"The Mercenary in Exile" Renate Barlowe Region: Africa, Hailing from Alberquerque, New Mexico by way of Pretoria, South Africa Finisher/Signatures: Mercenary Lock(Scissored heel hook), various flying kneebars Theme: Escape from New York Theme, by John Carpenter www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujpaThoVNt8Entrance Details: A slow walk to the ring followed by the Neck Cutting Pose in the middle of the ring. Link: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1416562081Bio: Daughter of a Dutch mother and English father, and born in South Africa, Renate Barlowe traveled across Africa from a young age, making many connections. When her parents were killed in a terrorist attack during her teen years, she vowed to never be weak again, and sought out some of her old connections, training as a mercenary. Barlowe generally brokered deals, but was not afraid to get herself involved, physically, if needed, and if the pay was good enough. Through the years, Barlowe was careful to play all sides against each other, never making too many permanent enemies, or inconvenient allies. However, as she grew older, she also realized that her lifestyle was becoming increasingly dangerous, and decided to seek out another avenue for her skillset. Barlowe settled upon pro wrestling, with her excellent combat grappling skills and old connections giving her a route into the industry. However, old habits never die out, and Barlowe continues to serve as a mercenary of a sort within the world of wrestling, offering to do whatever is necessary...so long as the pay is good enough. Barlowe has come close to title contention in Pan AFrican Wrestling on multiple occasions, once taking a bribe from King Bemba to offer minimal resistance and has feuded with Aoife Daley in Universal Combat Shoot Style as well.

Oh, hello, all. Ran some tests yesterday. :)
For the most part, everyone was simming very well, and the list of entrants has been updated accordingly.
I also have come to realize that, well, getting 32 original edits from 32 separate creators is quite the ask. So, I'm up for having up to two edits per person, if they're interested. You can post a new post or edit your old one if you've already entered someone into the tournament. I would just ask that, if possible, you try to spread out what region your edits are representing, but no big deal if not.
gambler: For the most part, Barrett simmed well, and put on some good matches. His special skill combined with a Power of 7/a high Rough param slightly worries me against, say, female-sized edits, but it isn't too much to be overly-concerned about or enough to, say, make him ineligible. Just something to consider from the batch of tests I was doing yesterday. :)
markrocker: Unfortunately, my dude, I just can't recreate someone from the PS4 version a la the old formula days. It's just too much of an ask when I can so easily just download edits from the Workshop.
FM: Unfortunately Axl Evermore just felt far, far too OP compared to the rest of the field, as well a handful of other edits I simmed him against whom I consider reliable hands to sim good, competitive matches. He was absolutely obliterating people left and right, and it wouldn't be particularly fair, or entertaining to have him in the field.

I'll either enter Della Dwight or Lutadora Festiva for my second pick, I'll let you know which one once I get Festiva fully completed within the next few days.
EDIT: I'll enter Festiva for sure, so save a spot in South America.

Let's go ahead and do the official thing, then. EDIT NAME: SATOMI REGION/HAILING FROM: Asia (Fukuoka, Japan) Finishing/Signature Moves: SATOMI Driver (Leg Clutch Driver), Nagata Lock III (or Rings of Saturn if you prefer), Nomisugi Knee Theme Song: drive.google.com/open?id=1Wn6xCPAOo5Tlcg3wIFsHiururzG4HFB9Entrance Craft Details: Performance: gyazo.com/ab9c9fce5250c02e083f42e7f6892e64Venue Equipment: gyazo.com/9abae9451d7bfacc00cc4660e075aeb7Camera: gyazo.com/eb646bdcaa12a121d5c6b4e86e38d9e9Short Bio: SATOMI (real name Satomi Tachibana) came to the U.S. from Fukuoka, Japan, with a strong martial arts background tempering her in-ring style. Her devastating kicks are her main focus, but her agility allows her to mix in some quick ranas, and she's also developed a few dangerous submissions to round out her offense. SATOMI is somewhat of an arrogant young wrestler, however: her primary goal being to show that she is better than anyone, and insists that in time, she will wipe out everyone in her path, and become one of Phoenix Rising's most dangerous wrestlers... and, perhaps, the rest of the world, as well. I assume this is for the PC version, right? I need to know because I may have to send you the info written down since I have the PS4 version. Just in case, let me reserve a spot in south america.
If you'd like, I could create the edit for you and upload to Steam on your behalf. That is, if you don't mind sending me a detailed template? You might have to wait a few days but I'd likely have it done by the end of the week.
