Someone mentioned here ( https://www.reddit.com/r/firepro/comments/8y9plb/installed_the_carlzilla_royal_rumble_mod_and/) that they were having a problem where their Royal Rumbles were becoming 8-Man Tags once everyone else was down. This almost seems like a War Games match! So I was looking into how to recreate it.
It seems like it came from More Match Types being used in conjuction with the Royal Rumble mod. Likely the Elimination setting being on.
If there's a way to combine this with the Steel Cage ring...well...

It's probably due to a bug in the Extended Elimination mod. This should be fixed in the next/final release.

I’ve tried this as well as an elimination chamber type of match.
Cage Royal Rumble or Wargames doesn’t work. When wrestlers come down the ramp to join the fun, they walk “under” the ring. The game doesn’t know how to handle a wrestler joining a cage match, apparently.
Elimination Chamber or Elimination Tags (which is kinda like wargames) sort of work. When someone is eliminated in a cage match, they start to climb the cage and they stay there. It’s pretty comical. They don’t go through the cage, and they don’t climb up it. They just latch on and hang like a barnacle.

Yeah, I could totally see that being advertised on Georgia Championship Wrestling when I was like 10 years old.

With the Iron Man mod, after a fall the game refreshes and the match continues. Would it be possible after the time set to have the game then refresh and when it comes back, the match continues with the extra guy in the ring.

The arena options mod lets you override the arena chosen in-game. I used it to force the cage match arena for an eight-man tag or a royal rumble. |
