Hi there.
It's been a few months since I've been on, as I had issues with new downloads not showing up after I'd downloaded them. I never managed to resolve this, so I'm thinking of uninstalling or deleting all of what I've downloaded for now (Is there anything I should know about this? Like if I uninstall will I lose the Fire Promoter DLC I bought etc - sorry such a noob question)
But my main question is - when searching for created wrestlers from the community, am I going to run into issues regarding the amount of people I can download if I haven't bought all the DLC?
Like might there be a Randy Savage that someone made using the create an entrance, that I can't download unless I have bought the create an entrance DLC?
Or an Anna Jay that I can't download because someone made her using parts they gained from one of the Stardom packs?
It's fine if that's the case, I'll just get to downloading if need be and if that's what most on here would recommend, but I didn't want to end up purchasing a pack that I might not use myself, if it doesn't actually have an impact on what you can or can't download.
Thanks, in advance, for any advice on this.

Entrances are localised and can’t be shared - you have to create them yourself but bare in mind that the entrance craft dlc also has three arenas in it, but if anyone’s used a dlc part on an edit you’ll need that dlc to use the edit
Most edit makers will flag which dlc you need to use the edit so you would know. You might also need to download specific movecraft moves as well
You’ll likely need the new Japan and stardom dlcs the most, as those will be heavily used for attires and move sets, part craft would probably be fairly useful for edits too if you like the real life edits out there with accurate attires
Uninstalling the game won’t lose you your dlc, it will just redownload it when you reinstall

Thank you very much. So, I'm I getting this right - Entrance craft won't have an impact on who I download as it is only local? I was confused with the bit where you say if anyone has used a DLC part on an edit. But if it is local, and just entrances this shouldn't make a difference right? If so, I won't buy that. Thank you for the heads up on the NJPW and Stardom packs being of the most importance. I will purchase those then and hopefully that will give me a wider range to choose from when downloading. Lastly, thanks for reassuring me about the Fire Promoter DLC if I uninstall. Is uninstall the best way of starting afresh? Will it delete all the wrestlers and arenas I've downloaded so far (which is what I'm wanting to do) Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.

When I said dlc part, I meant heads, attire parts, moves from dlc packs - sorry for the confusion. You absolutely don’t need entrance craft dlc unless you will make use of the three arenas
Reinstalling the game will mean you’re still subscribed to workshop items, if you wanna start from a complete fresh state - you need to unsubscribe from everything in the in game edit menu, then delete your save file and uninstall/reinstall your game
Also make sure steam cloud save is turned off.. in case you have your fire pro save file saved to the cloud

Thanks for walking through that with me. I think I'd have uninstalled then been confused as to why everything has remained on my game. So that's saved me a lot of confusion. Thanks very much.

There’s also a way to use any wrestler from the Workshop even if you don’t have the DLC required, but it involves a little work for each edit.
If you download a wrestler you can’t use, clone then wrestler in Edit Mode and remove anything in the appearance and moveset you don’t have access to use. That stuff will conveniently show in red text.
Replacing moves isn’t too bad, although there isn’t always a perfect replacement. You may need to alter the logic of one move end in a pin and the other doesn’t, or the end position is face down instead of face up, etc.
For appearances, you may be able to work out decent enough replacements using the DLC you have. There aren’t a lot of options for female wrestlers outside of the Stardom packs or many logo parts outside of NJPW, Entrance Craft, and Takayama Pt. 2.

It's a nice work around, I just wouldn't have the time or effort. So I'm happy to have downloaded the Stardom and NJPW packs. I saved a lot of money by buying them now wile PSN is on a special money off gimmick until the end of March.

I've ran into an issue.
So I downloaded a bunch of CAWs and many had items of clothing and/or their head missing.
I then looked that up and saw that you need to subscribe to each individual item - and damn is that a lot of time and effort. Absolutely crazy.
But the issue I've had is, for instance, I've gone on to the headless Bret Hart that I've subscribed to and luckily all the parts needed are labelled, so I subscribe to every one...
Then when I get back into the game the character is still greyed out and when I click on it, there are a few items and moves etc that it says are missing. They are all a code like Leg213498 or something, so I go back into the FPWnet section and search for those missing parts and for each one I am getting absolutely nothing.
Has anybody had this issue? What is the problem and how can I solve it? When this happens is it because I've not downloaded craft parts DLC?
I'm quickly starting to wish I'd not restarted and just kept the wrestlers I'd already downloaded. I was hoping to play the game this weekend but it seems all this subscribing is going to take me weeks.

Yes you need parts craft in order to use custom parts, so thats likely your issue

Yes you need parts craft in order to use custom parts, so thats likely your issue Excellent. Thank you. Will that be the case 100%? As I've already spent £30 on new DLC and this is 24.99 so I'd hate to download that as well and it still not sort my problem out. If it will though, I'll suck it up and pay like everyone else has to. Christ though, it's a lot of money to spend! Thanks for all the help with this.

If you don’t have Parts Craft, there are no custom parts that you’ll be able to use. You can subscribe to custom parts without Parts Craft, but you won’t be able to use any of them.

It seems so obvious now! I really need walking through these things at times. Thanks so much for your help guys. Really appreciate this.
