okay this might be a dumb question. ive been with the game since early access day 1 and ive only occasionally dabbled with mods. how are people implementing all these new craft parts and entrance themes? without mods you essentially have to make your own edit copy of a downloaded edit right? no way around this right?
with mods if you change entrance themes of downloaded edits do the themes stay intact once you uninstall mods or do they reset to default? i remember entrance theme changing being a big benefit for the mod pack.

In Vanilla/Unpatched, entrance themes that have the same name as a downloaded edit will be automatically assigned to them if their song isn't present in the BGM folder. In the Mod Pack, pressing Easy Theme Assign will automatically 1) assign themes that are the same name as the edit, and 2) move those files to a WrestlerThemes subfolder, which will render them unusable in Vanilla/Unpatched because the game doesn't recognize subfolders for entrance themes.

In the base game, any downloaded edit needs to have a theme song assigned before hand. Then you add a file with the same name in your BGM folder, and the game will pick it up. If the downloaded edit doesn't have an assigned song, then you need to make a copy and assign it yourself.

I think I just wantesed validation that I'm not kookoo for making copies of edits so I can change their gear and music. Really stupid the game doesnt allow you to change music for edits by defauktlt.

It really is a dumb system. It's tedious. I don't want to spend all day copying and re-assigning music tracks. It should be something you can do in like 10 seconds per Edit.
I hope Spike is able to somehow change and simplify this before they abandon support for the game. It's on my very short list of quality-of-life things that I'd love to see happen.
