I am starting to learn more and more about the game and thinking about how I want to run my federation. I do not play I only watch. I was thinking should I just run the matches through offline mode and keep al the records in like an excel spreadsheet. Should I use fire promoter (Though I dont know much about it).
What kind of things do you all use so maybe I can pick up some great ideas.

It pretty much ran itself after a lot of tweaking and rebuilds. I was very proud of it. I lost it. I still like to run large leagues to determine a ranking and run smaller leagues and tournaments to find champs and ranked competitors. I almost never actually play the game myself.

What kind of things do you all use so maybe I can pick up some great ideas. I am old school. I use a pen and notebook to write out event cards.
I usually sim the cards. However, if I really want a winner, I play on a level like 5 or 6 so I can usually control the match.
If I want some unpredictability, I'll play at level 8. If I am facing a jobber, I play at Level 1. I don't claim to be a good player.
My Critical setting is normally set to Low. If something happens that I do not expect, like I lose at Level 6 or there is a Critical, I roll with it and see how I can create a narrative. For example, for my PWF fed, I had a guy who was low card (Denis d'Etampes- French for Dennis Stamp) get a Technical Critical on Jason V (Looks like Jason The Terrible from Stampede/FMW). I used that to hype the huge upset. For the next event, I had a "match" where Jason V and his partner Red Plague attacked Denis before the start of the official match. I subscribed to an invisible referee to make it look like "No ref" was on the scene. I did a double team on Denis, got him outside and lo and behold, Plague got a Critical on Denis outside the ring with his finisher within 4 minutes. To achieve that, I set the Critical to High, match time to Unlimitied, No Count out, No DQ and Computer at 1.
So I was able to weave it as a story where Denis got a fluke win and Jason got revenge with his tag partner. I kept Denis off a bunch of shows with an injury, and had him come back to challenge the monsters.

That is awesome , I am trying to mess with the booking mod so I can dictate at times who wins specially when someone faces a jobber. Main matches I will let the chips fall where they may.

Quite frankly, a lot of the enjoyment is going to be birthed from your imagination. I have a YouTube Channel for PWF that has 5 subscribers and usually 0 views. Yet I upload events there. I have an Imgur account that has seen my Hulkamania Pro photo recaps get downvoted so now I need to post future stuuf with a Hidden tag.
However, I keep doing it because I enjoy it. It's not a chore, it's a fun diversion. I use my imagination and this is fun.

For me I am just getting into it, Right now I want to learn all the cool mods and then start a crazy universe. Maybe you can answer a question for me. When i download someone created wrestler if that person ever took that wrestler down off the workship would I lose the wrestler also unless i save it as my own?

I believe so. That is why for wrestlers, I do usually save my own version of them, then move the downloaded version to Retired.
One thing I never do...download someone else's work, then tweak and upload as my own. That is a big no-no.

I have a variety of ways that I do so. My main original character feds with the Senatorial Office are a mix of written promos and streamed matches, which I get a great deal of enjoyment out of. I also run a secondary All Time Boxing fed that I run less often, but with a similar dichotomy of written setups and streamed fights. My Quantum Vault stuff is another alternate universe sort of deal using real wrestlers in theoretical timelines, and that's entirely done in writeups, with a framing device that a guy receives matches from other timelines and posts reviews of these on a site.
All in all, I like writing and I like simming matches, so there's a good balance in all my feds for that.

There is so much I can play with here I feel like I am finally taking the time to learn. This might consume my life which is good cause I need a reason to leave world of warcraft behind lol. I still have trouble working some mods but I have them installed so that is a win.

Also, I would highly recommend checking out the Efed forums if you're curious about different ways to track/document a promotion. A lot of us do original creations, but you can get a pulse on different creative ideas. Some people just track results, others create episodic videos, others written promos and builds. Theres really no limit to how you can construct your own universe.

Thumbs up to every tips, ideas and advice here.
I am a simmer by nature and loves to see things unfold with me having a hand making it happen.
As my edit making is below average, I knda took the responsibility of taking care of edits of other handlers. Balancing booker's creative freedom and " do's and don't's " from handlers is a must if you wanna go this route.
Instead of spreadsheets, I have drafts of angles, storylines that ranges from a single match to " Epic " main event angles broken into multiple matches.
I too have a low subsriber count channel but still do this for my own enjoyment.
Just sharing

Having my own thread in the e-fed forum has been a lifesaver for me. I tend to write things down on sticky notes that get lost rather quickly. I use my thread almost like a notepad. I have the names of my shows, the history of my fed(s), champions, etc. I should probably have a spreadsheet but I am always lacking time.
For me, giving your fed a backstory or history allows your creation to have some weight and potential reader/watcher buy-in. For me, it gives my e-fed a sense of direction and purpose which can be a big help during personal downtimes. The Flippo family run my promotion and have since 1962. They are the backbone (along with a couple of other wrestlers as well) of this entire project for me.
I would recommend looking at the creative forum. There are a couple of threads going over edit making theory which have been a big help in the past.
A good number of creators on this forum, myself included, allow their edits to be used on other creators shows/e-feds. For example, I have been using Rampage Hunter from Warrior Pro for the last 8 or so months(?) as a monster champion. It mixes things up, I get to promote and show off another user I respect edit, and allows me to test my own creations against others. Just be sure to ask permission.
Lastly, if you aren't feeling something, don't force anything. Burnout can, does and will happen from time to time. Be kind to yourself and let the sim gods take the wheel.
