For what it's worth, this DLC (which isn't even out yet) made me watch a Stardom show for the first time. :)
I'm not a huge follower of women wrestling but I do appreciate a good match when I see one.
I watched the Aug 10th show (where they announced the DLC roster, I think).
Was it an amazing show? No. You can see very big gaps in the level of wrestling between the girls. Some are very green, some aren't into wrestling at all (or so it seemed to me). Did I still enjoy the show? Absolutely! The match between Arisa Hoshiki and Jungle Kyona was very good and by far stood out from the rest.
I'm glad those two are in the DLC and now I'm actually looking forward to it more than I did before. I also recognized the two girls who were on the AEW show (Riho and Bea), so that was kinda nice.

STARDOM is more pop idol-centric. It's more cutesy, poppy and generally is light-hearted in it's storytelling. Kagetsu is the "Prime Minister" and Natsu Sumire is the "Director of Proliferation" (She's "in charge of" increasing Japan's birthrate). Oedo Tai is a sinister-looking heel group, but they're all kinda goofy, except for Hazuki, who apparently hates everything.
Pop idolatry is even more evident in the ring gear of the STARS group members - See: Mayu, Arisa, and Kid (Also: Tam and Saki).
I cherry-pick the matches I want to see, but most of the time I'm not too disappointed by the wrestling. It's difinitely faster-paced and hits harder than anything the typical American fan would be familiar with (Read: WWE style).
If you want something more 90's-style joshi, you might want to try Sendai Girls (Meiko Satomura's promotion). It's less cutesy, but it does have the occasional comedy match.
If comedy is more your jam, then DDT-TJPW may be worth checking out.

New move - Looks like a Hair Toss from the Corner position; I'm hoping it's a regular Standing Grapple though. Regardless, It'll find use on some of my rough-house, power, and heel edits anyways.

That's a cool trailer. I really like the turning Frog Splash, the torture rack bomb and the weird Octopus Hold variation. Also RIP at the girl who just has a magistral.

This looks super cool! That dragon suplex thingie look killer! and I dig the other moves as well, hope there are more than just one character specific move. :)

I love the effort they are putting into the marketing hype. Hope it leads to good sales and working with other promotions in a similar fashion down the line.
