Hi Folks,
I've been messing around with the King of Colosseum games here and there recently. I have a question about King of Colosseum Red/Green. I remember buying it when it was first released way back when, and creating a lot of full edits. Enough so that I remember when Green was released, I had to delete a few from my original Red save to make room for the guys that Green opened up the possibility of creating. So here's my question...
I could've sworn that there were mostly-premade wrestler samples to choose from when creating an edit, for the usual guys you'd expect, like Inoki, Johnny Ace, Gary Albright, etc., where all you had to do was select them, and the game would load up their looks, moves, and logic, and all you'd have to do was save them and then boom, done.
Am I mistaken? I was between stints of college back in 2002/2003, so I did have a lot of free time, but I really cannot imagine that I spent the time it would take to create 100 edits by hand, especially considering my knowledge of Fire Pro and Japan was much less at the time. I can't seem to find any reference to presets in the old FAQs on Gamefaqs.
Can anyone confirm or shed some light on this? I am almost certain the presets were in King of Colosseum 2, but were they in Red/Green as well?

I want to say yes, but now that I'm thinking about it, I may be thinking more about 2; when I envision it, it's definitely KOC 2. I still really wanna say there were though.

I know I had edits of guys like Willie Williams and Everett Eddy back on KOC Red. And I can't imagine making either of those guys if most of the work wasn't done for me. Lol.
Someone has to know for sure.

I remember in KOC 2 they had the templates & it was easier to put everybody together. Now for KOC Red & green it's another story I know there's hidden names like Bison Smith & Bull Schmidt (he was in NOAH back in 01) and then there's also the guys you face in Trial Road. I wish I could make a lot of them like Andre, Murakami, Otsuka & others I posted about it 2 years ago criticalclub.com/thread/343/king-colosseum-red-green-edits This is what I found in trial mode not counting the Vale Tudo AJPW Terry Gordy Andre The Giant NJPW Bas Rutten Jr Wild Pegasus Dynamite Kid Tiger Mask NOAH Bison Smith FMW Hayabusa Jinsei Shinzaki W*ING Kanemura Tetsuhiro Kuroda BattleArts Alexander Otsuka UFO Kazunari Murakami Zero One Yoshiaki Fujiwara Keiji Sakoda Hirotaka Yokoi Kazuhiko Ogasawara Atsushi Onita Tarzan Goto Gerard Gordeau Dan Severn Bob Sapp
