2020 Critical! Club World Cup (Currently Taking Sign-Ups)

If you do not remember, back at the website we do not talk about I ran a little World Cup tournament about a year and a half ago, and I personally had quite a lot of fun with it. It seems most everyone else did, too. And, well, why not run it again? So, below you'll find all you need with regards to sign-up information, questions you may have, etc.

2020 CRITICAL CLUB! PRO WRESTLING WORLD CUP DETAILS


32 Person Tournament with 8 Groups of 4 Wrestlers Each.
Round Robin Format. 3 Points Per Win, 2 Points for Draws, 1 Point for Losses. Top Two Wrestlers Per Group Advance into Single Elimination Rounds.
30 Minute Time Limit Matches During Round Robin Stage, No Time Limit in Elimination Rounds.
It's a World Cup format. Listen, you know how this works. If you don't, read up on it.


GEOGRAPHICAL REGIONS ALLOCATIONS: 
North America: 10 Wrestlers
Asia/Oceania: 8 Wrestlers
Europe: 6 Wrestlers
Africa: 4 Wrestlers
South America: 2 Wrestlers
Other: 2 Wrestlers

These allocations may change as we get more or less participants per area, but, hey, man, this is a fictional World Cup tournament for fictional edits so, like, you wanna enter someone from Hell? Please, do.

No former World Cup participants. I'm taking you on good faith here. Plus, 

200 Point Limit
Third-Tier Skills (Reborn, Do or Die, Hardbody, Etc.) Prohibited (unless I have the utmost faith you can balance the edit, prove you can, and said edit isn't just trouncing everyone.)
Up to two edits per entrant, preferred the edits be from different regions.

I'll be testing edits, obviously. This is all in good fun, lest I remind you. I don't feel like I have to remind about 99% of you. But, y'know. Don't be dinks. Have fun. Although this is an elimination tournament eventually, I will do my darnedest to make sure every edit gets time to shine. Just by the very nature of the tournament, of course those who get deeper into the tournament will have more screentime. If you just make an edit to win this tournament, well, you're kinda a dick and I question your life choices. Just be cool and have fun, yeah? I'm gonna be looking for personality and edits that are fun to watch just as much as I am sound logic and edits that sim fairly against others. Cool? Cool.


Projected Start Date/Length of Tournament: Late January, with aims to have it wrapped up in a few weeks, tops. Ideally, honestly, I'd like to bang out the round robins in, say, two nights, or over the span of two weeks via two long-ish streams, then possibly do the same for the elimination rounds.
