These are good questions, Geese. I'll clarify. Any edit either made in 2019 or are making their competitive debut this year as rookies are eligible. This also extends to edits and/or creators who are new to the Community, yet want to fit the guidelines for the tournament. A fair number of edits made last year were new and made specifically for the Star of the Jar. The intent is for new edit creators, but veteran editmakers are more than welcome to enter. Cool, thanks very much for the helpful clarification! 💡 I haven't created a totally new edit in years and I don't recall if I have anyone already made who I haven't debuted yet. So I'll probably not be an ideal addition to this unless I can take one on of my FPR edits (converted to FPW thanks to Freem's tool) that I may have been sitting on then finish turning them into a full-fledged FPW edits. So it's probably better someone else takes the spot cause I think they'll make much better use of it and contribute an edit that is a little more appropriate for this tournament than what I have 😎 (If I could motivate myself to finish turning my Fire Promoter edit into a complete edit, I'd submit him though) I'll definitely be watching on either way! 😃

Where might I find this tool of which you speak, OrochiGeese? Not saying I'm going to enter the Star of the Jar now (even if it would be funny to see if my "first round loss to the eventual winner" streak continues) but it might be nice to convert some of my other old Returns edits to World, even if I don't have World myself.

Unfortunately, I don't think the second half of the conversion process works with the 2.0 version of Fire Pro. Freem/AJ initially released the FPRSaveTool and FPWSaveTool in late 2017 and supported them both into 2018. FPRSaveTool allowed you to export edits from your save to individual files on your PC. Then FPWSaveTool allowed you to import those files into a FPW save. While the FPR Tool still definitely works (since it's not like FPR was updated), I don't think Freem updated the FPW tool to work with the current version of FPW.

I believe we probably do have 4-5 actual newer guys floating (including Osiris and Remy) if those not present in-thread already were to pop in.
Would love to see the actual newer blood get some wrassle-action.

I'd absolutely love to throw someone in the Jar, so long as anyone else who wants in gets a shot first.

I'll throw my name in with the same idea. If there's a spot to be had at the end, I'll throw someone into the mix, but the focus being on the more recent newcomers is definitely a big thing.

Hey there, this sounds like a great way to get in on the community action. I have one face and one heel I need to choose between. They’re at a lowly 90points as they are rookies for my future eFed, no special skill other than finisher and only set to win off their finisher.
If there’s room to enter I’ll get back to you with my nomination.
