you run into a snag. For the most part, it's just copying files to the right location and making a copy of a .dll file in the Fire Pro directory before running a patcher app. |
