Hi
I’m currently in a trauma unit following a operation, enjoying free morphine and cheese tomato sandwiches
I was wondering if anyone had an recommendations for mouse controlled steam games - I have football manager 2020 and fipro but fancy a new challenge during my recovery time
IM really out of touch with game titles and whats out there as I only really ever play fm, fipro and vice cry modded vice city

In general, a lot of Square games are on Steam now - I think you can play Final Fantasy with just the mouse.
Also, a ton of the 90's Lucasarts and Sierra graphic adventure games are on Steam and are pure mouse only. Games like Loom, Secret of Monkey Island, King's Quest, etc. Those are all winners and the Lucasarts ones have an added sense of humor that you may appreciate right now.
And I just wanted to chime in and say that I hope your recovery goes very well and that you feel better soon 😎

Thanks for your well wishes too 🙏🏻

You are very welcome! 😃
I suppose the only difficulty with Final Fantasy only using the mouse is how to get to the menu screens. Maybe "left click" when you are on the map screen? I'm not quite sure but that could be a hiccup to the plan.
Other than occasionally having to hit F5 to save, the Lucasarts graphic adventure games are all mouse clicking so I really do recommend those. Many of them are uproariously funny as well.

Age of Empires and it's sequels can be played with only the mouse and so can the Sims games. Both series have on screen buttons for everything

If you like Spike Chunsoft, wacky anime hijinks, and murder mysteries presented in visual novel form, you should give Danganronpa a try.
