Just curious as I go through the steam workshop and the 9 million caws. Who is the best out their? Your go to guy for WWE and WCW guys? Looking for caws where the moves are authentic and if they added their music even better but I guess I could do that myself.

I think that TheAvenger3's edits are very well done, and he has a lot of them. Here is a link to his collections, if you want to check him out: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198088484772/myworkshopfiles/?section=collections&appid=564230

The avenger is the go to guy for real life edits and he’s just finishing off WCW and WWF but Senator Phillips is very good as well
There’s no limit as such, but people have said their game crashes once the get into the 5000+ range

I might never get off it. Super excited to create so many different federations or groups whatever they call them.

For each promotion/federation/whatever I’d probably recommend to pick a edit maker and stick to just them for that group. If you are simming which is what 95% of people do then different edit makers edits don’t always play well with others
Everyone has a unique style and that can clash and impact match ratings

I was thinking of having a WWE, WCW, AEW, and ECW and have them have their own belts and be separate is that possible? I am very new to this all

You’ll also be able to get logos and ring graphics from him too

I downloaded a bunch of stuff now gonna create some promotions for each one and figure out how to transfer over each wrestler one by one.

Everytime I open the game it downloads the 1518 files. Is there a way I can make the files permanent on my machine so it does not have to do that? It makes me feel like if someone deletes on of the wrestlers they made i have I will lose them also. how can i prevent that?

Staubhold did mention recently that he would make copies of the edits and ring mats he downloaded, then unsubscribe from them, and end up having those (copy) edits on his HDD instead of downloading them every time I've never tried that so I can't confirm it works, but I think it's worth bringing up

Yes, this works. For wrestlers I go to "Create New Edit" > "Model Wrestler" and choose the downloaded Edit... I create a copy. That way I can edit the wrestler myself, p.e. apply another entrance theme, edit the attires, etc.
For ring parts or logos I open up the folder Steam > steamapps > common > Fire Pro Wrestling World and then Decal or Logo. There I create a copy of the Decal/Logo, rename it and then unsubscribe the Decal/Logo.
That way I've everything on my HDD, but I don't get any updates from the specific authors. No problem for me. If I catch that, I subscribe the wrestler again to see what's new and apply it to the old copied one or just create a new copy, overwrite the old one.
I have 46 different rings & 900+ wrestlers... and before the new "Parts Craft" DLC my game had to download 12 items. Strangely you can´t copy referees, those are the 12 items...

Bit late to the party...but a name that hasn't been thrown out yet for PS4...actually 2...paimrino7 and Miguel Francisca.
I especially like paimrino7 because I am a fan of old school puroresu and he has a lot of classic Japanese wrestlers. He has specifically made a lot of model wrestlers from FPR.
I usually don't use real names often...so I my approach is to subscribe, create a model and unsubscribe. (I do NOT upload to the edit suite, so no plagiarism).
e.g. I downloaded paimrino7's Antonio Inoki, created a model, renamed as Victory Musashi (name in FPR) and unsubscribed from paimrino7's version and I then have Musashi to edit myself (red track pants and a red and white NJPW shirt as an alternate attire) without anything done by paimrino7 affecting what I have.
