What is the C!X COMMENCE? - The C!X COMMENCE, taking place at the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, is an Officially Branded™ Round-Robin League under the Fire Pro CRITICAL! brand (aka, the Blue Brand) in the vein of NJPW's G1 CLIMAX, with the participants separated into two Blocks -- the Challenger Block and the Free Agent Block. What does it involve? - It's a Round-Robin League, which means by the end of it, each participant in each Block will have faced everybody else in their block. At the end, once the Round-Robin section has been completed, the highest scoring wrestler from each Block will face each other in the Finals, with the Winner receiving a CRITICAL! Club World Championship match on January 31st at "CRITICAL! Royale", a Royal Rumble-styled Officially Branded™ FPC! event with Julian Caesaro-inspired arena decor, and the runner-up receiving the final entry slot in the titular C!R Match. Who qualifies? - 1) Anybody from an FPWAlliance Affiliate and/or the Official Roster Collection who voluntarily signs up! 2) Everybody from the C!C World Championship Division is automatically signed up in the Challenger Block, given that this event has C!C World Championship implications. 3) All of the Free Agents are eligible for automatic sign up as part of their Perpetuity Permission given in the thread! (Handlers may request certain specifics to be announced later. :) ) (NOTE: The number of slots for participants in the Free Agent Block will be determined by how many wrestlers are put into the Challenger Block.) 3) Your edit adheres to the criteria of the Official Roster (200 pts and under, no Cement, and no Cement Logic -- as usual, we're looking for good matches over edits specifically designed to win them). 4) Of course, make sure to link to your edit's Workshop page when you sign them up. :) 5) As usual, Custom edits only, no real life wrestlers (unless you're a wrestler in real life and your edit is you), thanks. 6) If you're manually signing edits up, you can sign up to 3 edits to enter, and your manual sign-ups will be placed in the Challenger Block, even if the edits you're signing up are part of the Free Agents pool, to signify that you've manually chosen to sign up to enter. How will this work?1) If you sign up for the Event with an edit who ISN'T part of the FPWA Free Agency, they will be added to the Challenger Block. 2) If there are an uneven amount of wrestlers in the Challenger Block, a Random Selection will be run to move randomly selected participants from the Free Agent Block to the Challenger Block to even things out. 3) The two lowest scoring wrestlers (regardless of Block) will "win" the dubious distinction of being the first two participants in the CRITICAL! Royale match at CRITICAL! Royale on January 31st. 4) As usual, the Event will feature some Championship matches over the course of its running, such as the Finals containing as part of a Double Main Event a CRITICAL! Club World Championship match between C!C World Champion NorthStarLion and Women's Hoss Madness Winner Oshiro (as per her request). 5) In the event that NorthStarLion, the current C!C World Champion, wins the C!X COMMENCE, he will be allowed to CHOOSE his opponent at CRITICAL! Royale, should he successfully defend the C!C World Championship against Oshiro at the C!X COMMENCE Finals show. More info will be provided as the show approaches and as questions get answered. :) Matches that aren't part of the League itself will also be announced by August 30th. Sign-ups for edits not already booked for the League will take place from now through August 30th, with recording of the League itself to commence sometime during the week of August 31st-September 7th.

Assassin and Gatling have now been added to the Challenger Block!
Random-selection drawings for the Free Agent collections will be held on either August 31st or September 1st, with enough wrestlers being drawn for the Free Agent Block to equal the amount of competitors in the Challenger Block.
The random drawing starts with 1 wrestler per Free Agency placeholder, and will loop back around until the Free Agent Block's participant number equals the Challenger Block's.
Obviously, unless there's a LARGE number of sign-ups on the Challenger Block, some of the Free Agency sets will unfortunately only end up with 1 participant in the C!X rather than 2; this determination will be made by random collection selection after the first round of drawings.
As an extra set of notes:
- With Kaotic's 3 manual sign-up entries, there will be no drawings from PWR for the Free Agent Block, which is why PWR was de-listed from the Free Agent pool for the C!X.
- With Mordecai's 2 automatic entries in the Challenger Block, there will be no drawings from his collection for the Free Agent Block, which is why his collection was de-listed from the Free Agent pool for the C!X, though he is still free to manually sign up a 3rd entry into the Challenger Block if he wishes.
- With Justice Gatling being signed-up manually by Magma, only ONE Free Agent from Battle Road will be randomly selected for the Free Agent Block during the Lottery Drawing rather than up to three.
And very importantly, upon the conclusion of the C!X COMMENCE, the edits who've been manually signed up via this thread will be offered official placement spots in the World Championship Division for the 2019-2020 Blue Season, and an automatic offer for entry into the CRITICAL! Royale on January 31st 2020.

Sorry about the absence, the long weekend limited my good internet access.
The Lottery for the Free Agents Block will take place either immediately after this post (and the result will be edited into this) or will take place tomorrow, and the recording of the C!X itself will take place later this week following the final list of participants (Challengers Block manual sign-ups have officially closed, as per the note at the beginning).
Some additional flavor matches that AREN'T part of the C!X itself will also be recorded as fluff for the event, including a C!C World Tag Team Championship defense by The League Of Liberty, a C!C Cruiserweight Championship defense by Kazuo Saji against Felix Santana III that was previously meant for the Fallout Rising Tour in July but had to be rescheduled, and the previously mentioned C!C World Championship defense by NorthStarLion against Oshiro.
(Speaking of the Cruiserweight Championship, I'll be putting up an update thread for all the upcoming matches for the belt going forward from here until next year's Rising.)

I was radio silent for a while (much longer than I'd wanted) because I was actually dealing with a number of easily preventable (and some that weren't) logistical issues in actually setting the damn thing up. XD LOL
Recording has *ahem* COMMENCED, and so far I have the first 3 parts of the Challenger Block now uploaded to the YT channel and linked in the 2nd post! :)

I was planning on recording it in "standard" league match progression, but it's just easier to record 1 wrestler's complete match-set at a time (part 1 is NSL's, part 2 is FM's, part 3 is Saji's, for instance). Once the "available" match sets shrink, I'll be recording multiples in a single video recording. This way seems to work best for me. :)
Recording of the Challenger Block continues tonight, and the parts will be roughly recorded in up-to-1-hour-ish blocks (at a 576p smaller resolution, unfortunately for those looking for 720p) for my own hard drive space optimization and for easier consumption.
The Challenger-versus-Free Agent final match (as well as tie-breakers leading up to it if necessary) will be recorded in a separate video, cuz it's important enough to be by itself. ;)
Once the entire League itself has been finished, I'll be recording the "attraction" matches that are taking place scattered throughout the event and at the Finals Night.
