Due to family issues, followed be personal heath issues, followed by Covid I haven't really been able to keep up on FPW. Been playing for almost 30 years now, and was pretty up to date on things. I know a lot has changed, last I played Fire Pro normally I modded the game to be able to play themes and alphabetize my areas to give you an idea of where I was at.
I assume the old mod suite is long gone, but is it true you can use custom music by default now? I read even people on PS4 were able to do that which is kind of mind blowing. Are both versions able to do be without modding?
On Steam, I see how people are apparently able to map custom faces onto edits now.....WHAT? How is this done? Is there a way to filer by these? There are a few I see pop up on twitter and I for sure have to modify my game with these edits.
Custom moves is also blowing my mind. Let's say for example I want to download a new custom Orange Cassidy with all the fun custom spots I've seen made, can I just download a new Orange Cassidy edit that has the new moves and taunts included or do I have to download the solo parts and piece it together? Can you possibly download with the music?
Although I'm sure it's still not nearly as good, I do have the PS4 version but never touched it. Do you still have to download each edit separate, or could I possibly follow 2 or 3 people on PS4 and have a decent base game to play in a quick session? Have there been any changes really to the PS4 version for downloading and custom music?
Thanks for your time, I assure you I am not a total newb as I've been playing since the 6MS days, and even went as far as learning to mod FPW a few years back. That said, some of the new things I've seen have just blown my mind.
