I've been doing a lot of Nate Bargatze, Kyle Kinane, and Jim Jefferies lately. Can't get enough of any of them and they've all become fairly popular.
I'm looking for some new good stand-up comics because I've listened to everything I like too many times now. Who do you guys like, particularly who are some of your favorite lesser-known stands ups? POST VIDEOS!

My top 5 current stand up guys are: Jimmy Carr, Anthony Jeselnik, Frankie Boyle (if you can understand a very thick Scottish accent), Patton Owsalt, Jim Jefferies
If we're including all time stuff, there is no one better than George Carlin, though Bill Hicks comes pretty close. Shame his career was cut so short by cancer.

I've always enjoyed Lewis Black, even though he super political and I wouldn't care about politics if you paid me to. Gotta add my support to Jim Jefferies as well. George Carlin seems like an obvious answer. I'll also say Louis CK, even though he is in a wee bit of hot water at the moment.
Brian Regan can be good, even though he's super clean.

I got into Norm MacDonald late last year after seeing his interview on Conan. Brief clip is here... youtu.be/lL0WayC7jW0But man, oh man, is the entire segment with Norm on Conan during that show just the funniest stuff. He’s easily my favourite comic - but Bill Hicks, Carlin, CK, Frankie Boyle and Jeselnik are killer too.

I can't quite explain why but Carlin is just not for me. However I've loved Bill Hicks since I first heard about him as a teen. I've tried, even fairly recently, to listen to Carlin albums and it just kinda.... plays... and I kinda... don't laugh.

Ahh that’s a shame. Comedy’s always been an audiovisual medium for me - and I think Carlin particularly emotes very well when delivering a joke. Hicks, too. But I guess no one comedian’s gonna be everybody’s pick

I think basically because his "gimmick" is that he is eyerolling at the rest of the world for being dumb, it doesn't always resonate with people who want to be optimistic about the world.

I spend a lot of time doing the same type of eyerolling so you'd think he would be my type of comic, but he just doesn't do much for me.

Doug Stanhope is always worth a listen/watch. Definitely agree... especially his bit called "60 Minutes of AIDS on Any Given Sunday"
