How many of you heard the news or care to react??
On October 27, 2021, Ring of Honor announced that it would go on a hiatus after Final Battle in December, with a return tentatively scheduled for April 2022. All personnel would also be released from their contracts as part of plans to "reimagine" the company as a "fan-focused product"
ROH announced that all talent and staff will be released from their contracts in December 2021 & free to work anywhere
Is this the end?? How will this effect AEW & WWE & other promotions??
Who ends up where???

Did not see this coming! Hopefully they'll be alright come April. It's going to be interesting to see what happens next.

Another one bites the dust. Who the hell is even left at ROH these days? It hasn’t been on anything I have access to in ages.
I’d love to see the Briscoes again, but I can’t see them ever in WWE and have a hard time seeing them even in AEW. Besides FTR, who would they match up well against?

I saw this news yesterday and was saddened by it. It's damn unfortunate that those folks are now out of work and that a company with a mostly good history is in such trouble that they'd have to do a purge on that scale. I do wonder if any of the talent will show up in other feds. With WWE allegedly wanting to go for younger talent and AEW not having enough TV time to showcase everyone on its already sizeable roster, I don't know if either will really go after any of the newly available ROH hands. If they did, I wouldn't expect them to add more than a couple of people each. Impact will likely be a reality for people who already have history there but the others? I wish them all well regardless.

I've been saying since AEW was founded that it would kill off the indies.

Death Before Dishonor was a damn good show. FTR vs The Briscoes was some awesome, old school pro wrasslin.
Definitely a promising outing from Tony Khan's version of ROH.
