If you love ragdoll physics, Pro-Wrestling and player-created content, you should check out Human Fall Flat.
For starters, Human's Steam Workshop contains a growing collection of ragdolls inspired by famous Wrestlers. In today's search, I found the following creations:
Undertaker, John Cena, Stone Cold, Kane, The Rock, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Big Show, The Fiend, CM Punk (unmasked), Goldberg, Brandon Cutler, Triple H, Mark Henry and Andre The Giant.
These ragdolls remind me of Jakks Pacific's Vinyl Aggression figures from the mid 2000's. Pictured above is Andre The Giant from the line.

80's Mania Wrestling has a new Wrestler likeness. From Mania's official Twitter: "🗣️DEBUTING IN THE FEBRUARY UPDATE!
HAL SAND was a confused wrestler who shipwrecked on a desert island.
No one's sure what the experience did to his mental state, but this castaway is back! And now... he's got Wood!
Update drops next week!"
Hal Sand is based on Al Snow.

While both of these works largely came after the game's time frame, I can also see traces of Chuck Noland & Wilson from Cast Away and Jonny & Plank from Ed, Edd n Eddy.

Good catch, Staubhold! On a related note, I went to visit my bandmate's place the other day and FINALLY got around to playing The Wild Rings on XBOX. From my initial reaction, I'd say the controls feel closer to that of classic arcade Wrestling games (button mashing to initiate a grapple, etc). The graphics were also quite good for the era, with noticeably large character models to boot.
I also noticed a Matrix-style slowdown when certain attacks connected; a trend that was in just about every video game of the time.
I haven't translated the full roster yet, but once I figure out my friend's emulation settings, this thread will get more Wild Rings appreciation.

Modern Mania Wrestling GM features several new likenesses. Starting with the January update: Mad Manson is said to be based on Seth Rollins, while Maniac Murphy was no doubt inspired by Jon Moxley. The February update included Benito Bronx: Benito is said to be a mixture between Eddie Kingston, Brooklyn Brawler and Apollo Creed.

Brainteasers and Wrestling: an odd combination finally brought together in a game called WRESTDLE. Wrestdle is a spin-off of classic puzzle game Worldle. Gameplay-wise, players are given six chances to guess the mystery Wrestler based on Wrestler's height, weight, location, etc. An interesting plus is that Wrestdle also acts as a compact Wrestler database. Simply type in a Wrestler's name and their stats are then displayed in-game. Though, Wrestdle doesn't have every Wrestler listed in it's database. Wrestlers out of the general scope of the modern WWE's grasp (names like Riki Choshu, Masa Saitoh, or even The Great Muta, for example) aren't searchable at the time being. If you'd like to flex your own Wrestler knowledge and give your brain a workout, you can try Wrestdle yourself here: www.wrestdle.com/

Welcome back to the single largest online database of Wrestling video games on the net. Adding to our list of Wrestling games you can't play any longer is Pro Puzzle Wrestling: Pro Puzzle Wrestling was hosted on a website called bagofgames.com. The exact year isn't specific, but traces to the bagofgames website believe the title was released around 2017, if not earlier. There were 12 selectable characters in Pro Puzzle. 5 of which the player had to unlock. With tattoos, asymmetrical ring attire and a lucha mask, I'm guessing Jose Lincoln was based on Rey Mysterio Jr., while Ivan Kalashnikov was clearly-inspired by Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. I couldn't put my finger on it, but The British Banker Tommy Tanker looks like he's based on some type of Inspector Gadget/Agent Clouseau -type movie character. With arm tattoo, I'm thinking Maxwell Powell may be based on a younger Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. From a cursory glance, I would estimate Pro Puzzle played similar to that of Street Fighter Puzzle Fighter and Candy Crush. Judging by the stats screen, it seemed every Wrestler had their own unique attributes; offering some semblance of strategy and initiative to unlock the additional characters.
Unfortunately, Pro Puzzle Wrestling, nor the website which hosted the game (bagofgames.com) can no longer be accessed by normal means. A game that would have certainly been a refreshing approach to mobile Wrestling apps in 2024.

As a kid, two of my biggest loves were Wrestling and Nintendo. This picture is definitely a blast from the past: As far as non-WWF video game appearances, Savage appeared unofficially in the following games: Gekitou Burning Pro-Wrestling, Super Fire Pro-Wrestling Special as 'Macho Sable', and Hiryu No Ken Golden Fighter/Ultimate Fighter as 'Zebra'.

Mortal Kombat and John Cena ...I love it! In fact, I love all of the cutscenes from the new Mortal Kombat games. The attention to detail and overall respect for Kombat's lore interwoven into these titles is truly commendable. The graphics are so realistic now that it's starting to get scary... Speaking of John Cena: John Cena appears as a fan-created mod in Dragon Ball Xenoverse. The Dragon Ball saga is no stranger to Wrestler appearances. In previous posts in this thread, we covered actual Wrestler knockoffs that were featured in the series such as: Antoine The Great (Andre The Giant), Udo (Stan Hansen), Bruce Lee (unnamed), Jackie Chun (Jackie Chan), Hercule (Hulk Hogan), Yajirobe as The Destroyer ...and one likeness I just discovered: The Dragon Ball character Piroshki, which bares a strong resemblance to Big Van Vader! An unmasked Piroshki, Hercule, along with other characters Caroni and Miss Pizza. Rumours online believe that the blonde-haired Caroni was based off of Shawn Michaels. I'd like to disagree with that. At the time the Dragon Ball anime and manga originally aired in Japan, Michaels was only a solo Wrestler for just one year in the WWF. I'd like to think Caroni is based off of Ric Flair. Miss Pizza is believed to have been based off of Miss Elizabeth. No idea where Macho Man is....
