While it is fun to create an edit from scratch, I think we all can also benefit from some randomness. Here is what I have come up with so far for a Random Edit Creation System. I am not done with it, and could use ideas from the CriticalClub Universe. I have borrowed some from others on here, and will give credit. This would be a good system for people not good at logic, and/or just want/need a quick edit made but still want some say in the creativity.
1. Choose the height and weight of the wrestler. I completely stole this from Johnny Jett's Empower System of edit making.
""To randomly generate height and weight, get you some good old fashioned nerd dice. Y'know, the weirdly shaped ones people use for playing Dungeons and Dragons. You've got a set of nerd dice, don't you? No? Well, that's fine, there are plenty of random number generators online, get one of those open. Got it? Alright, cool. Roll on the table below.
Male Height (in inches and feet): 2d10 + 5 ft. 5 in.
Male Weight (in pounds): 2d10 x 5 + 145 pounds
Female Height (in inches and feet): 2d10 + 4 ft. 5 in.
Female Weight (in pounds): 2d10 x 5 + 95 pounds
This will give you men between 5'2/157 lbs and 7'1/345 lbs while women will be between 4'7/105 lbs and 6'1/295 lbs. Because wrestlers are usually bigger than most people. This doesn't, of course, give you many giants, but that should be rare in the first place.""
2. Choose the template of your wrestler. Just pick a wrestler you want to base your edit on, or random pick how Reinvigorate does or however random way you want.
3. Note the Finisher and Specialty moves of the wrestler, and when they are performed (front grapple, post, top rope with opponent down, etc). All of these will be changed.
4. Use the random function on the match set up screen to get new wrestlers, then choose ONE of that person's Finisher or Specialty moves to replace one of your edits. Repeat until all moves have been changed.
5. Appearance, taunts, things like that can be changed by the creator. I decided to leave stats and logic alone, but as the creator, do as you please.
I am always up for new ideas to add to this system before I post this in the guide section. I guess you can call this a "beta" test. Any ideas you guys have to add to this I am definitely interested.
