Anyone recommend the best settings. I use the game to watch matches as a sim. But when I watch matches it seems everytime someone throws someone into the ropes they just run back and stop in place. I see others videos and they drop kicks, all types of moves off the ropes. Is that a settings deal?

There are a lot of factors in play. Defaults, downloads or your own creations? Are they MMA or pro wrestlers? What match type?
Start with those and we can help you.

I'm not sure how relevant or useful this is to you, but my level of difficulty is at 8 and I increase the speed to 125%. Seems to work best for me.
I feel like the quality of your simming will have far more to do with how the editmaker tweaked his/her logic, and less about your general settings.

The specific issue with the running to the ropes is what I was more curious about, and trying to help with.
8 is I think the canon for most simming I think. Some people use 125 speed too, I dislike like it as I find movement to be strange. I find 8 to be perfect for simming.
I play on 6 if I want to book the winner and still play, I use 8-9 if I want to play and I don't care who wins and I use 10 rarely because if I only play it occasionally, I can still lose once in a while.

I use 4 and 100% and it works fine for me. Have you checked settings on the edits you're using?
