MFW TV Episode 34 Preview: Hunter v. Curd MFW MOD Title match
A new MFW Champion was crowned last week as "Milwaukee's Beast" Korr Miller became a 2-Time title holder. Will the gold exchange continue this week? Let's look at Thursday's card:
1) 6-Person Tag: MFW Lead Official Hippie Joe & The Hanzschmitt Twins (Ian & Justin) take on Da Yoopers (Susan St. Marie, S.K. Naba and I. Ron Montaine).
The Twins look to continue their winning ways alongside the current boss while the Yoopers are looking for a win to get back on track. This should be a fun opening contest.
2) The Barge faces Ultimo Pinguino ahead of next week's MFW Tag Title match.
Strikes and submissions vie against furious flippers and impact maneuvers. Both are looking to scout the opposition and perhaps levy some damage before the straps are up for grabs.
3) Animal House square up against Low Hanging Fruit.
Sandy and Veektor hope to put one back in the win column against Balls & Kal, who are desperate for their first W as a team. Who wants it more?
4) In the other half of the MFW Tag Title preview matches, Holly Ames throws down with Yuri Groggnov.
Ames' hammer down, 100-mph style meets the man who can toss anyone halfway across the ring at any given point in time. On paper, this looks to be one heckuva war.
5) In a Hoss battle rematch, Dick Tiki once again faces Red Hansen.
Hippie Joe was so impressed last week by these two, that he was ready to see it again. Will Hansen win once again or can Tiki change the result this time around?
6) Main Event: Exploding Barbed-Wire, Exploding Ring Deathmatch for the MFW Master of the Deathmatch Title- B6 Winner "Big" Buck Hunter challenges Champion Captain Cheese Curd.
The winner of the "Big BBQ Beef Brisket Bunkhouse Brawl" cashes in on the other half of his reward, consuming his $50 worth of Famous Dave's long ago. Two big men, dangerous enough on their own, will rumble in MFW's most dangerous environment. Can the leader of the "Curd Herd" hold on to the strap?
All of this comes to you Thursday night 5/14 at 7PM Central on Twitch!

MFW TV Episode 34 Results:
1) Da Yoopers defeated Hippie Joe & the Hanzscmitt Twins in 26:03 when Ian tapped to S.K.'s cravate.
A good solid opener from these 6 competitors with Da Yoopers getting a win that they can hopefully build from in the future.
2) 1st Half of Tag Title Match preview: MFW Tag Champion The Barge made Ultimo Pinguino submit to a cross-armbreaker at 9:45.
Submission beat slaps on this day, with The Barge controlling most of this contest. Pinguino had flurries of offense but Barge kept on cruising down the river to victory.
3) Animal House beat Low Hanging Fruit in 22:52.
In a spectacular finish, Hinks snagged Ball's arm in a flying cross-armbreaker as Jabroni attempted to DDT the Rad Panda. Balls tapped quickly and Squirrel & Panda got the W.
4) 2nd Half of Tag Title Match preview: MFW Tag Champion Yuri Groggnov pinned Holly Ames at 11:03 after a flurry of Russian hooks.
This time around, suplexes went over submissions. Holly had many great chains and combos of maneuvers, but as she expended energy Yuri started tossing her. Yuri hit the "For My People" powerbomb/DVD sequence twice, skipping fall attempts on both occasions. In the end, Yuri just kept slugging and it was too much for Ames.
After losing last week in a upset to Feet of Fury as a team and now dropping singles matches to the champs, will Slap-Or-Tap be able to regroup for next week's title match? The Ames/Pinguino alliance is built on them obtaining titles...if they don't get it done on episode 35, then what???
5) Hoss Rematch: Dick Tiki avenges last week's defeat pinning Red Hansen after a Nightmare Pendulum at 8:26.
Dick Tiki started slow in this one but kicked up the gears quickly, hitting multiple destroyers and 2 Pendulums to put Red away. My guess is a rubber match will happen sooner than later.
6) Main Event- MFW Master of the Deathmatch Title: MFW MOD Champion Captain Cheese Curd successfully defended against Buck Hunter, making him tap to a bow & arrow at 9:51.
Fast-paced considering the amount of humanity in the ring, the "Big Cheese" was able to withstand Hunter's assault just long enough. Both men were sent into the barbed-wire numerous times, which also contributed to the short amount of time the match took. Who will emerge next to challenge the Captain?
On Episode 35:
-MFW Tag Titles on the line as Snap/Suplex defend against Slap-Or-Tap -The in-ring debut of the "Street Princess" CiCi Cicero -Dick Tiki and Red Hansen tangle a third time, perhaps with something at stake? MFW Lead Official Hippie Joe has been mumbling a lot about their series, but that also could be drugs talking... -And more from your MFW favorites!

MFW TV Episode 35 Preview: The six match format seemed to work well, so that's sticking around for the time being. What six contests will arrive for your viewing pleasure Thursday? Read on... 1) "Sweet" Susan Saint Marie takes on former MFW Champion "Old-Fashioned" Benny Brandy. Benny is looking to get on the comeback trail and back into the title hunt. Susan would like to build off of last week's 6-person tag win. Who will start a new singles win streak? 2) Lucha del Norte (Minnie Sota & Luchador del Lagos) face the Hanzchmitt Twins (Ian & Justin). The twins look for win #2 in the tag ranks and LDN look to rebound from their Midwest Thundersnow loss to Chicago Fire. 3) The debuting "Street Princess" CiCi Cicero squares up against MFW Lead Official, Hippie Joe. Joe is taking over the gate keeping duties this time as Red Hansen has a big match with Dick Tiki later on the card. Can the rookie impress the current boss man? 4) Da Yoopers (S.K. Naba & I. Ron Montaine) will rumble with Chicago Fire (Harry Blackstone & New Jill). Chicago Fire seeks win #2 in the tag division and those Yoopers look to start a new streak. Can Harry and New Jill avenge the loss from episode 29 and further their streak? 5) MFW MOD Proving Ground match on the line: Red Hansen versus Dick Tiki III. After splitting the last two contests on episodes 33 & 34, Hippie Joe decided to run this match one more time. The winner does get something for their efforts and Joe gets more Hoss battles. Win-Win? 6) Main Event: Slap-Or-Tap (Holly Ames & Ultimo Pinguino) challenge MFW Tag Champions Snap/Suplex (The Barge & Yuri "the Bear" Groggnov) for the belts. Slap-Or-Tap has been in a bit of a slump the last couple weeks and need to right the ship to stand a chance. The champs like their chances, now with even more confidence after winning singles matches against both Holly & Ultimo last week. Can the ladies turn things around in the biggest of ways? If they don't, will the team explode? There's only one way to find out... Tune in and watch MFW TV on Twitch, this and every Thursday at 7PM Central!

MFW TV Episode 35 Results
1) Benny Brandy defeated Susan Saint Marie with a Roaring Elbow at 11:45.
Familiar foes, Brandy now has a start on the comeback trail of title contention. Another interesting aspect of this match was Benny relying a bit more on wrestling compared to his usual free-swinging fisticuffs.
2) Lucha del Norte beat the Hanzschmitt Twins in 19:35.
A balanced affair, with the Twins getting very close to victory on multiple occasions. After a shoulder throw, Luchador del Lagos tried a pinfall attempt that surprisingly stuck for the win.
3) CiCi Cicero won her debut against Hippie Joe in 15:33 via Just Another Victim (Tiger Driver '91).
A test passed with flying colors, surely. Hippie Joe threw all he had at the rookie, but CiCi won after a very impressive finishing sequence topped off with her vicious finisher. The already scary Chicago Fire seems to have a very solid addition with the "Street Princess" Cicero.
4) Da Yoopers scored a big W over Chicago Fire at 27:01 when S.K. hit In Da Moonlight for the fall.
A solid win for the Michigan maulers that saw all sorts of action. I. Ron was burned and bloody, but S.K. pulled them through.
5) Dick Tiki earned a MOD Proving Ground match by pinning Red Hansen at 9:02 after a Tiki's Torch/Reverse Tombstone combo.
In match #3 of the impromptu Hoss fight series, Tiki came out throwing bombs and didn't stop. It seemed that Red was finally switching to 2nd gear when Dick put him away, winning the series and a shot at the "Big Cheese", MFW MOD Champion Captain Cheese Curd.
6) Main Event: MFW Tag Team Title Match- Snap/Suplex successfully defended against Slap-Or-Tap when Yuri pinned Holly after a Uranage at 17:33.
Ultimo was just a second or two late to break up the pin at the end, and appeared frustrated. She attempted to engage the Barge in after-match shenanigans, but to no avail. Slap-Or-Tap probably gave the champs their toughest test to date, but Yuri and the Barge still looked truly dominant at times. Who's gonna step to the champs next? Do Holly and Ultimo still have a future as a team? It's been a fairly bad skid these last three weeks...
At the end of the broadcast, MFW Lead Official Hippie Joe passed along a message to be read "on air". Joe first congratulated CiCi Cicero on her victory and then spoke of a certified letter he had received from a FN Boyd. The letter made a match request that Joe seemed fine with granting. Next week, the match of "Who is Best Bear?" will take place.
ALready announced for MFW TV Episode 36:
- Double Main Event! Match 1: Dick Tiki goes to the Deathmatch Proving Ground against Captain Cheese Curd. It will be a Landmine Deathmatch with a 15-minute time limit. - Double Main Event! Match 2: "Who is Best Bear?" "Rad Panda" Sandy Lipner (w/ FN Boyd) faces Yuri "the Bear" Groggnov in a battle for animal supremacy.

1) Trailer Thrash versus Low Hanging Fruit.
The Thrash return to action for the first time since the big Lucha de Apuestas on episode 32.
2) Benny Brandy faces MFW Tag Champion The Barge.

3) Feet of Fury take on Da Yoopers.
Both teams look for win #2 in this contest.
4) Veektor Hinks squares off against CiCi Cicero.
After an impressive debut, CiCi now has the test of a former MFW Champion.

15-minute time limit in this one, if Dick wins or survives he will get a future title shot.

MFW TV Episode 36 Results:
As always, an action-packed night of MFW action with a few surprises as well:
1) Trailer Thrash defeated Low Hanging Fruit at 16:04 when Kal tapped to Don's Every Last Cent submission.
The youngsters Kal & Balls put up a decent fight but the Thrash had control of the majority of the match. Interference from Ultimo Pinguino didn't hurt their cause either...surely. What business did she who is "EVIL, INDEED" exactly have attacking Kal Jobert?
2) MFW Tag Champion The Barge won by submission over Benny Brandy at 13:26 via Anaconda Vice.
In a battle of submission holds versus furious fists, The Barge came up with the victory. Even with trying to trade blows early, the Barge went back to his usual plan and tied up Brandy in a myriad of ways.
3) Da Yoopers (S.K. and I. Ron) went to a 30-minute draw with Feet of Fury.
An extremely even match where both teams seemed to be hitting stride as time wound down. I'm sure we'll see a rematch down the line.
4) CiCi Cicero scored win #2 in as many matches over Veektor Hinks at 14:28 after a Cross Rhodes and a low kick.
Hinks had tons of trouble figuring out the newcomer, only having brief moments of control in the contest. The "Street Princess" continues to impress and now goes for the magical win #3.
5) Co-Main Event #1: MFW MOD Champion Captain Cheese Curd quickly dispatched Dick Tiki at 6:31 in a Landmine MOD Proving Ground Deathmatch with a Bow and Arrow submission.
Curd was the only word heard in this one. Sending Tiki to the light tube boards and landmines early on, the champ put on another dominant performance.
6) Co-Main Event #2: "Battle of Best Bear"- MFW Tag Champion Yuri "the Bear" Groggnov beat "Rad Panda" Sandy Lipner (w/ FN Boyd) at 10:09 after a Texas Suplex.
Lipner showed impressive strength early, launching Yuri with a top rope crucifix powerbomb only a couple minutes in. The Bear weathered the early onslaught and began tossing the Panda around with his vast array of deadly suplexes. In the end, Groggnov stood tall and able to say he is the best bear in MFW.
After the match, a message from MFW Lead Official Hippie Joe was read on air announcing that the bear battle was the opening match of the MFW Wild Kingdom Series. The series will pit all of the animals in MFW against each other in a round-robin format over the upcoming weeks. Participants are the aforementioned Yuri and Sandy, Ultimo Pinguino and Veektor "Flying Squirrel" Hinks. Stakes/rewards for the winner of the series are to be determined by Hippie Joe.
Next week on episode 37, we will see 2 Wild Kingdom Series matches along with 4 other bouts... -Wild Kingdom Series Match #2: Ultimo Pinguino v. Sandy Lipner -Wild Kingdom Series Match #3: Veektor Hinks v. Yuri Groggnov

A tough test for the twins lies ahead against the two Chi-Town ruffians.
2) Trailer Thrash take on Lucha Del Norte
Both teams seek win #2 for their streaks, trying to climb the ladder of tag title contention.
3) MFW Wild Kingdom Series Match 2: MFW Tag Champion Yuri "the Bear" Groggnov (1-0) versus "Flying Squirrel" Veektor Hinks (0-0)
4) Da Yoopers face Feet of Fury again, this time with a 45-minute time limit.
After a draw last week, these teams meet again and we will hopefully see a winner this time.
5) MFW Wild Kingdom Series Match 3: Ultimo Pinguino (0-0) versus "Rad Panda" Sandy Lipner (0-1)
6) Main Event: CiCi Cicero squares off with MFW Tag Champion The Barge for #1 Contendership to the MFW Title.

MFW TV Episode 37 Results
Another big fight night from MFW's Fight Island is in the history books. Here's the results:
1) The Hanzschmitt Twins and Chicago Fire wrestled to a 30-minute draw.
A rematch will quickly occur and with yet another tag match going to a draw, MFW Lead Official Hippie Joe declared all "standard" matches going forward will have a 45-minute time limit.
2) Lucha del Norte defeated Trailer Thrash by referee stoppage at 26:51.
Karen Mothersbaugh was unable to defend herself after repeated stomps from Minnie Sota, which lead to ref Jimmy Buffer calling it.
3) Wild Kingdom Series Match #2: Veektor Hinks pinned Yuri Groggnov with a beautiful deadlift German suplex into a bridge at 9:32.
The "Flying Squirrel" had a solution for the big suplex machine which is "the Bear"...constant, unyielding offense that came from all directions. A very impressive win over one-half of the dominant tag champs.
4) Feet of Fury beat Da Yoopers (S.K. & I. Ron) by submission at 18:41.
Caine got S.K. to tap to an ankle lock and the furious feet continue rolling along, smooth as their bald domes.
5) Wild Kingdom Series Match #3: Sandy Lipner defeated Ultimo Pinguino at 16:46 after a standing moonsault.
All puns intended, these two beasted each other. Sandy got the win but I'm sure both are very sore after this hard-hitting affair.
6) Main Event: The Barge became the new #1 contender to the MFW Title after getting CiCi Cicero to tap to a flying cross legbreaker at 14:27.
CiCi again looked very impressive in the ring, though at every opportunity the Barge was able to grab a submission hold. Cicero fought like heck but got caught wrapped up one time too many. The possibility now exists ... will we see our first ever dual-champion in MFW history? Is someone already printing "Barge 2 Belts" t-shirts? We get to find out sooner than later...
Wild Kingdom Series standings: Veektor Hinks (1-0), Yuri Groggnov (1-1), Sandy Lipner (1-1), Ultimo Pinguino (0-1)
Next week's card so far: - Wild Kingdom Series Match #4: Ultimo Pinguino faces Veektor Hinks - #1 Contender for tag titles match: Lucha del Norte versus Feet of Fury - Main Event for the MFW Title: Korr Miller defends against MFW Tag Champion The Barge

MFW TV Episode 38 Results:
A truly amazing night of MFW TV went down with some history being made along the way. Here's the recap of the wild ride that was Episode 38.
1) Holly Ames submitted Red Hansen with the Cardinal Rule at 11:03.
This was a great back and forth affair with Red actually able to deter much of Holly's MMA-Style offense. In the end, Hansen got caught up in Ames's finisher and had no choice but to tap.
2) CiCi Cicero defeated Susan Saint Marie by submission at 11:56.
Also a competitive match with CiCi trapping Susan in a Nagata Lock III for the W. Cicero starts a new streak and Susan goes back to the drawing board yet again.
3) Chicago Fire got the win over the Hanzschmitt Twins in 38:52.
After a 30-minute draw last week, these duos met again in another long, hard-fought match. Perhaps the best showing by the twins to date, even with them coming up short.
4) #1 Contender's match for the MFW Tag Team Titles: Lucha del Norte were victorious against Feet of Fury in 25:05.
In a fine match that had plenty of crazy action, Luchador del Lagos caught Randy in a leg clutch for the pin after nailing a huge koppo kick in the corner. So, the question remains the same...can LDN win the big one? We will find out soon enough.
5) Wild Kingdom Series Match #4: Veektor Hinks pinned Ultimo Pinguino at 11:29.
Match of the night by a wide margin. Biggest comeback in MFW's short history? Absolutely. Pinguino seemed to have the match under wraps after hitting the One-Flippered Penguin, but Hinks kicked out at roughly 2.95! While Ultimo regained her bearings, Veektor hit a quick top rope elbow drop and followed up with a standing shooting star press for the 3-count. The win put Hinks at the top of the Wild Kingdom Leaderboard at 2-0.
6) Main Event- MFW Title: MFW Tag Champion The Barge defeated MFW Champion Champion Korr Miller in 10:38 by submission to a Sharpshooter! The Barge is now a 3-time MFW Title holder and the first dual champ in MFW History.
#Bargie2Belts is now part of the lexicon here in Midwest Fire Wrestling. The Barge was lazer-focused, grabbing limbs at every opportunity that arose. Miller was able to work out of many of these attempts early, but eventually got wore down to the point of submission. The Barge may be built to haul, but how long will he be able to hold onto both straps?
Wild Kingdom Series standings: Veektor Hinks (2-0), Yuri Groggnov (1-1), Sandy Lipner (1-1), Ultimo Pinguino (0-2)
News from the MFW Office:
It was recently announced that MFW Lead Official Hippie Joe decided that the overall winner of the Series gets a reward... a Proving Ground match against MFW MOD Champion Captain Cheese Curd. (Is that really a reward?) There's also been "rumblings" of a certain match type making a return soon.
Next week on Episode 39:
-Wild Kingdom Series concludes with matches 5 and 6 (Hinks v. Lipner, Pinguino v. Groggnov) -And much, much more!

5) Wild Kingdom Series Match #6: "Flying Squirrel" Veektor Hinks pinned "Rad Panda" Sandy Lipner (w/ FN Boyd) at 10:50.
Veektor won all 3 of his matches, earning him a Proving Ground match for the MOD Title AND a shot at MFW Champion The Barge for his 3-win streak! But first, he will deal with a challenge from "Big" Buck Hunter on episode 40. Buck figures that after Hinks winning the Wild Kingdom Series, he must be the biggest wild game in MFW.
6) "The Last Call for Unhappy Hour" Win via KO or submission only: "Milwaukee's Beast" Korr Miller won the war over "old-Fashioned" Benny Brandy with a modified camel clutch at 14:58.
Fast paced and brutal with both throwing bombs early on. After the dust settled, Miller stood tall. With this chapter in their careers now closed, where do Miller and Brandy go from here?

MFW TV Episode 40 Results
1) Benny Brandy pinned Red Hansen after delivering Bounced at 10:25.
A straight-up, quick, hard-hitting opener.
2) Trailer Thrash defeated the Hanzschmitt Twins at 14:24. Don Buquer used an O'Connor Roll German Suplex for the finish.
The Twins couldn't grab win #2 after last week's impressive upset of Da Hoss Men.
3) CiCi Cicero pinned Korr Miller at 8:39.
Cicero wore out the Beast from Milwaukee with various cutters and got another impressive victory. She will go for win #3 next week with easily her toughest test to date.
4) Low Hanging Fruit came up with win #2 over Chicago Fire at 19:37. Balls made Harry tap with the newly dubbed "Testicular Torsion" submission (Hydrangea).
Jobert & Jabroni looked good against the devious duo. Through fire and mist, the young fellas saw the match through to the end continuing their positive momentum.
5) Big Game Hunt: Buck Hunter was victorious over the biggest game in MFW, Wild Kingdom Series winner Veektor Hinks in 15:16.
Hinks wanted to make it a sprint and Hunter kept up all the way to the finish. The two went move-for-move for most of the match, fantastic showing by both. The "Flying Squirrel" stays busy with next week's dangerous Proving Ground match with MFW MOD Champion, Captain Cheese Curd.
6) Main Event: MFW Tag Team Championship- Snap/Suplex successfully defended their titles against Lucha del Norte when Minnie tapped to The Barge's Boston Crab at 23:14.
Again, LDN comes up short when a title opportunity is presented. They brought the fight, but it wasn't enough to knock off the champs.
Next week, on MFW TV Episode 41:
- In the Main Event, a Proving Ground Landmine Deathmatch with Veektor Hinks facing MFW Master of the Deathmatch Champion Captain Cheese Curd. - Low Hanging Fruit goes for win #3 and Trailer Thrash stand in their way. - Who earns a shot at The Barge? CiCi Cicero will take on Holly Ames, only one will have that elusive win #3 after the dust settles! - 3 more big matches!
