Hey omen good to see you. Your Taz takedown into hammerlock might be my favorite move in the entire steam workshop! Keep up the good work man!

i have a new problem. sometimes after submissions, the defender will just stand right up after the move is done. i can not figure this out. im using other moves as examples and i cant see what im doing wrong. its pretty disheartening also hi bfx! The final Defender frame/form has to be 00100 if they're Face Up or 00101 Face Down. I was having a hard time with this myself while making a Hercules Rack submission.

Two ideas: 1) Either you didn't put one of these as the final frame of the move: 100 - wrestler lying flat on back 101 - wrestler lying flat on face This happens to me a lot when I copy/paste parts of other moves into a new move I'm working on. Often I'll accidentally delete the last frame and I think you need that to keep the defender on the ground. OR 2) You are running into the same exact problem I have. I'm still not sure how to guarantee a defender stays down long enough though. It seems every default move has 100/101 only set to 1 second. Maybe we're supposed to set up the last few frames like this if we want a long sell: Second to last frame: 100/101: 10+ seconds Last frame: 100/101: 1 second

Those were my guesses too, Geese.
In the case of the former, it fixed my Hercules Rack. I haven't tried to make any other submissions outside of the Possession.

Maybe we're supposed to set up the last few frames like this if we want a long sell: Second to last frame: 100/101: 10+ seconds Last frame: 100/101: 1 second The only thing I'd be wary of is if it's too long, it might prevent you from interacting with the defender properly. I haven't messed much with doing "outside the norm" things with longer 100/101 frames.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that issue when I said that despite acknowledging it before lol 🤦♂️
I've definitely experienced the defender being "untouchable" on the ground during their final recovery frames when the attacker finishes their animations first. You can't pin the defender at all. Granted, that's not an issue in Omen's case but in general this poses a problem. I don't know if there's any way to ensure an opponent stays down longer but can also be interacted with right after the animation of the move is longer.

You could stitch the specific followup move to to it, like the "into a pinfall" variants in KOC, but it would hamper you from using the move in different ways unless you want to make a new version of it for every situation. Although, knowing you, you might, haha.

LOL you know me so well since i was literally thinking: "Just make a pin version for every move that doesn't have opponent stay down long enough" 😁
Then I started thinking: "maybe I can find a way to toss an oosotogari in between the move and the pin" 🤣

Holy crap that was it! I thought that copy/paste was pretty safe but i guess i must've modified some frames somehow.
i love you all deeply

Very glad that you got it working! 👏
I'm constantly accidentally modifying things in Move Craft. I keep modifying the default frames into custom frames by accidentally rolling my mouse wheel when my cursor is hovering over the animation library. The same happens sometimes when I'm over the parts library. If you have your cursor over some of the parts in Move Craft, and you mouse scroll up or down, you can sometimes modify the part rather than actually scroll!
It's really annoying actually 🤦♂️

i think thats exactly what happened

I save constantly so that if I have any doubt that I accidentally messed with a form, I just reload the move.
(That's getting to be less of a solution as the long list of moves grows 😁 )
I usually mess up the animation and/or parts forms accidentally an average of 10 times while working on it.
That mouse cursor sensitivity has a hair trigger!

i have a new old problem. When i create a move that leads into and MMA position of any kind, the characters suddenly flip direction once the transition occurs. Has anyone encountered this problem?

I had this problem when making my Oosotogari into Top Mount move a week ago.
I'm not 1000% sure but I think this was the problem that I had which I was easily able to fix:
I used the wrong settings in the "Plus" library.
If you want to transition from a front grapple move into a top mount, make sure you set it as:
AS: 5 (Guard Position: Attacker) AS: 6 (Guard Position: Defender)
I think I had the wrong settings for Attacker. Once I changed it, I didn't see the horizontal swap anymore.

very different kind of request here.
so ive been working on my "signature punch" series in move craft (intransigent_omen13 on steam btw you should check it out) and im looking for help finding matches where there are strike exchanges between wrestlers in western companies.
these things are easy to find in japanese wrestling, but far more rare in the west. can anyone help?
