About to buy FPPW for the PC, but wanted to ask those of you with experience in it some questions
For the Fire Pro Promoter Mode
- Can you edit the Promoter Mode / Add Different Promotions with selected Wrestlers (mods) / Ring mats / etc you add to the game?
For the Game Itself
- Can you create / edit your own promotion and put whoever you want in it?
- What are some ways others have created feuds that build up to a climax?
Appreciate the information as I get ready to dive in.

I've barely touched Promoter Mode, but I believe yes to all of those, though someone else may need to confirm.
Yes, you can create as many promotions and stables as necessary. You'll have to book the the storyline independent of the game because you can't really pre-determine how a match plays out because of the nature of the gameplay mechanics. I mean, you can manipulate it enough to the point where RNG won't have as much of an effect, but RNG is still RNG at the end of the day.
Most people book their shows based on how the previous week or session went. Say you Hulk Hogan to face Macho Man, you expect Hulk Hogan to win, but Macho Man wins instead. What do you do then? Book around it and go from there.

Can't do custom rings or belts in the vanilla game but there may be a mod for that. You can import any promotion you've made into promoter mode in vanilla though the promotions all have a certain about of money they start with. Your promotion in fire promoter starts with a very small budget and I believe a six wrestler limit. There is a button combination cheat code to start with a lot of money and larger wrestler limit.
As for feuds there isn't any mechanics in game other than random one off event you'll get occasionally that isn't connected to anything just completely random. So just build feuds in however you feel like is fun.

I don't use mods yet so I don't know if there is one for sure yet. The in game default if I remember correctly is pretty much the same as the new Japan titles with fewer singles titles. Each promotion has a full set that just has the promotions name and the type of title on it.

If you are trying to create your own titles independently of promoter mode, I don't know what the limit that you can create is, but you are given several different plate, side plates, and straps to choose from. You can then mess with the colors of those, and name them whatever you want. I have 5 created titles for my promotion. Then if you get the NJPW and Stardom DLC's, you will get all of the titles from those promotions pre-made for you.

Geese has been heavily invested in the mode so he'll probably provide the best answers.

Geese has been heavily invested in the mode so he'll probably provide the best answers. This is true. I've only dabbled in the mode. Most if what I know is from him

I've primarily been playing Promoter Mode on PS4 for the past year and really enjoy it.
Any limitations I mention can likely be fixed with mods on PC.
Yes, you can choose a Custom Promoter setting where you choose the Promotion you run, and the promotions you'll be competing against. I believe it's 8, 12 or 16 promotions total. You can choose which wrestlers go into each promotion from their rosters, and which will be free agents or excluded. You can also add wrestlers to a save that go into the Free Agent pool to slowly be discovered by your scouts or other promotions and become available.
All your custom faction logos will be included in their promotions, and you can change logos for all factions but only manage memberships and names of factions in your own promotion.
Unfortunately on PS4 it won't let you use your custom rings, or custom titles, and it seems to randomly choose which of your refs are available to select. I'm sure that can all be fixed on PC w/ mods.
It does generate a set of 5 titles for each promotion in play, Heavyweight and Jr. singles and tags & 6 person tag.
You can't choose the outcome, unless you play against the CPU and turn the difficulty down, but you can save scum till you (usually) get your desired result.
Happy to answer any other questions, it's not without it's faults, but I've currently got Promoter saves on the go for modern AEW, mid-90's WCW & ECW, and Lucha Underground.
Hearing a rival promotion's wrestler is caught up in a scandal, poaching their titles, and many other aspects are lots of fun.

there is a lot of efeds that go along with fire pro and alot of people who create their own promotions and storylines. its essentially limitless. however majority of people dont use firepromoter to do it. its sort of its own game mode where the purpose is to balance a budget and successfully run a company while trying to boost the popularity of your roster and overall company as you go ahead against other companies. most people just use the various exhibition, league, tournaments, battle royal, etc modes to run their own promotions and angles

I'd honestly recommend trying the mode without any mods or custom wrestlers first just to get a feel for it, to better understand how it's meant to be played. Fiddle around with it before you dive in. It's not a horribly deep, complex mode, but it's a good idea to understand what the mode is before you start really trying to get into it.
Fire Promoter--while fun and almost kinda zen-like if you fall into a little booking groove--is not best viewed as a booking simulator. It's not a booking sim first and foremost. It's a tycoon game. You're not trying to book feuds and wrestling matches, you're not even really trying to tell stories. Those are a means to an end. The player's goal in Fire Promoter is to manage a successful wrestling company and turn a profit.
It's not a game mode about booking Wrestler X vs. Mr. Y and developing the story of their heated rivalry. It's better viewed as, like. You're put in charge of this scrappy underdog wrestling team and there are a bunch of other wrestling teams that you're competing against to see who can make the most money, steal the most titles, and be the most popular. Which, if you're doing it competently and don't get screwed over by the RNG, tends to turn out in your favor by year...four-ish on the hardest difficulty.
If you want to use Fire Promoter to simulate a living world for your edits and promotions, you totally can within certain limitations. But that's not what the mode is really designed to be. If you go into it expecting a booking sim, you'll be kinda disappointed. It's not TEW, it's not EWR. But if you go into it expecting a pretty simple, reasonably fun tycoon game you can probably come to appreciate it on its own merits.

I managed to configure a Boxing Promoter run, and that turned out to be exceedingly entertaining, keeping along the same lines as mentioned above, that you're running a promotion to compete primarily with other promotions instead of doing something akin to a Universe Mode. criticalclub.com/post/30261/thread
