Ever wanted your favourite WWE superstars to take on The Joker in a barely playable beat em up? Well Beat Em Up Wrestling Game is for you! And, yes, that is the game's name! What's this? Characters stolen from other video games? Why this must be an un-moderated mobile Wrestling game! As usual, the product photos are a complete lie. There's no referee, car fight stages or cut scenes that look this detailed in-game. There are 12 characters to choose from in Beat Em Up Wrestling Game (I still cringe reading that name...). The first is John Cena with an Undertaker-style beard. If you're a WWE fan, you'll be able to spot most of the Wrestlers immediately. Let's look at the rest of the roster: Jack - The Joker. Joker - Looks like one of The Joker's henchmen from the DC Universe. Not sure on this one. Kane - Johnny Blade with Brock Lesnar's famous chest tattoo. Mask - A never-ending onslaught of Stardust look-alikes. Anarky - A villain from the Batman series. Sophi - Nikki Bella Jin - Lash from the Marvel universe. Emily - Kaitlyn - a female Wrestler that only appeared in one WWE game ...WWE 2K14; which shows you how far some game designers will dig to steal and repackage older models. Lily - Paige Amelia - AJ Lee Isla - AJ Lee palette swap, I think. One of the most baffling glitches/features is that certain female Wrestlers start the match without their hair! In all my years of video gaming, I never seen anything like this! What passes for cut scenes are laughable at best. The Engrish is the icing on the cake. Overall, Beat Em Up Wrestling Game is another example of how so many low quality Wrestling/fighting games end up in the Google Play Store. If this mobile title was made purely as a fan game (and posted) on a site like Newgrounds, Openbor or Arcadepod, I would be more lenient with my review. Despite not having any in-game purchases, Beat Em Wrestling Game is littered with ads. The same ads that could generate this developer some form of profit. With all of the character models stolen from other games, this type of behaviour shouldn't be tolerated. If anything, these antics should be reported to google.

Do you have a burner phone for these? I really hope you're not putting your Google account at risk for this garbage.

On that note, The Muscle Hustle's got some new faces showing up in TMH (The Fed), so here's a recent batch over the course of a few updates. Left is Face, Right is Heel: 1st up, is Magnus Musculi, AKA The Centurion! He an Italian immigrant that used to work at the Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, that is until a tourist gave him a "Toga Wedgie". That's where he lost his rag, figuratively and literally, because he was later seen using the garment as an ad hoc weapon in a variety of impressively imaginative ways to whip, strangle, launch, and humiliate his misguided attacker. He was lucky that the judge that day of his court hearing was a bonafide wrestling fanatic, and as such used his TMH connections to have his sentence of community service to be carried out in the ring, so now he's the de facto ring leader ever since, defeating opponent after opponent ad infinitum. 2nd, is a man only known as the Golden Boy. He used to be a prolific Baseball Player, till there was an incident where he accidentally struck a pitcher in the face with their own pitch. This lit a spark in his head, as he soon started headhunting intentionally. One that won him few friends from any opposing team he faced, and many from his end. Eventually, he made a transition to Pro Wrestling, where the violence would be more openly appreciated. (Side note, I really like how a lot of people in The Muscle Hustle get into wrestling cause they want to commit violence, or their ability to commit violence was noted and thus scouted) Last and the most recent one, is Wiona Webb, AKA The Wicked Wiccan! Wiona was always a little different. Same could be said for most Wiccans, but she's a slight sore thumb from other witches. Take her childhood for example. While most witches fixated on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Charmed or Rentaghost as their childhood TV favourite, her's was Bob the Builder. Her chosen career path is also an anomaly too; While her witch compatriots were drawn to Herbology, Crystal Healing or Forestry, she was drawn to Professional Wrestling. This all came back full circle to Bob the Builder, whom her love for the show persisted through to her Teenage years. This... Led to bullying and her toward the development of jaw-dropping defensive abilities, both mystical and physical. So when a problem arises in the ring, she can be heard saying to herself, "Can we fix it? Yes, Wiccan.".

For the sake of cataloguing as many Wrestling games as possible, I've used two phones and a tablet in the past. The ads that I sat through in order to play some of these "games" should warrant me a generous sum of hazard pay. The problem is ...I keep holding out for another rare gem. Another Pro-Wrestling Gong or Wrestling Empire. So far, my search has mostly been in vain. Perhaps Google should hire me as a game tester for the Play Store. Someone to sift through the new Wrestling releases and report any IP theft, or other features that should be flagged. Such as: Wrestling: WWF Attitude EraWant to play a brand new mobile game dedicated to both The Rock and WWF's Attitude era? Well ...YOU CAN'T! Why? Simple, really. Wrestling: WWF Attitude Era has a bug where it crashes on startup! For an unlicensed WWE game, the following is just another example of how anything goes in the wild west of the Google Play store. Google ...I hate to repeat myself....but, my services are available....just sayin'.......On a positive note, I'd like to focus, once again, on creative character designs with: RumbleslamPlatform: Tabletop game Year: 2017 Developer: TTCombat The long-haired barbarian character reminds of The Ultimate Warrior. Like Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons, Rumbleslam incorporates miniature figures. This orc character looks awfully familiar, brother! This Orc is based on Hulk Hogan. Moote Carlo Junior & Senor Jr are based on Rey Mysterio Jr. & Sr. Ronnie Savage is based on Macho Man Randy Savage. The Tartan is based on Rowdy Roddy Piper. This Halfling has a similar mask and colouring to that of Ultimo Dragon. Baxter is based on The British Bulldog. Brothers Berserk have to be the most oddest Road Warriors tribute I have ever seen! How can you top a Crab arm?! Gravedigger is a zombified Undertaker. Vitamir echoes back to another forgotten Wrestling trope: the Soviet Russian Wrestler akin to Nikolai Volkoff, Ivan Koloff or Nikita Koloff. Alas, I'm sure the inspiration behind Vitamir is closer to Street Fighter's Zangief. Especially with an E. Honda -inspired Orc also making it's rounds in the Rumbleslam roster.

Rumble Slam looks cool, well, the miniatures/playing pieces do (especially the bulldog, Road Warriors, and the street fighter guys!). I don’t understand the appeal of board games, the rules lull me into an instant coma. Kudos to those who can sit through figuring the games out, but no thanks (how settlers of catan has been a thing for so long boggles my mind!). It would be cool if games workshop or another miniature producing company would make wrestling themed models to paint, I’d be into that!

Kudos to those who can sit through figuring the games out, but no thanks (how settlers of catan has been a thing for so long boggles my mind!). It would be cool if games workshop or another miniature producing company would make wrestling themed models to paint, I’d be into that! To understand the appeal of fantasy-based board games, we need to take a trip back to the very beginning of modern gaming. The year was 1974 and the most up-to-date arcade games looked like this: Pong (1972) and Asteroid Space Race (1973), Gaming was still in it's infancy. Arcade titles were short and quite primitive by today's standards. Most of which, relegated to one single screen of gameplay. Enter Dungeons & Dragons. While a handful of video game systems existed in 1974, the average Pong/gaming console costed around $100. In contrast, the first iteration of Dungeons & Dragons sold for just $10, and offered players the chance to immerse themselves in a gaming experience beyond the typical space shooters and tennis simulators of the day. Like the early Pong Consoles, Dungeons & Dragons allowed players to enjoy games in the comfort of their own homes. Having friends over, forming alliances, creating rivalries. The simple joys of camaraderie. The type of gaming atmosphere that is sadly missing these days. As online gaming has become the norm, and the need for social interaction in gaming now being considered old fashioned, Dungeons & Dragons continues onward. Even with an online version of it's own, most players prefer playing D&D among their friends. There's just something about being in the same room with a group of fantasy buffs, all using their imaginations to craft together a gaming experience you just can't find anywhere else.
Just under 20 years later, Wrestling games would begin to feature their own character creation. The birth of e-feds and simulation marked the beginning of a new era of fantasy roleplaying that are all commonplace in Fire Pro Wrestling.

Speaking of unique character creation, I am pleased to share another batch of Wrestler likenesses from tabletop board game Rumbleslam: Finding new ways to make you humble in the year 20XX. Tin Khan is based on The Iron Sheik. Ceneleon is John Cena. Scraphead and Puggy are based on Junkyard Dog. The character creation is both creative and hilarious. For proof of such, look no further than 'Trash Ratus' (Trish Stratus). This one took me a minute, but I think King Pandinus is based on The Rock's appearance in The Scorpion King. The Nobgoblins are based on The Bushwackers tag team.
Pedro and Dedro remind me of The Honky Tonk Man ...with a newly-updated Mexican motif!
Big Andy is Andre The Giant. Rumbleslam also has matching trading cards to go with the miniatures. Comet is based on Goldust.

The Google Play Store. The free-for-all, no man's land of modern gaming. Where anything goes ...until a copyright violation is involved. In this thread, we've looked at 32 mobile Wrestling games so far. Let's get "real" with #33: Look at those amazing graphics! Have you ever seen better looking product photos from the Google Play Store?! Um. Another menu with WWE All Stars graphics? Oh, no. Don't tell me.... Ah, crap. More stolen WWE game models. Like many bootleg Wrestling games in the Google Play Store, none of these Wrestlers include their real names ...or even fake names. Of course, our first "fighter" is AJ Styles. I think this next Wrestler is supposed to be Johnny Gargano. Too tanned to be CM Punk. Big Show's looking awfully trim here. If you haven't noticed by now, all of the Wrestlers use the same exact body type. Brock Lesnar. The rock with ...matching samoan-esque tattoos. Odd. John Cena. Kane. Roman Reigns looks like he's starting to let himself go. Randy Orton. Simply put, Real Wrestling Fighting Game is real mess. Glitches like falling through the mat, teleporting outside the ring, or passing through the ring ropes like a phantom are all commonplace during matches. The worst feature in Real Wrestling are the 2 on 1 handicap matches. As expected, the player must tackle two opponents at the same time. There's just one small problem: one of the opponents will remain invincible during the match. To make matters worse: the one opponent who is invulnerable to taking damage will usually end up blocking their team mate - making an already unfair fight all the more tedious. Despite featuring WWE superstars, Real Wrestling Fighting Game feels more like a cheap boxing simulator. Matches are ridiculously short with unbearable advertisements interspersed between matches. Though, for those of you who enjoy playing lousy games: Real Wrestling is for you. The sloppy game physics, bugs and gameplay glitches are worth experiencing - for morbid curiosity, if nothing more.

Wrestling fans, gaming historians, or just Youtubers looking for weird Wrestling games to cover ...look no further. I have three mobile Wrestling titles worthy of your inspection. One Wrestling title even comes from Iran! So, enough chit-chat. Let's strap on our bootleg Wrestling attires, get ready to rumble and take on a healthy serving of copyright infringement mobile style.
Mobile game #34 takes a step into the world of Wrestling trivia once again with: The title and game icon looks simple enough. Until you see the game in action. Looks like another unlicensed WWE mobile game (*gasps*) with our good friend ....a John Cena look-alike. The player is in charge of steering John Cena left or right towards the correct trivia answers. Choose the right answer and John's attack power will be raised. Choose the wrong answer and John will lose power. The amount of power John has by the end of a level will determine if John has enough energy to defeat the stage boss. The most bizarre aspect of Wrestling Trivia Run are the photos of the WWE Superstars found in-game. In case haven't noticed already, each Superstar has a weird Pixar Snapchat filter making their eyes cartoonish. It's just downright creepy... Each level has a stage boss. The bosses are: Undertaker, Rey Mysterio and Aj Styles. Defeating each boss unlocks them for future playthroughs. While the models are stolen from a WWE game (the exact game I can't tell you), I have to give some credit to Seksek Games for creating a mobile Wrestling game with some originality to it. The questions found in Wrestling Trivia Run aren't that difficult to figure out, and there's only a handful of questions before the game starts repeating itself. Only the most hardcore of players will even consider unlocking the three additional superstars (all of whom share the same stats).
Nothing groundbreaking by any means, but there are far worse Wrestling titles on the mobile platform.
And, for mobile Wrestling game #35, I give you:
I wonder what this game is about? Stickman boxing WWE fight is an unlicensed WWE-themed mobile game that features characters inspired by the WWE and Stickman universes. Cool idea on paper, poorly executed in-game. The player controls a Sheamus-looking Wrestler (who just so happens to have Jin Kazama's devil gene tattoo on his frickin' face), as he takes on a Wrestler clearly inspired by the Road Warriors. For those of you out there who always wanted your Wrestling games to be easier, well ...it doesn't get any easier than Stickman WWE Fight; since the opponent doesn't even move a muscle! No, seriously. That perfect knockout wasn't from hours of practice. The CPU opponent is as stiff as a statue; providing absolutely no challenge. And once the player defeats the Road Warrior knockoff, that's it. No other opponents, no second or third rounds. Nothing. The game just loops over and over.
Next up: a game so obscure, it can't be downloaded in the Google Play Store. No, Stickman Wrestling Fight arena: Fighting Game (really? Isn't that title a bit redundantly redundant?) can only be played after installing an app specifically from Iran! Yes. Players would need to download a special app called Bazaar onto their mobile devices in order to play this unlicensed Wrestling game. Luckily, we have game screenshots: John Cena performs an elbow drop on Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio is also seen taking a punch from The Rock. The diverse cast of this Iranian app seems to feature three variants of John Cena: one with purple pants, another with green elbow pads, and a third Walmart exclusive with red elbow pads.

Our mobile marathon continues with a trip back to Iran: This game is available on the Iranian website cafebazaar.ir. Wrestling Fight Revolution 3D continues the proud tradition of many sketchy mobile games: - Ultra generic game title - & stolen game models lifted from licensed WWE games. Speaking of sketchy games.... Did you know WWE All Stars had a mobile release exclusively in Iran? Also on the cafebazaar.ir website. Nothing illegal about this entry. Which just so happens to have stolen 2K graphics. I never knew John Cena could speak Persian. From the game screenshots, it's clear that this mobile game is an unapologetic emulation of WWE All Stars for PSP. Player reviews for this hack have been scathing. Some even claiming the game has the potential to access your bank accounts and wipe them out. No...I think I'll stick to playing the real thing, thank you.

After delving into the pits of mobile gaming, let's go back to a happier place. A place where Wrestling legends can find recognition in a collectable card game: Where most Wrestling games pay homage to Wrestlers from the golden era of modern Wrestling (70's - late 90's), the Legends of Wrestling card game stretches back even further with legends culled from the 1920's and onwards. On the game cover, we have Lou Thesz, Mr. Perfect, Macho Man, Buddy Rogers, Harley Race and Ted Dibiase. 1980's tag teams are also represented with: the Rock and Roll Express, the Midnight Express, the Miracle Violence Connection, The Sheepherders/Bushwackers, The Fantastics and The Heavenly Bodies. Other legends include Bobo Brazil, Nikolai Volkoff and The Iron Sheik. And, if expansion packs are your thing, you might like: Even if you're not a fan of card games, the comic style artwork is quite good. Each card illustration faithfully represents the associated legend. If the card stock was big enough, I would definitely get a few cards signed! Adrian Adonis. Cowboy Bob Orton. The Barbarian. The Warlord. Koko B. Ware. The Spoiler.

Ah, happy places. The Legends of Wrestling Card and Dice game roster continues. It's nice to see notable Women Wrestlers getting some attention in this set, too. Outside of the WWE, there really aren't that many mediums that pay tribute to these legends. Austin Idol. Barry Windham and Pat Patterson. Shane Douglas. Dynamite Kid. Davey Boy Smith. Captain Lou Albano. Hillbilly Jim. SD Jones. Cora Combs. Mike Jackson.
King Kong Bundy. Well, I think that's enough posts for a while. Truth be told, there are still so many Wrestling greats left to cover from the Legends of Wrestling Cards and Dice Game. Apparently, the last set "LEGENDS FINAL CHAPTER (fifthteenth edition)" was issued in December of 2022. Like many Wrestling retirements, I hope this farewell is a relatively short one. Besides being a collectible card game, the motive behind the Legend sets is to remember the Wrestling greats of yesteryear, as well as educating players both young & old of Wrasslin; stars that they may not have known about. That sentiment alone is worthy of praise. The pioneers of the mat world. The hometown heroes of yesterday. The brilliant babyfaces and riot-inducing heels. The storied journeymen and territory favourites. The legends lost to the pages of history.
And the worldwide attractions we still remember fondly to this day.
So, to Filsinger Games, I salute you. For providing gamers and Wrestling fans alike with an encyclopedic look into the world of Professional Wrestling. From the halcyon days of yore, to the golden era of pop culture phenomena. May The Legends of Wrestling Card and Dice Game saga live on.
And now, I'll step aside for a bit. Please feel free to keep posting submissions in this thread. Everyone's input is always appreciated.

"The Final Chapter" was in reference to the black and white version of the game and was released years ago. The game is still very much alive, with a new womens set already announced for April, and more on the way later this year.

I'm glad to hear that. While I haven't gone through the entire Legends Card Game roster (yet...), I would love to see more foreign legends. Key figures from Japan, for example, like Baba, Inoki, The Four pillars among so many others. Though, the biggest challenge for such an idea to happen would be foreign licensing agreements.
