I am curious is there any good story mode mod someone can recommend and explain what it does to add to the game? I know about fire promoter but I guess something a little bit more?

There are currently no mods that add "story" to the game. There are a couple "promotion tracking" mods that basically just keep records and allow you to track how matches go over time. If you're looking for something like WWE Universe mode, thats not something that exists in FP.

I don't believe there's a full-featured mod to use the visual novel engine for the game to create story modes, if that's what you mean.
I know Carlzilla began working on something similar to that, but since the mod pack documentation is a bit outdated, I can't find any more details about it - but I believe it uses the in-match engine to generate text-based scenes with looping taunt anims, rather than anything that resembles the NJPW stories or Suda51's story.

Just to clarify a bit further, the mod is for creating stories in a similar vain to the Suda and Fighting Road DLCs. As of now no one has fully created and released anything for the public with that mod. |
