Hi everyone!
I am new to the forums and very excited about the PS4 release on 8-28, but I had some questions that I am unable to find an answer for on Google or YouTube.
What are the default arenas in the game? Are they the same as previous versions of Fire Pro? Also, I know there are match options like Steel Cage, Barbed Wire, Landmine, etc., but how much customization is available in the match options? Can you just do a hardcore match with weapons in a normal ring? Are there elimination matches?
Thanks in advance for any and all replies! :))

The default arenas are as follows:
- Big Garden Arena (which everybody says is modeled off of Madison Square Garden, but which I just don't see aside from the name; I see it more as a catch-all for modern WWE shows than anything else) - SCS Stadium (kind of a happy medium between modern and retro arenas as far as style goes; probably everybody's favorite default arena to sim on, I see it used a whole bunch) - Arena De Universo (a neat little lucha venue with go go dancers lining the entrance ramp) - Spike Dome (kinda the Tokyo Dome with a ramp that goes all the way to the ring apron) - Yurakuen Hall (modeled off of Korakuen Hall, no entrance ramp) - Dojo (a very modern training facility much like the WWE Performance Center)
As to match types, it's pretty much everything we got from Returns (if you're at all familiar). The default match options are basically the same as they were in that game. So you can't, by default, set up a hardcore match, but you could, say, turn off disqualifications, ropebreaks, and count outs to effectively set one up.
You can similarly set up 2/3 Falls matches, submission matches, over-the-top-rope elimination matches, simulated lumberjack matches (turning off the ability to leave the ring and putting a bunch of seconds around the ring), tornado tag team matches, and elimination matches of both the tag team and multi-person variety.
So a little limited, maybe, but still wide enough and interesting enough to not be overly restrictive if you get creative.

Yea Big Garden Arena would really just be Monday Night Raw and the SCS Arena is NXT TV at Full Sail. Universo Arena is like a combo of Arena Mexico and Arena Coliseo

No, that sounds amazing (not limited at all), and was exactly what I was looking for. I remember playing the game starting with 6 Man Scramble import on the Saturn at a friend's house, and then getting FP on GBA, and briefly playing Returns on PS2. I am very excited to play this and finally get a decent wrestling game to play again. Thanks for the information!

This could easily end up being the definitive Fire Pro game.

i wish there were more arenas in the game That's one of my biggest desires for the game, honestly. As someone who doesn't use mods, I'd really love to have more variety in venue options. I would legitimately be more excited for an arena DLC pack than I am for the New Japan DLC. After Fire Promoter, that's the DLC I'd most want. Give me a proper MSG/Omni/Cow Palace/Hammerstein Ballroom/insert-famous-American-arena-here/outdoor-mudshow-arena and I'll happily slap down money for that DLC.

I have no memory of Z other than being heartbroken about how zoomed out the camera was.

Which arenas will have the njpw ring that should come with the dlc? Can that ring be used with all arenas?
