I explained to her how many lives he touched that she does not know idea about. We talked for quite a while and shared stories. It was nice for both of us to learn new things about him. She wanted me to pass a message on to the group. She wanted to thank us for being in his life and giving him joy when things weren't always easy. I told her he did the exact thing for us, and we truly miss him. We love you Ceese and you are greatly missed. Happy birthday brother.

Thank you so much for posting this, Slugg! I am so glad that you told his mother the incredible effect Ceese had on us. And her words for us are incredible to hear. I hope that she and his family and other friends are doing as well as they can under the circumstances. I was thinking of Ceese a few days ago. I noticed that I started to get into the habit of making a ton of alt outfits and realized it was probably a subconscious tribute to him and how much he would have loved the 4 slots per edit and layering. (Seriously, he would have been stylin and profilin all over FPW). I actually didn't realize that yesterday was his Birthday. Happy Birthday, my friend 😎

This is why I wish we had a Ceese-made Julian Caesaro edit in World; An improved version; The Definitive Edition, if you will. It'll never be perfect, but I take solace in having a Returns port of him on my save. If it weren't for the tremendous amount of help Ceese gave me, Emu definitely wouldn't have become what he is today. Ceese is/was a genius in every sense of the word. He took a shoddy edit I had created ten years ago and helped turn it into a "living" character that stands out, and if it wasn't for him (and the others who also helped me), he wouldn't be nearly as popular as he is. I am indebted to him for that, if anything.

Thanks for sharing, Slugg.
I had a very similar experience myself vicariously through my actual father talking with Ceese's mother. During visits with my dad, I had mentioned to him about Ceese and how we came together as a community to support him. Being a very religious person, he mentioned to me on several occasions that he kept Ju-Ju in his prayers every day and managed to contact him a few times before he passed as well as with his family after his passing.
It's definitely one of the most touching moments I have ever experienced online because it affected people on so many levels.
