The Year is 2049.. The Landscape of Japanese Pro Wrestling as we know it today is still visible in 2049. The foundations of New Japan and All Japan are still going strong, Dragon Gate is showcasing some of the best juniors in the world. DDT is still this insane wacky fun promotion. Really the only big change is Michinoku Pro was bought out and absorbed by Pro Wrestling NOAH in 2025. NOAH has been on the downswing again for the first time sense 2016 as recently NOAH is looking for the stars to replace Kaito Kiyomia, Yoshiki Inamura of the now past. Through the years we've seen the legends of tomorrow's careers come and go but for one man whose post wrestling career journey is where we pick this up.
Hiromu Takahashi!
The now 59 year old man has stepped away from wrestling for 8 years now. His New Japan Career showcased the winning of Championships and main events and a split from Los Ingobernables de Japon with him Shingo Takagi and EVIL splitting away from Naito after SANADA left for WWE and BUSHI was out with an injury during the time of betrayal breaking up LIJ in 2022. New Japan’s Residential Joker was one of the Major Players of New Japan all throughout the 2020's. Hanging it up in 2040, Hiromu Takahashi stayed with New Japan as a commentator always being a delight with his funny antics and colorful suits still sticking with his Timebomb Persona and antics bringing Daryl with him on Commentary. Hiromu started up his own Dojo in 2047 stepping away from Commentary full time to run the Dojo with his Assistant coaches being Shingo Takagi, EVIL with guest appearances from Dragon Lee. 16 students signed on and only 6 of those Graduating in the spring of 2048. The Original have set the standard of what it means to be a Hiromu Takahashi student. One in Particular Kazuhito Kobayashi, Looks to be one of the next great junior heavyweights in the wrestling world.
The Second Class graduated in the fall of of 2048 with 5 of the initial 13 making it through the Dojo. The standout early on the class looks to be Tsuyoshi Wojima a hybrid Junior/Heavyweight being the biggest student ever to graduate from the Dojo at 6’1 225 lbs. He’s looking to break the mold and showcase his incredible strength throwing around the smaller graduates left and right.
The Third and Final class brings us to the fall of 2049. As now the aging Hiromu Takahashi and assistant coaches are starting to lean more towards the previous standout graduates in helping in the training process. Kazuhiro Kobayashi even in just a year and a half of wrestling seems to be wise beyond his years stepping up to being in a leader role for the Dojo stepping up and helping out in ring the best he can. Junichi Taguchi of the first ever class has become the comedian of the Dojo with his constant entertaining antics throughout the day to day living at the Dojo with one major story of taking 55 backdrops in row for the new learning class in one day just to get a pop of his Mentor Hiromu shaking his head in disapproval. So much is unknown from the third class. There’s not one standout yet but it’s still early in the development stage.

With a now 16 Graduates from 3 classes Hiromu close to turning 60 starts pondering how much longer he can run the day to day in and outs of the Dojo. The Students see the uncertainty in his face. Kazuhito gets all of the first-ever class together and pitches the idea for his birthday in December to run a little show as a celebration and a thank you for all he’s done for us.
Graduate Kenji Takatsu “what’s the name going to be are we just the Hiromu Takahashi Dojo?” Kazuhito Kobayashi “I’m not sure anybody got any ideas?” Junichi Taguchi “I”VE GOT IT!” “give me a sec I've gotta make a poster for the visual effect” grabs a red marker and paper from the nearby desk…
Junichi Taguchi
“Kyōki Puroresu!” Sounds Bad Ass right?
Kazuhito Kobayashi “Insanity Pro Wrestling… why am i not surprised” (muttering under his breath) ???? “I LOVE IT!”, As the graduates turn around seeing the man himself Hiromu Takhashi “that’s exactly what we all are a bunch of crazy bastards” “you boys will do me proud hell get all the classes together and tell them Friday December 3 you guys are going to run your own little show for my birthday.” "Don’t forget to bring cake, Daryl and Daryl Jr. love cake!!!" Hiromu goes back out of the room.. Kazuhito Kobayashi “Taguchi round up the classes we’ve got a show to book!” Promotion Title - Kyōki Puroresu (Insanity Pro Wrestling) Location: Hachiōji, Japan Hiromu Takahashi - Trainer/Owner Class 1 Kazuhito Kobayashi Junichi Taguchi Kenji Takatsu Hitoki Yamada Akinori Taillon (The l's are silent) Hideki Mizugaki

I wanted to post a “Kayfabe” lol post real quick for background and questions if you have any. Firstly, hello and welcome to the thread. You might have seen my DWA Thread if so thank you, that’s still going I just had the itch that I haven't had in a long ass time to make some original creations on a fire pro game. The last one I did was on Fire Pro Returns which wasn’t on any scale like this, so probably will be a little rusty but if you guys have any tips or suggestions please share em I’ll most likely very much need them lol. I honestly love making the backstories of the promotion and the wrestlers and I came up with the idea of this from my love of Toryumon. You might see where the actual direction of Kyōki Puroresu is going if you know about Toryumon I won't spoil it yet but it will be shortly revealed. Thinking of who’s going to play the role of what Ultimo Dragon was for Toryumon was pretty tough, my absolute love of Hiromu Takahashi was the first thing to come to mind his age does make some sense to be a trainer, he is a bit on the older side for right now but it’s not impossible. If you guys wanna make anyone for this I’ve already got Classes 4 & 5 already mapped out after that it’s open season, Only request/Demand is he/she has to be at least 21 years old or younger, I'd prefer the edit is of Asain Ethnicity but maybe I can be swayed lol.

Kazuhito Kobyashi (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear) A standout 2 sport athlete in high school, Kazuhtio Kobyashi seems to be favored as being the best natural talent so far in the Dojo. his background in Amateur Wrestling gives him the edge over most of the students, with his love for Pro Wrestling his favorites of Kaito Kiyomia and Kento Miyhara. Kazuhito Kobyashi looks to follow in the footsteps of his idols of becoming the Ace of a Promotion before even hitting the age of 25.
Junichi Taguchi (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear) The Man who created the name and logo with a red marker, Junichi Taguchi grew up as a fan of Comics, Anime and Puroresu with his idol being Hiromu Takahashi. Junichi Taguchi jumped at the opportunity to train under his idol. His wacky colorful personality as made him a favorite among the trainers and trainees he’s the dark horse to become the top Hiromu Takahashi Dojo graduate. To pass time during the dojo he created the Comic, “The Enigma of Baku” based off a Wrestling Persona he thought of as a child named Baku after seeing Jinsei Shinzaki vs. The Great Muta. Baku a supernatural being who devour dreams and nightmares. Will we ever see Baku in an actual ring? time will only tell.
Kenji Takatsu (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear) Growing up a huge fan of the super junior style Kenji Takatsu dreamed of becoming a Pro Wrestler. Kenji Takatsu gained some attention in high school being a backyard wrestler who was once filmed by one of his friends hitting a moonsault off the roof of his house down to mattress laid out on his backyard. Going to Dojo at the request of his backyard wrestling, Kenji Takatsu wants to show love to those who always believed in him requesting his pro wrestling persona be based off his Backyard name combined with his last name as ZeroKatsu. Time will tell how unhinged ZeroKatsu will be for Kyōki Puroresu.
Hitoki Yamada (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear) The tallest of Class 1. Hitoki Yamada brings a fire to the dojo with his striking lariat that many of the Dojo Grads despise with a passion. Leaving welts and bruises on his fellow classmates with his power from chops and lariats. Hitoki Yamada has earned respect and knowledge from what he considers his mentor in Shingo Takagi looking to build the bridge of Power and Speed into his pro wrestling arsenal, Hitoki Yamada seems to have built his spot in class one as the Power and speed blend that Shingo Takagi, Hirooki Goto and Shuji Kondo built for themselves in years past.
Akinori Taillon (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear) If there’s one word to describe Akinori Taillon it would be smooth. Picking up the love of the different submissions to use, being known to put his fellow graduates into tied up pretzel knots. From seemingly from his first day he’s been known to be one of the smoothest in ring out of all of the Dojo Graduates. Akinori Taillon has been linked to former LIJ Member SANADA for his quiet demeanor and uncanny athletic ability and submission skills. He’s got some big shoes to fill with that type of comparison early on in his career but so far he’s up to the challenge.
Hideki Mizugaki (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear) The last and certainly smallest dojo graduate of class 1, Hideki Mizugaki standing at just 5’5 158 lbs is the runt of the class getting the nickname Crash for being the Crash Test Dummy of always being the first one who would have to take all the new moves being learned. Although Hideki Mizugaki is small in stature doesn’t mean he should be taken lightly, having a background in Judo Hideki Mizugaki was a high level grappler in his younger days earning a Brown Belt in Elementary School. Still being a very capable grappler today Hideki Mizugaki will look to use his small size as an advantage to pull his bigger opponents into takedowns and chokes while combing the crazy high flying Super Junior style into his own.

Nori Murakami (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear)
Kicking off The second class, Nori Murakami brings a throwback of the early 70’s NJPW era with a want of being legitimate with painful looking holds and traditional style kicks and strikes. Nori Murakami is a throwback to those days in all aspects with being the only graduate to stay with his traditional gear opting to just make it darker. Murakami is going to do one thing at the Dojo, Not take any shit!
Tsuyoshi Wojima (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear)
The Biggest Graduate to have graduated from the Dojo, Tsuyoshi Wojima has all of the Japanese Wrestling World’s eyes on him to see how this touted blue chip prospect turns into. Tsuyoshi Wojima blurs the lines on what a Heavyweight/Junior is bringing his standout Ameatur Wrestling background going all the way to nationals at 170 lbs his final year of school. Opting into the Pro Wrestling World under the tutelage of Hiromu Takahashi, look out for Wojima to show off his strength throwing around the Dojo Graduates all over the place.Tsuyoshi Wojima is going to look to become a big force in the wrestling world sooner rather than later.
Naomichi Kawajima (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear)
Naomichi Kawajima brings a dangerous Karate background winning a Youth 12 year old tournament as one of his many accomplishments. Acquiring his Yellow belt shortly before joining the Dojo, He looks to bring his different array of kicks while combing his Karate Background with a fundamental understanding of Japanes Pro Wrestling more specifically the ever exciting Super Junior Style. He’s famously broke bags in the Dojo from Kicking with such a force he’s been coined the “Swift Kick of Death” by his fellow graduates.
Kota Horiguchi (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear)
Growing up a huge fan of the New Japan Super Juniors, Kota Horiguchi jumped at the chance to go train under one of his favorites in Hiromu Takahashi even opting to graduate high school early to get an earlier opportunity to be enrolled into the Dojo. Kota Horiguchi is looking to become one of if not the best junior heavyweight in the world and following the stops of many other greats graduating up to heavyweight and becoming one of the best in the entire wrestling world.
Shinichi Sato (Graduate Gear) (Current Gear) (Unmasked Version) The 5th and Final graduate of the second class, Shinichi Sato has grown to be a main protege of Takaaki Watanabe who grew a liking to him seeing a lot of himself in Sato. Shinichi Sato looks to be in the same line as Dick Togo and EVIL as a powerhouse force in a smaller body. Shincihi Sato as put a crazy 20 lbs since he joined the Dojo with his intention of dropping Shinichi from his pro wrestling persona just being SATO. putting together one of the more far out there attires, SATO is born from Darkness and EVIL with a combination of the Satori a mind-reading supernatural monster but as a more devil creature, SATO will look to bring the Insanity to Insanity Pro Wrestling.
