2 questions on King of Colosseum 2:
1. What does the - 3D Model Real/Smart option (in the Options menu) do?
2. How do I copy wrestlers between memory cards? I've tried the save/load option, but it seemingly does nothing. When I use the 3rd option in the Save/Load menu (EDIT WRESTLER COPY in the translation guide at Gamefaqs), it displays the same wrestlers on the memory card that I'm currently using. It seems the game only recognizes the mem card in slot 1. Switching memory card slots allows me to use 2 different saves, but I can't seem to be able to copy wrestlers from one card to another. Is this an issue caused by PCSX2?

It's been a long time since I've played KOC2 so I don't remember the answer to your first question. I do remember how confusing and counterintuitive edit transfer is (especially in comparison to FPR on PS2). I don't remember how to do the process but I can provide you with the information from two different guides I have saved in text files. Presumably at least one of these processes worked for me as I do remember porting edits across Memory Cards. Spoilering for post readability 👍 Guide 1: 1 ) On the main menu go to save/load
2 ) Select the third option in the save load menu.
3 ) A box will pop up with tons of Japanese writing...close it.
4 ) Put the memory card you wish to copy from in memory card slot 1 (the game only reads from slot 1)
5 ) Press square.
6 ) Select the guys you wish to copy
7 ) Put your main memory card back into slot 1
8 ) Exit back to the main menu
9 ) Make sure to save on the way back. Guide 2: Go to the Save/Load menu on the main screen and pick the third option
When you enter the Edit Wrestler Copy, all the Edits on your
current save will be listed in a column on the left. You switch
the memory card in slot 1 for the one which has the Edits you
want to transfer to your main save and then, press Square.
All the Edits on the second save will then be listed in a
column on the right. You select a wrestler from the right column
and put him in a free space in the left column to transfer him.
When you are done, put your main memory card back in slot 1
and save at the prompt when you exit the Edit Wrestler Copy.
Go to save/load on the main menu.
Select the bottom option.
Some junk will pop up, close it .
Put another memory card in slot 1.
Hit square and wait for it to load.
Transfer your edits.
Put your main memory card back in slot 1.
Exit out.
Save to memory card right before you bet back to the main menu. |

Thanks a lot for these! Yeah, that is really weird. Weird how they couldn't implement a simple memory card transfer in a big, complex game like KoC2. Glad Spike knew better when they made FPR.
