Amazon-1 40: Muerte vs Martinez
The night began with Amazon-1 Matchmaker Lucy Gold addressing the fans at home, saying that Amazon-1's storage locker was broken into and the ring vandalized, giving thanks to Corey O'Brian and Xander Starr of DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo for loaning their own ring for A-1 to use tonight; before she could throw off to the in-ring action, Linda Parker would approach Lucy Gold asking for a moment of her time, but Gold would blow her off, saying that she has to make a statement to the Broward Sherrif's Office before demanding Bonnie Blair's attorney leave her office. In the ring, six-woman tag action as Lara Lockhart, Sandra Lavender, and Zara Al-Harbi faced off against the expanded Submissionaries in back and forth action. In the end it was the Angel Witch that would score a knockout win for the makeshift team, putting down Andi Harms with her "Bell, Book, and Candle" (Okada Neckbreaker). In a fast-paced slugfest, Annie Bell-Lee would manage to fell the always dangerous Death Machine II with a corner lariat followed by "Momento Mori" (Firewoman's Carry Driver). KANABO scored a huge win over veteran Ruth Sampson who survived many a lariat from the strong style specialist but eventually fell to "Sliding K" (Sliding Lariat). In the back a reporter from the Sun-Sentinel would approach Rebecca Requiem, trying to find out what condition Lumpy Martinez has that merits her having a medicinal marijuana prescription; Requiem took offense to the question and got hostile, her attitude getting worse when asked to comment on the rumors that Bonnie Blair is lobbying for a Grand Championship shot thinking that Lumpy Martinez will lose tonight. Blair herself would intervene, reminding the reporter that she's been told to stay out of her business and to expect a call from Linda Parker. Back to the action as Mercy Toombs and TEK*GIRL Saiba would look to avenge Toombs' loss in her return match as they faced off against Bonnie Blair and Rebecca Requiem. Despite Blair's Army using their usual dirty tactics and Blair trying to make a repeat of history with a magistral while holding onto Toombs' belt for added leverage, but the Woman In Black would endure. In the end though it was the Cyberpunk Idol who would get the win, pinning Blair with "Deus Ex" (Phoenix Senton). Ripper Reno and Big Jen Stone would face off in a heated duel, Big Jen's power not being enough to overcome the killer instinct of Ripper Reno and the Wasteland Mistress would submit Big Jen with "Slave Tamer" (Modified Half Crab). Next was the tag team title match as the makeshift team of Kelly Condor and Julia San Romero battled the dominant duo of For Club and Country. For 35 minutes the teams would go to war with neither side giving an inch over the other. However in the end it was San Romero, the still unsigned rookie, who would repeat her amazing upset in the Amazon-1 Grand Prix with a "Spirit Splash" (Frog Splash) to the massive Elizabeth Tower. Condor and San Romero both win their first ever championships. Holly Houghton would lose her cool after the match, throwing the empty seats around and taking swings at camerapersons before security would drag her out. Backstage Kathy Queen would have some words for Alena Sturmbjorn ahead of their No DQ match. Queen would claim she understood the reason for Sturmbjorn's newfound aggression: Sturmbjorn's boyfriend is back in Finland and "you've got nothing but your big war club to keep you company". Queen would make some lewd statements about Alena's choice of weaponry before daring Alena to try to beat her without using any hardware. Alena didn't bring her war club to her tonight but she did bring a massive HAMMER instead, however the statements from Amazon-1's Ace of Spades seemed to have gotten in her head as she tossed it into the middle of the ring for the fight. Despite this the fight would get physical and dirty, Queen using her usual mindgames and ruthless tactics while the Scandinavian warrior would use her size and brute force. After Kathy kicked out of the "Runestone Piledriver" (One Winged Angel) Alena Sturmbjorn seemed torn between using the hammer she brought into the ring or her "Warhammer" knee strike, and this indecision played right into Kathy Queen's hands, as she fell the viking with "Mind Flayer" (Complete Shot) for the three count. Last it was the Amazon-1 Grand Championship as Hija del Santa Muerte looked to ride the momentum of winning the A-1 Grand Prix by unseating the champion Lumpy Martinez. Before the match Linda Parker would hand referee Cindi Slam a paper affirming that the Florida State Athletic Commission has declared this also to be a No DQ match... but as Bonnie Blair and Rebecca Requiem emerged from the back as well Slam put two and two together and banned Blair's Army from ringside, Lucy Gold coming out and threatening to strip Martinez of the title if they don't comply. What this left us with was an absolutely thrilling encounter, Santa Muerte surviving multiple "Sugar Lump"s (Darkness Falls) and nearly getting the submission with her praying powerbomb and "La Rosa Del Entiero" (Arm Trap Hammerlock Stranglehold). But the champion wouldn't give up her title that easily and in the end it was "Knee & Chong" (Running Knee Strike) right on the chin that would allow Lumpy to retain. 1. So, I was supposed to make a statement at the show live, but as some of my Twitch followers know, my brother had a medical emergency... not COVID related. He's fine now, and I'll be resuming my streaming schedule shortly. Anyway, so what I was going to say at the show is that what happened at the Capitol was a terrible travesty, and that the people responsible will be punished. America is stronger than any mob, and our country will endure this test like it has all others. But... it's since come to my attention that Jon Schaffer, the guitarist who plays the version of our national anthem that I've been using, that me and Zara Al-Harbi have been using together... was part of that mob. So, well, I won't be using it anymore. I originally was going to use another version of the Star Spangled Banner, but after talking with Zara, we've agreed to go a different route. See, the thing about Zara and I... we love America, even though America hasn't always loved us. We are proud patriots not because of what America is, but the promise of America. Liberty, equality, prosperity for all. And we believe that what it means to be a patriot is to love your country enough that you push for it to live up to it's promises. That you want your country to be better. So I decided, with Zara's agreement, that instead of another version of the Star Spangled Banner, we're going to use a song about police brutality in America. It's a topic that we both feel strongly about, and is about fulfilling that promise of America. This country was founded on speaking truth to power and I feel that doing so is a stronger way to express our patriotism than simply using another version of the anthem. We're going to get hate for it. I'm used to that, Zara is used to that. But we believe America can be better. Let's make 2021 the year America lives up to it's promises. Before I go, have one more thing to say. Kelly, Julia, congrats. You two put up a hell of a fight to win those tag belts. And Kelly girl, you've been long overdue for recognition for how long you've busted your ass for this company. But the All-American Girls, we want that gold back. The circumstances that have led to Miss Martinez being prescribed marijuana for medicinal use is a very private matter, and this privacy is taken very seriously, especially by Miss Requiem, who has known Miss Martinez since they were toddlers. Amazon-1 41: Return of the Dungeon
The night began with a special dark match with a shocking upset, as rookie from DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo Kellie Shark got a huge win over the legendary Ruth Sampson with her dynamic Sharknado finisher. Blair's Army looked to rebound against the makeshift trio of Hija Del Santa Muerte, Lara Lockhart, and Gina Teller but Lockhart managed to pin the former two-time Grand Champion Bonnie Blair with BloodRayne.
Andi Harms avenged her KO loss so Sandra Lavender with a vicious backdrop, and not to be outdone her Submissionaries tag partner Terra defeated WMD's Mortebella with a backdrop of her own, this time off the top rope.
In a chaotic tag battle the former champs For Club and Country battled with the hard hitting KANABO and Death Machine II, but after a double backdrop on Holly Houghton, the massive Elizabeth Tower hit the legal KANABO with a flying knee drop to score a pinfall. The following match was just as wild and chaotic with Alena Sturmbjorn and Big Jen Stone managing to take each other's most brutal offense, eventually Big Jen and Alena would fight on the floor and Big Jen would catch Alena in a rear naked choke, putting Alena to sleep and just barely beating the 20 count to win.
The newly-minted A-1 Tag Champs Kelly Condor and Julia San Romero managed to knock off former champs The All-American Girls in an excellent back and forth battle with not one but two Condor Drops to Zara Al-Harbi. Three-way action was next and while Ripper Reno would submit TEK*GIRL Saiba with the Slave Tamer it was Anna Bell-Lee who would come out on top thanks to the Momento Mori.
During a brief intermission, For Club And Country would be seen backstage confronting the tag champs. Holly Houghton noted that Julia San Romero was offered a long-term contract by Amazon-1. Julia acknowledged she was probably going to sign it, but Houghton countered with a proposal, that they face off in A-1 42 for the tag belts, but For Club and Country would put BOTH of their contracts on the line against Julia's (and only Julia's), "And we'll rip it up in front of your face". San Romero didn't seem that interested but Houghton egged her on saying "well then maybe you don't really belong here". Julia stood up and Houghton headbutted her in response, requiring other wrestlers to step in and seperate the two teams... and Julia would accept the challenge.
Finally it was time for Queen's Dungeon as weapons littered the ring, light tube boards placed on the corners, and a fifteen foot high steel cage keeping Kathy Queen and Grand Champion Lumpy Martinez in and Blair's Army out. The two didn't go for the weapons very often strangely enough, but that didn't mean the action wasn't intense as both women brought some of their most vicious offense. Martinez would hit one of the barbed wire bats strewn only for it to turn out be an EXPLODING bat, casuing her to bleed profusely, but in the end despite eating the Queen's Landing, Mind Flayer, and Eat At Kate's, the champ would retain thanks to her trusty 420 Splash.
After the cage was raised and Rebecca Requiem came out to help her friend to the back to celebrate, Kathy Queen would slowly get to her feet... only to get belted from behind by Alena Sturmbjorn with a light tube! A Warhammer knee followed and then the barbarian would grab the exploding bat and hammer Queen over the back repeatedly with it, to the point where the explosives stopped going off. Queen's boyfriend William King would rush out with a chair and Alena would back off, King tending to his Queen as the cameras stopped rolling.

The show began with a pre-show battle as rookie Lucy Morgenstern went up against the infamous Maxine Warner. The DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo graduate fought well but was out of her depth, falling to Ṫ̷̙̳̂̏Ȟ̸̜͐E̷̜͂ ̸̻͑͜ͅD̵̢̨͘͝Ḙ̸͇̙̐̒S̴̢̗̱̅T̴͇͌͛R̵̥̥̝̾O̴͇̺̿͝Y̵̪͈̐̾E̸̥̅Ŗ̷̦̅'s Bunny Hop finisher. Backstage, Blair's Army conducted an interview. Lumpy Martinez read a statement where she retracted her claim of being the best Grand Champion, saying that honor is rightfully Bonnie Blair's, while her best friend Rebecca Requiem shook her head in frustration. Linda Parker then cited an interview last year where Annie Bell-Lee said she could take on all of Blair's Army by herself, and produced an edict from the Florida State Athletic Commission: The Amazon-1 Grand Championship match is now a handicap match as The Living Dead Girl will now be facing Lumpy Martinez... and Bonnie Blair. Six-Woman tag action followed as Ruth Sampson, Sandra Lavender, and Zara Al-Harbi battled Death Machine II, Gina Teller and Marie St.Dumas with the Ruthless One submitting St. Dumas with Modern R't. Rebecca Requiem looked to make a statement against KANABO but after a hard hitting battle fell to a flying elbow. The Reinas de la Calles made a return to Amazon-1 with a statement beating the Submissionaries in a back and forth contest. Lara Lockhart had prepared to face off against Bonnie Blair as a result of her victory over The Baroness last month but instead faced Linda Parker, thrown off her game would fall victim to a Prada Kick to the back of the head for the three count. In a three way dance Big Jen would submit her rival as of late Ripper Reno with the Oakland Crab but found herself pinned by TEK*GIRL Saiba's VR Clutch. The Amazon-1 Tag Titles would change hands after a 45-minute war as For Club and Country regained the gold over Kelly Condor and Julia San Romero thanks to a thunderous Thames River Plunge on Condor. This earned the British duo the right to tear up Julia San Romero's contract before she could sign it, but to add insult to injury forced the rookie cheerleader to tear it up before literally rubbing the torn contract in her face. Grand Championship was next on the line and while Annie Bell-Lee gave it her all the combination of champion Lumpy Martinez and the opportunistic Bonnie Blair was just too much even when Marie St. Dumas tried to interject. A Leg Blariat flush to the head of Annie Bell-Lee allowed Blair to get the fall. Lumpy Martinez was initially declared still champion but Linda Parker intervened, showing the ring announcer (and matchmaker Linda Gold) that the edict from the State Athletic commission says whoever wins the fall will become champion... so Bonnie Blair is now a three-time Amazon-1 Grand Champion. Finally it was time for "The Extended Session" as Alena Sturmbjorn and Kathy Queen looked to settle their rivalry. First was the light tube match and even though Queen was bleeding early from repeatedly being thrown onto the glass she got the first fall with the Queenmaker. The Queen's Dungeon was next as new weapons were put in the ring as well some barbed wire boards and lastly a cage. Queen started strong but the barbarian warrior rallied back, eventually delivering a brutal single-hand powerbomb and followed up the Warhammer to tie things up. Finally it was time for Last Woman Standing and exploding barbed wire bats were brought into the mix. After a barbaric war where Queen nearly got the win by repeatedly tornado chopping Alena into the bats, Sturmbjorn hit Kathy Queen with the Warhammer twice... but Queen would get right back up both times! Alena followed up by scoop slamming Queen DIRECTLY ON HER HEAD, and this was just too much for Queen to get up from. The night began with a bonus pre-show match as veteran Queen Bee battled DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo graduate Kellie Shark in a back and forth contest with a Honeycomb Clutch. The battle between Ruth Sampson and Sandra Lavender against Death Machine II and KANABO ended in controversy as the two bruisers beat down Sandra Lavender on the floor and Ruth Sampson just... stood back and watched, Sandra unable to answer the 20 count leading to a countout win for KANABO and Death Machine. After this came Amazon-1 Matchmaker Lucy Gold explaining that TEK*GIRL Saiba ran a fever last night and, while COVID negative, was unable to compete tonight. Therefore and given Alena Sturmbjorn's performances as of late she will be added to the A-1 Grand Championship match in a three way dance. The match to replace the cancelled TEK*GIRL/Alena bout would happen next as Lucy Morgenstern also of DRAGONSUPLEX Dojo fell to a very game Linda Parker with the 450 Splash. Gutter made her return to Amazon-1 with the All American Girls as they knocked off Gina Teller and The Submissionaries when Zara Al-Harbi hit a 450 of her own on Gina Teller. Blair's Army would score another win as Requiem and Martinez (with the help of Linda Parker) managed to best Marie St. Dumas and Lara Lockhart in a marathon battle after Requiem choked out St. Dumas. In a shocking upset, Kelly Condor took everything Kathy Queen could throw at her and caught her with a thunderous Superkick into a jackknife pin for a three count, earning one of the biggest wins in her career and the respect of the Ace of Spades. In a wild brawl Amazon-1 Tag Champs For Club and Country battled rivals Reinas de la Calles, and despite nearly losing the gold in mutliple junctions, it was the champs who came out on top thanks to a PK by Holly Houghton. Ripper Reno brought her slave Flesh to help her fight Big Jen Stone in a No DQ match but after nearly thirty minutes of a bloody brawl that went all over the arena, it was Big Jen who won it with an Electric Chair German. Finally it was the Amazon-1 Grand Championship match as Alena Sturmbjorn joined Annie Bell-Lee and the new champion Bonnie Blair. The action was intense but it seemed like Annie Bell-Lee was destined to finally win back the A-1 Grand Championship, however when she set up for Rigor Mortis Bonnie Blair managed to catch her in a prawn hold, using the hooks on Annie's pants for leverage to get the pin. Amazon-1 44 began with a pre-show bonus match as Lucy Morgenstern gained a huge upset over Ripper Reno with her Pitchfork DDT. Kathy Queen managed to gain some momentum after coming out of a slump with a Queen's Landing over a very game Clockwork Angel and the All American Girls would get a nail-biting win over KANABO and Death Machine II after Zara Al-Harbi caught KANABO with a Jujigatame. Lara Lockhart would look to continue her quest to get a one on one match with Bonnie Blair by besting Linda Parker of Blair's Army; however interference from Lumpy Martinez (countered by a save by Gina Teller) would allow the lethal lawyer to get a win with her Prada Kick. 18 months of mentor and protege relationship imploded as Ruth Sampson faced off against Sandra Lavender, but it was the youngster who got the huge win with Shining Witchcraft. Meanwhile the A-1 tag titles would change hands thanks to the assistance of Linda Parker, the chaos allowing Rebecca Requiem to KO Holly Houghton with her "Go The FUCK 2 Sleep"; despite getting the win however, the martial artist seemed none to happy with the assist. Kelly Condor tried to ride the wave of her landmark win over Kathy Queen but fell to Big Jen Stone who submitted her with the Oakland Crab. Amazon Games was a wild showdown full of twists and turns, including the surprise appearance of Julia San Romero and the return of Bad Judy Stone, and standout performances from Clockwork Angel (who started #1 and stayed in for over 50 minutes) and Terra who got the record 7 eliminations and had a 40+ minute stint. However it was Gina Teller who managed to eliminate Spaghetti Starchild and Camarilla to win the Games and an automatic rise to #1 Contendership. But to see who she would face it would be Bonnie Blair looking to regain the Grand Championship from the newly minted champion Alena Sturmbjorn. The action was hard and fast with Bonnie Blair kicking out of Warhammer and the Runestone Piledriver while nearly getting the win herself with her Blair Trap and Diving Kneedrop, but despite the interference by the rest of Blair's Army, the Warrior Queen would rally back, a press slam, big splash, and a rip cord knee setting up a second Warhammer for the three count. Bonnie Blair furious at losing what may be her last chance at the Grand Championship for a while started browbeating Rebecca Requiem and Lumpy Martinez... who conferred with each other briefly before throwing down with Blair and Linda Parker! The four women would brawl and have to be pulled apart in the end, Bonnie Blair screaming that Requiem and Martinez will pay for turning on her as the night ended. 0. Lucy Morgenstern d. Before the show officially began we kicked things off with Bad Judy Stone getting in the ring with Marie St. Dumas, knocking her out with her new Stone Cutter move. Then, an unexpected surprise as Xander Starr and Corey O'Brian appeared, announcing that with cooperation of the heads of PGCW, A-1, and Magic City Wrestling, they will be selling to vaccinated Floridians only a South Florida United Fan Pass that will be the only way to get a ticket for a show in South Florida from July 1st onward, as a way to circumvent Florida's upcoming law banning business from checking vaccination status. As the show proper started WMD Tag Team champions were crowned in a bloody duel as Double Domme Session defeated MAYHEM after Kathy Queen choked out KANABO with Eat at Kate's. Clockwork Angel had a strong showing against Camarilla but the vicious vampire got the win with Thrall Maker, and The Submissionaries beat All-American Girls thanks to Terra's Groundbreaker. Single action had a show-stealing marathon as TEK*GIRL Saiba went up against Kelly Condor; despite taking multiple Condor Drops the Cyberpunk Idol managed a win middle of the ring with Dumpshock. Lara Lockhart gained a huge upset over Annie Bell-Lee with a Rolling Cutter. The Amazon-1 Tag Team Championship match was controversial as Bonnie Blair noted that due to a loophole, the title match was signed not with Bonnie Blair and Linda Parker as challengers, but Blair's Army, and introduced two new members for the Army, Elizabeth Tower and Ruth Sampson. It was four on two as despite the Santa Monica Wrecking Crew of Rebecca Requiem and Lumpy Martinez put up an amazing fight, the odds were too much and Modern R't scored the submission. However Amazon-1 matchmaker Lucy Gold was having none of that, holding up the titles and announcing a rematch will take place with No DQ Tornado Tag Rules, 2 on 2, Bonnie Blair and one of her cohorts agains tthe Wrecking Crew. Sandra Lavender scored a big upset shattering the winning streak of a very game Big Jen Stone submitting her with Witch Way; and in the main event for the A-1 Grand Championship Gina Teller would come at Alena Sturmbjorn with a plan, targeting the champ's right knee in a bid to take away the Warrior Queen's deadliest weapon... however not even the relentless assault would be enough to stop the Warhammer from winning the day. South Florida United: Fight For Pride
Out of the Culture Room in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Wilton Manors came a free admission (to all vaccinated) event, dubbed Fight For Pride. The show began with a non-title match with PGCW Openweight Champion and his former friend Ben "Loco" Davis, with Davis managing to get a pinfall victory with a schoolboy. Lumpy Martinez managed to get an impressive win over Sandra Lavender with her "420 Splash" (Diving Splash), and the team of Billy Gruff and Jim Fresno bested Psycho Killer and Irwin Rayne when Fresno pinned Rayne with a "Dragon Brainbuster" (Snap Dragon)
In a match dubbed "Aces High" Gutter faced off against THE DESTROYER Maxine Warner in a physical brawl that would suddenly end when Gutter caught Warner by surprise with a crossbody. BLACKBIRD Sora made xer return to the US for one night only as xhe partnered up with old partner Johnny Jones against the Kelley Brothers, but Eric Kelley would manage to pin Johnny Jones with his newest finisher, "Element Zero" (Side Brainbuster). The Magic City Wrestling Heavyweight Title changed hands where, despite multiple "Freddy To Belly"s (Power Belly To Belly), Xander Starr would endure the power of "Psycho Furry" Freddy Newman and deliver "Critical Mass" (Tiger Knee) followed by "Einstein-Rosen Bridge" (Five Star Clutch) for the three count.
Legends collided for the first time in over 15 years as Corey O'Brian battled one of his mentors, The Baltimore Stretcher Jack Panama. The last time they fought it was for the Global Wrestling Entertainment Intercontinental Championship in a submission match with careers on the line as well as the title, a match Corey O'Brian would win to capture his first major US title. The match was a back and forth technical classic, Panama nearly getting the win the "Panama Lock" (Sharpshooter) but Corey got to the ropes and managed to put away the man once known as Jumpin' Jack with the "Death Note" (Backdrop Chokebreaker).
Finally it was a Queen's Dungeon match between "Tomboi" Teri Parker and Kathy Queen, two athletes very involved in LGBTQ+ community events. Barbed wire, kendo sticks, light tubes and blood flew in the steel confines of a cage and despite Queen delivering multiple "Queen's Landing" Moonsaults, The Tomboi endured against the deathmatch veteran, and then xhe delievered a brutal Poison Rana on a barbed wire bat to score a massive upset and xer biggest win of xer career!
