Hey All
So I am replaying wrestlemania 1 and I did the SD Jones match against King Kong Bundy and not only did SD Jones win he seemed to dominate. what settings on a wrestler can I mess with to make it less likely that a jobber like SD Jones does not beat someone like King Kong Bundy?

Short answer: almost all of them.
Longer answer: Almost everything about a wrestler can potentially effect the outcome of a match. It all depends on everything else. Making one parameter really high can be a game changer if the wrestler in question uses it a lot. Making tons of skills or parameters super high could have no effect if they aren't being used.
Logic makes a difference because a wrestler designed to have a "good match" probably won't be trying to axe murder his opponent at the earliest opportunity, so he might lose to a "worse" wrestler than a guy who just constantly smashes opponents with his best move.
Even fighting styles can make a difference because they control what moves will tire a wrestler out (among other things) which can be a difference maker in a close match. Fighting and counter styles also have synergy, which can cause a wrestler to counter less if they don't go together - a technician with the Giant counter style won't counter shit, for example (this isn't a horrible way to set up a "jobber" type). That won't change whether they WIN grapples, but it can still be a huge difference maker.
One thing you CAN'T affect is who wins grapples. This game isn't trying to "work" a match, and both guys are gonna win if they can. One thing that CAN be done is to give "underneath" guys almost exclusively stuff that doesn't take the opponent off their feet, which makes it harder for them to "take over."
So in short, you can't make a guy not win grapples, but everything else can potentially affect who wins.
