I mean, I have zero reason to expect they'd take a move out, let alone out of the same game. There have been moves in offshoots (the GBA games, Queen's Special, KOC) that never made it IN, but other than a few obscure ones in SFPWXP (and a handful of things reanimated since then) they haven't really taken any out in 20 years.
They've reNAMED moves with some of the DLCs, with the NJPW one at least, but I'd be extraordinarily surprised if they decided to start taking stuff out now.
It'll be nice to have any bronco buster variant that isn't so overtly X-Pac, though. That's one of the few FP animations that, like, aggressively only works for one character.
Edit: they'll probably call it Sumire-style Bronco Buster, I imagine.

The move would work well for a few others of my edits without the X Pac taunt preceding it.

For me it's not the taunt that makes it hard to use - X-Pac's so synonymous with the move it's easy to handwave it as "yeah that's just what you do before jamming your junk into someone's face"
imo it's the kicks that kill its potential, because now the edit using it has to be a REALLY specific kind of martial artsy dickhead

Yeah, the move has too much X-Pac in it for me to have ever wanted to use it for edits that it would make sense for.
Goose Army are always up to no good but I just can't see them using those X-Pac kicks.
I gotta draw the line somewhere as to their profanity! 😁

I know for certain that Himiko Irota is getting the Sumire-style Bronco Buster.
That's her entire schtick: To be as obnoxious as possible. The X-Pac version works, but the kicks make it hard to use because this particular edit doesn't really have an arsenal of kicks.

They did sorta kinda remove a move when they re-animated Tanahashi’s High Fly Flow (to grounded opponent). When the NJPW DLC first came out he had this janky looking version that I actually quite liked even if it looked nothing like Tana’s xD
Now that move is no longer in the game which is a bit of a shame.

New Bronco Buster confirmed so you guys can relax :) Also, little Saya's pin, big Says's running moonsault, AZM's pin, Natsuko Tora's Splash, 100% winrate triangle lancer, Giulia's Glorious Buster, Tam's high angle tiger suplex. I think the other moves are already in the game... correct me if I'm wrong :)

Man that triangle lancer looks sick! Death's face paint, t-shirt parts and taunts will also be put to good use. :) All of the new moves look great. I'm hyped for this! :D

I'm kind of amazed that they animated the bridge on that pin to be facing the camera. Super unorthodox for fire pro

Those new moves look fantastic, well worth the cost of the DLC alone IMO.
Though I’d pay double for new strike exchange moves... why do they forsake me like this when they’d be so easy to implement?!

No Back Grapple O'Connor Roll for Yama-san might be the biggest disappointment in the entire DLC.
I'm 100% certain she's never done the Code Red ever.
Code Red isn't even close to an O'Connor Roll.
Goddammit, this is going to bug me forever.

I don't even know what those are without looking them up but you can tell how the two moves, the one in real life and then the one in the game, in the trailer aren't even close to being similar.
